Am I the only one who got slightly creeped out by Discord?

He's, quite literally, the spirit of chaos. I doubt he could give a hoof less about sexual intents in any way shape or form. All he enjoys is chaos and trolling ponies

Not sure where you get creepy from, but a fragment of sensitive audience might become a tad unnerved by his personality.

 

It's just the manipulating the charcaters we loved so much, and reversing their personalities (y'know, the things that made them them), into the exact opposite, which can be quite shocking to see, after easily getting used to them in the whole first season.

 

Other than that, just not real creepy. I'd say his motive was a bit more creepier than himself, he was the type of villain who liked to have fun with the protagonists, along with an awesome sense of humor, and not to mention a cocky attitude.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEES! We need a dark, ruthless, cunning, predator! Perhaps not some super entity like we've seen in the past. How about just an earth pony who keeps to the shadows and never shows his face? You could swap that out for a diamond dog perhaps. One of a more intimidating breed than the others like a doberman. Maybe even a zebra just to mix things up a little and give Zecora a foil. A villain that poses a far more physical danger as opposed to a grand ploy. Even if he does have an over-arching plan, he carries it out through direct action.

I think Discord is actually one of my most favorite villains, because of his complexities. I am disappointed that you make such a connection with Discord, and I know that what you say isn't correct. What we should be focusing on, is how you came to that conclusion. I will explain what I mean by this.

 

What if the Mane 6 were all male, and Discord female? Would you think the same dark things about Discord? Maybe not, but there is one thing I am certain about. Is that your views are indicative of your own pre-conceived ideas, rather than it is in any reflection of the truth of Discord. It is often times that most would look at man hanging around young girls to be weird and dangerous, yet a women hanging around young boys would not fall victim to that perception. Do you see now the core of your ideas? Do you see how your perception is not founded in truth, but rather society driven prejudices? It is these things that we must learn to identify, and change. What other society driven prejudices do you suppose exist? Would there be any that affect bronies directly? This is a realization that must come from your own thoughts for any good to happen.
