books What is the cheapest good book you ever got? (Not including E-books etc.)

Just post the name of the book and the price you had to pay for it. This does not include e-books, that 101 books classic collection thing for the DS, or any books that are only viewable on a screen at all.

 

The cheapest good boom I got was 'I know what you did last Wednesday' by Anthony Horowitz. I got it from Sainsbury's for 10p.

The Complete Works of William Shakespeare in a used bookstore for $7.95. It was actually in really good condition as well, hard cover, leather bound, and it didn't look like it was used that much. It saved me quite a bit through the high school years and I never regretted buying it.

 

I'm a big fan of Shakespeare as well, I ocasionally go to see plays at a close city. I saw The Tempest a while back and I'm glad I was able to read it first before I saw it.

Goldfinger for 25 cents at a thrift store. The movie was quite a bit different from the book. Almost to the point of not being related at all. That being said, it's James Bond. How can it not be good?
