GummyPie 106 May 17, 2013 Share May 17, 2013 Maybe it's just me but when I meet someone and then I find out he/she is a bronie/pegasister, a tarded huge smile spawns on my face. Insta kill. Anyone else feel that way?
Gone Airbourne 21,977 May 17, 2013 Share May 17, 2013 I suppose so. Although I haven't met any bronies in public or locally for that matter. But the friends I made on here are really awesome. So I understand what you mean.

Forgive me? please? pretty please? No need to feel bad, It's an easy thing to do! That's what we're here to do is to help and make sure threads get placed in the right areas Anyway, before we go off topic I think it's pretty normal to feel an immediately sense of liking towards someone if they have similar interests to you. I think it may be emphasised a little as well seeing as you're less likely to find a brony compared to other interests.

Apocalyptic_Unicorn 240 May 17, 2013 Share May 17, 2013 I've never met any Bronies in person, but I agree, If I met someone and found out they were into MLP, it'd make them 20% cooler. (See what I did there? ). Smiles would be inevitable. And yeah, if I wanted to date someone, it'd be great if they were into MLP too :3

Gone for good 1,593 May 17, 2013 Share May 17, 2013 I really wanna say no, but uhhhh.... Yeah, actually for me it kind of does make them more attractive. I actually used to have a huge crush on some girl from my campus who was into ponies which started more so about the fact that she was into ponies and not because she was adorable in general. I'm gonna hope that didn't sound creepy, lol. 1 Just editing my signature to say that my behavior on here was cringe. Crispy 5,563 May 17, 2013 Share May 17, 2013 It does bring some extra coolness into the equation, depending on how they act. It's totes possible to be a brony and an asshole at the same time. Liking things I do won't save you if you do things to make me think you're an asshole. (The collective, proverbial "you". deadprofile 1,122 May 17, 2013 Share May 17, 2013 I am not sure what to say to this since not only am I already married (and thus not looking at others in attractiveness), but also I have yet to meet in person any fan of the show that ISN'T the targeted demographic.... My husband isn't a brony, but he's kind enough to watch each new episode with me (he does enjoy the show but the fan type, way too down to earth), puts up with my obsession, and believes my build-a-bear Pinkie Pie is constantly begging him for candy (the look in her eyes as she peers at us in the dark) 1 "In fire iron is born, by fire it is tamed"
fly 10 May 17, 2013 Share May 17, 2013 (edited) other than my brothers and sister (yes i'm lucky to have siblings who love the show as much as i do), i've only met one brony. i actually knew him for a couple of years before i found out. &it was kinda funny how i found out he was too. he's in my youth group at church, and we were all hanging out, and i was like, "i'm 20% cooler than all of you..... none of you get that, do you?" and he was like, "i do." aaand i was like >:DDDD. but then everyone started joking around with us and he decided that he only watched it because his sister made him do it. but it didn't really make him more attractive. Anonymous~ 591 May 17, 2013 Share May 17, 2013 Well, while I do agree that many bronies are more attractive because they are bronies, I cannot say it's 100% true the whole time. Want a example? Hazel-Beam 88 May 17, 2013 Share May 17, 2013 Yes. Yes yes yes. I don't know if the fact that someone liked ponies would make them more attractive in my eyes, but it would definitely make me want to spend time with them even more. I have yet to see someone wearing a pony shirt on my campus, but when I do, I'm going to find some excuse to start a conversation with them and we can geek out over ponies together. fimdash 1,196 May 17, 2013 Share May 17, 2013 (edited) Oh, man. I absolutely love discovering when someone is a brony/pegasister. I totally see them in a new light after the realization. I usually think thoughts like "Dang, this person has also experienced the magic of ponies." Seriously, being a brony/pegasister really does make one 20% cooler. I will admit that I'm a little biased toward bronies/pegasisters, so I'm usually super nice and talkative with them. I suppose I'll find a person more attractive if they're into ponies too, mainly because I find a person beautiful not just from their physical appearance but also from their personality/who they are. Card Shark 26 May 17, 2013 Share May 17, 2013 I personally don't find bronies attractive, but i think a pegasister is much hotter than a non fan. I think it's more along the lines of having a connection with someone.

Seriously, after I met her and complimented her dashie merch, I couldn't stop smiling for 3 hours afterward. We didn't get to talk much after that, which kinda sucks because I thought she was really smart and cool
~Master~ Button Mash 2,307 May 17, 2013 Share May 17, 2013 Dating a pegasister or a brony would be like a dream come true to me. Common interests are very important in a healthy relationship, and there's no better common interest than PONIES. 1 Follow me on Tumblr! http://stratosthestallion.tumblr.com
Gigapony 650 May 17, 2013 Share May 17, 2013 Sadly there seems to be no bronies/pegasisters where I live. Or if there are, they hide themselves very well. While I don't make it a requirement for someone to like ponies for me to want to date them or be their friend, it does make them 10,000 times more awesome to me. Same way I would feel if they shared any of my other interests, but for some reason meeting someone who also likes ponies would make me even more giddy. I try to put the beacons out there (wearing pony merch, etc.) but nobody ever seems to notice. Oh well, at least I have a community of online pony fans to turn to, so that's something!
Scootalove 10,689 May 17, 2013 Share May 17, 2013 Everytime I meet a brony on the forums, I just feel so warm & happy inside. But, if only I could meet one in real life I would just be so happy. 1 Credit: Moony © Forum FAQ Forum Rules
Shanks 10,816 May 17, 2013 Share May 17, 2013 I think it all boils down to that alot of people tend to gravitate toward others with similar interests and personality does often play a role in who someone will find attractive so I can see why that would make someone seem more attractive. As for me personally I can see how a woman being into ponies could make me more attracted to her, however while a woman being into the show is not an absolute requirement for me what is required is that she at least won't judge me too harshly for being into it. There are many many traits I look for in a woman and one of the most important ones is having an open mind, and any woman who would disown me for something as harmless as liking ponies is not worth my time. 3 Rarity Get's Cockroaches
Rainbow Skywalker 642 May 17, 2013 Share May 17, 2013 Gee, if I met a Brony in real life... Well it certainly would be much more interesting than just your average person. I think the main reason they would seem more attractive is because humans find difference more appealing than not. To contrast, if I were surrounded by IRL Bronies 24/7 then it would seem more appealing to find a normal person, ya see? Justin ZW 396 May 17, 2013 Share May 17, 2013 If I met a girl in real life who was a brony, that would pretty much be it for me. I would instantly ask for a number and a date lol. But of course, bronyism generally carries nerdiness with it, and considering how very nerdy I am... Level3rd 128 May 17, 2013 Share May 17, 2013 Now, if there were any pegasisters in Alberta, then I'd be able to relate to finding one I'd like to spend time with.Sadly though, I have only run into bronies thus far.
