It is? I just googled up leaf and got a random leaf, which I proceeded to draw. The name's a placeholder... because I'm bad at thinking up names for ponies. I was not aware of this. Oh well.

Your style seems repetitive.

 

To me this looks like many of your other OC's just with a different Cmark and color pallet.

 

Nonetheless, It's still a nice drawing!

It's not my style that's repetitive. It's that the OCs I make try to resemble their human counterparts as much as possible. Most people have dark hair, and I don't want to just give them differently coloured hair that has nothing to do with them. So instead, I just pick their favourite colour, and darken it for the mane. I only ponify humans, so that's why they might seem repetitive. People don't have a lot of colour range. As well, a lot of people, for some reason... love the colour blue. I'm not sure why, it's just popular. And this pony resembles my OC pony because it is my sister, who is related to me. And my OC pony is based on me... so... yeah. Technically, it's the sister of the pony in my avatar.

 

If anything, my style is less repetitive because I take body structure in mind. Her model is thicker than the usual pony model, which is intentional. As well, I made the legs shorter. I try to compensate by differentiating in body structure.

 

Although now that you mention it, I am going to see if I can attempt... somewhat different methods to ponify people.

Thanks! Ah... if you mean conceptualizing, that doesn't take very long since they're usually based on people I know and I generally know their talents and stuff. Choosing colours typically comes easy as well since I pick the person's favourite colour. Drawing? It takes hours because I try to imitate the quality of a vector without it actually being a vector. I look at extensive show references and steady my hand. The outlines take the longest.
