Hello ^^ I'm seeking someone for a One on One MLP. I'd get into a group one, but I always seem to have troubles if I'm gone and I miss a lot, it's tough for me to keep up. So for now I'll stick to One x One.

 

I'm fairly picky about who I RP with. You need to have pretty decent writing skills. I don't expect entire novels in one post. I'm more for a decent sized paragraph here and there. I understand with conversations and action scenes that it can be hard to write.

 

And that's a big thing. I love action/adventure. Creating different monsters to fight is one of my speciaties, but if I'm to RP, I would like my RP partner to take their share of monsters and baddies as well. They don't have to come one after another, heck, part of the fun in RPing is developing bad guys, and even possibly side characters. Though I don't take too many characters, usually I like to keep the focus on our two main charries.

 

Romance is iffy for me. I only do hetero couples, and that's only if it really makes sense. I like to keep my RPs clean, and romance sometimes takes away from the plot of it, so I'm super picky about how a romantic interest develops.

 

Anyway, if you're interested, please post an example of your writing. It doesn't have to be too elaborate ^^ I'm sorry if I don't choose you. I feel bad denying some people, but really, the length of an RP really decides on the writing characteristics of both RPers. I appreciate any offers, though, and I hope to RP with you soon! ^^

My character's a halfie too, perhaps the story could have something to do with that slight similarity? Though, she isn't part dragon.

My idea is that my character (Nocturne) meets Ember while she's protecting a village, and strikes up an offer with her, to help her obtain something in another part of Equestria. Hence adventure. There could be a small organization that knows what Nocturne is after and wants to stop her. Hence baddies and action.

Here's a piece of writing that would be my intro post:

"I'm so glad that that dragon-mare is protecting our village. We haven't had a single timber wolf attack since she's gotten her."

 

Nocturne had been reading a book at a table at the outside of a cafe in Invermare, a small village on the outskirts of one end of the Everfree Forest, and a pair of teenage fillies had decided to sit at the table next to hers. Wonderful. Their gossip about handsome stallions and the pony who apparently got shot down by somepony named Rain Runner was less than interesting and more than annoying to hear.

While their new topic was a bit interesting, it made no difference to Nocturne. She was leving the village the next morning.

 

The mare shook her head and went back to reading. The story was no longer interesting, so she placed a bookmark, closed the book, and sipped her tea.

 

"She doesn't even have to attack them! Just seeing her makes them scared!"

"Well, it's obvious why, but I totally get what you mean. Isn't she, like, some sort of bounty hunter?"

"Yeah, I think so."

 

Now, that made Nocturne's ears prick up. Perhaps this dragon-mare could be of use to her after all. She looked at the sky. It was almost nighttime, the setting sun setting the sky ablaze. Perfect. The dragon-mare would be done with her job soon.

 

As the teenagers were getting up, Nocturne trotted over to them.

"Hello, I couldn't help but overhear you talking about the dragon-mare -Isn't the proper term 'Dragony'?- that is currently protecting this fine village. I would like to meet her, would either of you know where she's staying, by any chance?"

She smiled at them, letting her words and singsong voice sink in. She knew that even if they didn't know, they would find out for her.

The shorter of the ponies spoke up first and directed her to the hotel. She waited, and when she saw the dragony, she cantered over, and spoke in her eerie, song like voice.

"Hello, good evening, miss. I have heard much about you, and how you have taken to protecting this village. Well, I have an offer for you. I am traveling to the Crystal Empire to regain something stolen from me. What I ask of you is to travel with me and help me get there. There will be ponies after me, and I believe the sight of you might intimidate them. No offense, of course, I'm not trying to call you ugly in any way. I only think that because I have heard that you can easily intimidate Timberwolves, so I don't see how ponies would be much different.

Ah, and of course, you shall be given the finest reward..."

Info about Nocturne:

Her father was a Unicorn.(Name: Night Hex)'€£ , her mother a siren(Name: Requiem. Last siren left at the time.(like sirens of irl mythology)). Her mother did care for her mate, but he died soon after Nocturne's birth.

Her mother hated her and shunned her for not having the ability to transform into the trademark Seapony form. All she had inherited was the singing and song-like voice. After her father died, her mother left her at an orphanage. She remembers all of this, and doesn't care. When she was old enough, she left the orphanage, becoming a nomad. She disliked ponies, still does, and sometimes ended up fighting. Over time, her horn cracked from hits to it by hoof-to-hoof combat. She got angry and knocked the colt she had been fighting out, then her magic came in a spurt, and she ended up in his dream. She spoke to him, telling him to never attack anypony's horn again, and he seemed mesmerized, hypnotized. She turned away, and she was back in the real world, and her cutie mark appeared.

Se continued be a nomad as she grew up. She started to enjoy reading, and sometimes reads to pass the time.

 

The backstory before this RP will unfold after it starts.

If this RP can have mutilated creatures, (for example: Metro Last Light or Fallout 3/New Vegas) Then I'm all in. I have many ideas for creepy creatures and can be extremely specific. I haven't been RP-ing much except for X-box and cant really do anything that deals with wasteland or creature things. But truth be told I need to let my ideas go.
