I know this may be a little odd, but having just read The Tragedy of Romeo & Juliet in English class, I'd have to say, Friar Lawrence. I'm sure some of you know what I mean, I musn't be alone here. I mean, all the Friar wanted was to help those pansies, but NOPE, they decided to go and kill themselves over each other having only met a few days prior. Seriously? Ever think about who'd you'd be leaving to do all the explaining? Ever think Friar Lawrence would have to go on living with the idea that he was the indirect cause of your deaths? Geez. Kids those days, thought they owned the road.

I feel sad for the Doctor sometimes. Especially in that episode that takes place in the far future, where everyone he knows is dead. It really made me sad once he gets into the TARDIS Shuttlecraft and sets course for earth. He's also ignored a lot in the first few seasons, which is to be expected I guess, considering he's a Timelord hologram.

Virtually every main character in one of Robin Hobbs' books, especially FitzChivalry Farseer. The sheer crap she puts them through is ridiculous.

 

Barney Stinson for the Slap-bet. Made worse by the fact that Marshall also did the same thing, but got a much lighter punishment from the Slap-bet Commissioner.

 

Rogue from X-men. She can't touch anyone without draining their life force away.
