@,

@@Steel Accord,

The truck near the back of the group was only a few meters away from the river bank...when the back wheel got stuck in the mud.
Without even thinking. Ocean jumped from the back of the truck and called up to the driver. "GO." She yelled, pushing against the back of the truck with all her strength. The truck shot forward, leaving Ocean behind. The water from the ground moved up Ocean's leg as she began to change...but she ignored that. She started running towards the river bank...but knew she wouldn't make it.
She stopped and stared at the wall of water moving towards her. She closed her eyes and tried using her magic to stop the water...it slowed for about five seconds but it barely made a difference.

She took a deep breath then...the water swept over her, with the force of a bullet, pulling her down the river as the last few trucks Just managed to make it to the bank.

((Yea its Dramatic but this is all planned out...I hope its not too stupid...))

@@Dawn Stripes,

(OMG Frosty's posting again! Who's she talking to? Yeah! The same pony...again!) :D

Frostbite walked around the trucks casually, unaware of most of what had just happened other than water pouring in again. She eventually noticed one of the trucks beds seemed to be slightly amiss, even more so than the rest of them. Tilting her head and giggling slightly, she noticed the saddle Giant was wearing was sticking out of the top of the boxes. "So uh, cap? You coming out now? Water's gone" she looked back at the powerful torrent of water "Well...most of it, anyway."

Giant glanced up and groaned, under a touch of inspired seasickness. "If that's gone," he said--with no body motion he couldn't indicate the river behind him-- "I'd love to see your definition of wet."

Then once his vision cleared and he saw who he was talking to, he thought for a moment before shuddering. "No! I didn't mean it! I don't actually want to see!"

In the midst of it all, Moon didn't recognize Ocean going back to help out a truck get unstuck from the mud. The only time when she did look back, is when the water just flowed in.

It was there when she saw the captain being swept away from the water, just like that. It didn't take but a moment's notice to see her disappear.

For a moment, she was quite confused yet scared at the same time. Knowing what may happen, they could lose Ocean which was something Moon did not want to happen.

But when her senses regained, she did realize that the pony was swept away and immediately tried to chase after her.
Only to find out that when she looked downstream,

there was no sign of Ocean.

What...

She kept thinking to herself, but no answer could come out. Moon knew her color well just from the times she had seen Ocean, so why didnt she happen to notice a blue pony in the water?

@,

It all happened so fast, one moment Ocean was tucked safely away in his embrace, the next she was pushing the truck. Steel stared on in abject horror as the wall of water consumed her.

"OCEAN!" He launched from the truck to the riverbank. Reaching his hooves into the shallows to grab something, anything! The water was moving so quickly he was nearly dragged into it from that contact alone.

"OCEAN! OCEAN!" He screamed. The only answer was the roar of the river. "Hold on, I'm coming!" He prepared to take a dive, when the pegasus driving the truck swooped by and grabbed him. Along with another earth pony crewmare.

"Are you crazy? If the drowning doesn't kill you, the water pressure will!" The driver argued.

"I don't care, let me go! OCEAN!" Steel demanded the river relinquish her. "OCEAN!" Alas, it had nothing to offer but death.

She giggled again and climbed up onto the truck with her front legs, still keeping her back legs firmly on the ground as she lifted one of the boxes with her horn. "Come on cap, big strong stallion like you? What's got you so down about a bit of moisture anyways? It's nice and cool, I think."

Iron Hoof noticed Steel calling out but he kept a serious expression as he climbed from the truck. "She's gone, Steel. We need to keep moving." He said, patting the pegasus on the shoulder. "Come on. Get him in the truck." He said, looking at the two ponies holding Steel back before he walked back to the truck. He climbed in and started moving.

Meanwhile...farther down the river. Water shot from a large opening in a bigger part of the cave, at first it was very quick but eventually it slowed to a simple water fall.
After the large lake the waterfall drained into had calmed down...a small lump of water could be seen moving towards shore...moments later Ocean, in her water form yet again, climbed from the lake, collapsing on the shore with a small splash.

Giant snorted as Frostbite jumped on the already packed-to-right truck; her forelegs were pressing the corners of packing boxes up against his fetlocks, and making his unfortunate ride even more uncomfortable. "How many time are we going to have this conversation, you and I?" he grumbled. "Water is....awful. In large quantities. A glass, i can handle. A canteen, that's okay. Anything you can drown in..." he shivered in silent horror. "Never again."

Hearing the unhappy tone in Giant's voice, the child-like glint in Frostbite's eyes soon faded, along with the smile on her face. She didn't let go of the truck, but she lowered the box again and looked down at her hooves. Giant  sighed gruffly and tried to ignore the goods digging into his coat. "At ease," he mumbled. "It doesn't matter. Hmph. I doubt there's a whole lot that could make me feel better at this point."

He rode in silence for a few minutes, trying to manuevre himself where he could get a glimpse of what was up ahead. No luck. This whole arrangement had been made in a bit of a hurry.

"I guess it's not the same for you," he queried, turning the topic of conversation onto something other than himself for once. "You don't seem to be afraid of much of anything."

And you would tell me who you were in due time..

Moon couldn't help that Ocean was gone from the group. She didn't even want to move from her spot from how bad she felt, but overhearing someone behind her caught her attention and took her mind off Ocean.

That is, what Moon could hear sounded like someone going paranoid.

Eventually, she let out a sigh and turned around, but..

When she noticed who it was, it left her more or less speechless. Out of all the ponies to act weird, Steel was the one that was the least on her mind.

Aside from that, Moon had quickly flew up to him, who was accompanied by both Frosbite and Giant. But only paying much attention to the pony that was pale.

She quickly looked him up and down before replying in a slightly quiet tone.

"Are.. You alright sir?"

She looked up at Giant, not lifting her head but instead just lifting her eyes to meet his. Then with a slight shake of her head she sighed lightly "If only that were true...i'm honestly-" she was cut off mid sentence by Steel approaching them from behind, she quickly yanked herself away from the truck and threw her mane back, trying to pretend she wasn't caught with her hoof in the cookie jar, so to speak.

She listened to Steels ramblings, taking obvious notes of his behavioural changes and passing a worried look back at Giant.

Hoof, half the shrinks at the MP ward there would probably say Giant was still suffering from a touch of it himself. The kid had it bad.

"And then there was one," he grumbled disconsolately before shaking to try and rid himself of his toppings. It wasn't an easy process. "Steel, you're doing great, just great, but I need to you to get off your hooves for a minute, okay?" He tried to speak as calmly and reassuringly as possible, not making any sudden movements. "Somepony get...nevermind, I'll get out of this blasted truck and he can sit here...does anypony have any salt we can get in him?"

Giving him an unsure look, she couldn't help but relate in her own way. Looks like she wasn't the only one trying to hide something after all. Taking her pack from her back in her mouth, Frostbite grunted to Giant and then threw it into the back of the truck. "There's some salt cubes in there somewhere, they'll be cold and...solid, salt doesn't just cube by itself without dissolving after all." she stated back in her usual voice "I brought it for dressing wounds, should I need it, but as i've not been hurt yet it couldn't hurt to share."

She turned to Moon who had just seemingly appeared from nowhere at the side of Steel and cocked her head "You uh...you need something?" she asked rather skeptically, having not seen or conversed much with the new arrival. Still looking at Moon, she then spoke to Steel "Track who? Are you alright? You didn't bang your head on the way here did you?"

Just--had to move the--stupid--"Gah!" With a having buck, Giant finally freed himself from his self-constructed restraints. Boxes flew yards off the truck; one container of compressed oxygen slammed on the stony ground and lost its cap, and as a result took off down teh passage the way the convoy had come with a rocketing hiss.

Looking pointedly at nopony, Giant picked up the goods he could and quickly piled them high so that there was still enough space on the truck to set sompony. Then, lifting Steel bodily off the ground by brute force, he set up down in the truck and turned him upside-down.

Quack methods, maybe, some of them. Not all the armies Giant ever served in had the Guard's obsessino for the latest and greatest in methodology. But he'd seen it work often enough to be worth a try.

The first thing to do was ignore any rambling. The colt was in tears, but Giant ignored eveything that was coming out of the pony's mouth. "Come on," he muttered soothingly as he pulled his flashlight out and shined it in both of Steel's eyes, looking to see if the pupils still dilated. Reaction was normal. Good. That was what it was supposed to be, right? Buck it, he didn't remember, he wasn't a doctor. "Stay with me, Steel. I'm not gonna' make it outta' here without you."

He took some of the salt and set it by Steel's head, hoping the pony would down a couple cubes of his own accord. "I'm gonna' need you to take the swords off, okay? Don't need you hurting yourself." This part could be tricky. A violent pony was the last thing they needed right now. He turned to any pony nearby. "Does anypony know what got him upset? What set him off?"

"Steel, I need to keep you from hurting yourself." Giant advanced cuatiously, made slightly difficult by the fact that he was trotting behind a moving truck. Steel seemed extremely reluctant to part with his sword--maybe he was randomly clinging to it for some reason. that would make this dangerous. "But if this gets worse, it's not safe to let you keep those. You've only been down for a few minutes, and if the patterns are anything to go by you're going to be a mess soon unless a miracle pulls you out."

He moved closer, and put a hoof on the edge of the sword belt. "The hoof I'm losing you, Steel. Blast, can you understand a word I'm saying---maybe not. Just...this is for your own good, Steel..."
