I was not expecting to actually breach $300! Haha glass half empty type guy eh? You really do great work and If I don't win I will definitely be buying at least one painting from you (That Cloudsdale Painting!). I'm pretty sure I'm out if anyone ups the bid though. The only reason we have bid so high is because we have seen Detective Butler's other works (portfolio) and are impressed with the previous works he has done. Also If you go to the original post you can see how far along the painting is and I am really impressed with it. Art isn't going to please everyone, but I really enjoy the way it looks and would be proud to hang it on my wall. Also part of my bid was influenced by the fact that I knew the money was going to a good cause. Feld0 and the Poniverse Staff have worked extremely hard getting this community to the point it is at and they only want it to grow more. 3 Sig made by me. Surprisingly it came out somewhat decent. So it is nice to see a few people that understand the whole reason behind this auction. Its not like i understand why this auction is talking place. Some people have disposable income. If they want to give back to a community that has done good things, then more power to them. If there is anything I have learned in my short time alive, it's that nothing is ridiculous, people laughed at Bill Gates and Steve Jobs saying that it was ridiculous to invest in computers and that they were only a 'fad'. Look how far that 'fad' has come. Just because you analyze something to be ridiculous doesn't mean it is. I would bet money on the fact that comments like that provide the drive and passion for Feld0 and Staff to make sure his vision is a giant success. And like I said text is a horrible medium for tone and inflection. The way I read you saying "Shocking and Ridiculous" was in a mocking tone as to mock the people willing to bid this high.
