The dame up the river broke...basically sending a wall of water down the whole river so...the water is still running Really fast.

Did you catch what I was wrote earlier? I'm sorry for making it unclear but I really don't want to fight. Not here at least, if eventually we must. With the way Giant is slowly turning Ocean into King Sombra in his head, this seems more than likely.

The current is too strong for somepony to swim...at all. Any direction. He could be using his beast eye, it doesn't matter, this is basically a tsunami. I said I had everything planned out so no worries about what's happening. And I said that it would make things less interesting if more than one person were to be there when someone first meet's the Atlanteans.
Again...Anyone jumping into the river would die, there are jagged rocks, and they would be moving too fast to be able to swim. The water would just throw them around like a rag doll.
I said that the pegasai got them so I wouldn't have to kill your character. The only reason Ocean is surviving is because she is made of water so she is pretty much flowing around everything.

(OOC: I suppose I should really put it in her characer bio or something, to avoid future confusion. Like I said before in the OOC thread, Feather Quill is loosely based upon myself. I'm about 70% sure I'm heterosexual biromantic, but to avoid confusion I thought it'd be easier to just make Feather out and out bi. She's certainly not promiscuous or flirty, though. If anything, she would probably assume a "gentlecolt" role if she got in a relationship with a mare, not that ).

 

Feather looked to where Moon Wave was pointing; sure enough, Paradox was there. Feather's heart flipped and her stomach dropped at the same time - a curious mixture of terror and exhilaration, not unlike her initial feelings towards the expedition itself.

She listened to Moon Wave's words of encouragement, rather touched at how nice the other mare was being.

 

"Thank you again, Moon." Feather smiled at the other pegasus. "You're a good friend." Yeah, "friend" felt right - for once Feather felt totally confident saying it. "Wish me luck."

 

Feather began trotting towards Paradox.

"Sure you can, Quill." Feather told herself sternly, out loud for good measure - albeit under her breath. "Just go over and talk to him." Feather turned around again, and this time marched straight up to Paradox.

Heck, I'm runnin' in an RP where the most fun part is messing with other ponies heads because they can't tell whether my character likes them or not. We got some PLOT startin' to roll on this.

Gotta admit, I agree with that one - I've always seen Frosty as a fillyfooler, never really seemed like her personality would fit being with a stallion. But I never really tell people I just let her flirt with everypony in the RP sometimes and see what comes of it.

And it's not the character being a troll...it's just the character actually being somewhat realistic and starting to like somepony without immediately tripping over said other pony and groping them the second time they speak to each other. In real life, is it always obvious when somepony likes you after all?

Truth be told I try to avoid romance in my writing because I can never make them realistic or detailed enough. 

 

It's lack of experience...

 

I have no obligation to type what you say, you know. Still, maybe if I'm *just a little* socially awkward in real life, that could translate into my writing by way of my characters interactions...

Its a lake. The river drains into it and yes...Ocean is on the beach shore...thingy.

Actually today I was out walking my dogs and I found a pretty beat up disk for Tony Hawk's Underground just lying there in the middle of the path. It was pretty destroyed, so I can understand someone dumping it, but I've no idea what it was doing sitting in a public cycle path without a case. XD

Dude, the soundtracks for this game is ridiculous. I wouldn't know why they would put more dramatic music then in the Final Fantasy series, but that's just them.
