movies/tv Farmers Only commercial...why....

Okay, so living in my area, seeing a commercial about agriculture isn't too far fetched... but when I see this at times... I wonder what humanity has come to.

 

Yes I'm talking about the site for farmers looking for a date...

 

 

There are others of this...yes it is for real.

Usually my dad and I laugh and proceed that with crying after viewing these on the television.  

 

So, tell me how horrible this is

Those aren't just aired in farm country, they're shown everywhere on cable TV. That was the annoying part of having cable... and one of the reasons why I got rid of it, last year.

I figured they were aired around, but I don't have cable... It can only get worse from there.  I think it's just that our dish company sometimes airs community channels of cable.  (They did that in the super bowl one year and we missed all the good commercials and the whole town was ticked)

And my mind went on vacation, to the south of Italy I guess.

 

Nah, it´s cool that all Farmers, Ranchers and Good ol Countryfolks now have a dating site...

And here's the sad part... I only said "cable" because it's fashionable. What I had was a dish as well, though I hear true cable around here is actually far worse. It's so useless, it doesn't even have Internet. One has to get DSL out here, or live with dial-up, or even--heaven forbid--satellite internet...

He he, only for farmers.. Why limit yourself. Still farmers don't have that much free-time and are often always working all day every day. They are hard working people, being a farmer is a lifestyle. So two farmers would have more in common then with people from the city.

 

It's also easy for farmers to become isolated because there are often huge distances between farms. Even though this is a weird commercial and all. It's not like this couldn't work, problem would be getting that commercial to a farmer though. Most farmers are not sitting in front of their tv, they would much rather be outside taking care of the animals.

 

This is still a weird commercial though.
