Sanura awaited her chance; when a bunch of bandits ran her way she dealt with them with frightening efficiency. Two were killed; there was no other option but to kill them. If she'd captured them, they would have yelled, thus warning the others; all Sanura could do was to silence them efficiently with a hoof dagger to the throat. The others she knocked out; the hoof daggers had strong, unyielding hilts perfect for giving out knock out blows. The half zebra hid herself, waiting for others to come her way.

(OOC: I was on a vacation so I couldn't post for the past few days)

Phylomon parrys the axe (blocking it). He turns the blade up spinning the sward around and cutting the handle of the axe then quickly withdraws and prepares to jab at the bandit.

(So...I have no idea why I didn't post today, I was just...waiting, I guess - i'm sorry)

Harmonic rubbed his neck as he clambered his way back to his feet, eventually returning to a stand, shaking his head and walking down a flight of stairs before taking a left to the medical room to check on his squad. "Sanguine!" he called as he approached, seeing the assassin sat beside the door. "How is she? Have they said anything?" he asked with a sense of urgency.

Golden Age smiled mischievously. He scanned the area looking for an opportunity to jump in. However, he needn't bother himself with that, for two bandits quickly paced towards him cautiously. "Two against one? Aye, as you wish" he said before quickly making his move, stabbing the spear of the weapon into one of the pony's chest.

Before the other one could react, he brought the weapon out and swung it around the hit the remaining pony with the blade. He then worked his away amongst the tussle, stabbing and slashing wherever the opportunity arose.

Acheron glared at the strange courier. He had a blank stare, making Acheron wonder if something like a spell might have been cast on him. The unicorn tightened the chaind, threatening to crush his body as he ripped the satchel away.

"Give my regards to Cadenza," Acheron said as he raised the shadow claw to kill...

The chains around the ponies body where visibly tightening, and it showed in the body language. He was shaking slightly, and half trying to escape, half wanting to stay there. The claw raised higher, and he grinned, leaning his head forward for a second before a green light shone from around his hooves...

Within a split second, he was engulfed from hoof to head in a green aura, and his appearance had completely changed to that of Acheron's. "Give my regards to Cadenza" he grinned, his blank stare now filled with a clear malice as he looked directly into Acheron' eyes.

(So, we where in dispute about bringing Changelings into this, that's the reason they've not been mentioned. But we decided with Cadence being royally outmatched, we may as well give her a powerful ally, as well as bringing the Mane 6 into Canterlot's army one by one.)

@@Agent505,

(Ha, it's alright, I slept half the day away anyway. Though if you were waiting for me, then I apologize)

Sanguine chuckles, standin from his leaning position against the wall, "They way you speak I might almost assume you were an item."

He shakes his head, "No. They haven't said anything as of yet. The rest of your squad are suffering from basic magical burnout, as I mentioned, unless the medics found something new. Personally, I don't really see much wrong with her. It was normal for ponies to behave that way when I was growing up. Unless she's physically not herself, I don't have much of an idea."

He gestures to the doors, "But it's not my opinion you're after. Feel free to ask the medics yourself."

(And that's basically just me stalling because I can't think of anything for them to say without feeling like I'm godmodding. Unless I'm not supposed to have them give the verdict, in which case: makes sense)

@@Justin ZW,

It was almost an hour before they had reached Ponyville. They had a few 5 minute breaks along the way so Fiera could regain her strength from carrying Applejack. About half way there Applejack was able to walk on her hooves again.

They were currently walking through Ponyville towards Twilight's house. "Its obviously faster to send a message to Princess Celestia rather than tell her in person. I don't know what i was thinking before. I guess i was just too focused on actually getting you out of there, rather than thinking about where i was going to take you"

Swordpoint stepped behind the bandit leader and plunged his lance into the brute's neck. The bandit shouted and gurgled as blood filled his mouth, and then he fell to the ground, silent. The others ran away in terror.

”Hmph. That was pathetic.” Swordpoint made his way to a stack of crates and examined them. ”I've found them. These are the supplies.”

Applejack glanced at Fiera. ”So why didn'tcha stay with Swordpoint an' the others? I thought y'all were workin' together.”

Sanura walked up to Swordpoint. "I'd have expected more of a fight, personally," she said. "There's a couple of bandits that I knocked out and tied up back there. They'll live to be tried for their crimes. We could either take them with us, or lodge them in Appleloose and send for them later.

"I...hmmm." Harmonic began "She's one of my guards, nothing more. And as long as my guards are under my command, their well being is a liability to me. Understand?" he snapped, rather defensively. "The medics know what they're doing, I trust they'll be in good care, but I will be back later to check. I would suggest you go and get yourself cleaned up, or supplied. Cadence needs us again, soon."

The flesh around Sanguine's eyes wrinkles as he smiles beneath his mask, laughing quietly, "your defensive tone suggests otherwise," He continues to laugh for a few seconds more, "Aah, but what's an 'old' assassin know, eh? Whatever you say, Harmonic."

Sanguine nods, "Sounds enjoyably. Know anything about the assignment this time? If not, then I'll just be off."

@@Justin ZW,

Fiera froze, but quickly came up with an excuse and continued walking along side Applejack. "Oh. I started to feel a bit sick, so he sent me back to town. Must have been something i ate earlier. There was no reason to bring it up before" she lied.

They soon reached Twilights house and Fiera waited for Applejack to do the honors. She was her friend, not Fiera, so it only made sense to her that Applejack would knock.

@@00Pony,

Harmonic inhaled, letting out an (almost predator like) growl as he did so. Lifting his head and looking down at Sanguine, he snarled an answer "No idea, she asked me to leave for a moment, i'll get more information later." He turned around sharply and started walking away, slowing down to finish what he wanted to say "I would suggest not going far, i'll send for you once more when your services are required."

@@Agent505,

Sanguine chuckles once more, "You are incredibly easy, and enjoyable, to piss off."
He stops laughing and instantly changes to his normal tone, falling serious once more, "Very well. I'll await your summons."

He turns and walks away in the opposite direction, exiting the medical ward, and from there, the palace.

The short stallion makes his way down the streets, taking as many back alleys as possible to avoid contact with the other ponies.

After a few minutes of this, he arrives at a simple house, opening the door and stepping inside. Within the house's walls are anything you would expect from a house. Dining room, living room, bedroom, and all the furnishings within. Sanguine steps past all of these, going straight for a door in the back corner and stepping through. The room within was furnished slightly nicer than the rest of the house, and he trots straight for a large display case, opening it and taking the hat from his saddlebag's setting it down in an open space before closing the display case.

Sanguine steps back, removing his hood and face mask. He takes a deep breath, observing the contents of the display case. Inside were his trophies of his past victories, personal possessions of those he defeated in combat, usually with death. The only exceptions were his mother's necklace, and Applejack's hat. Turning away from the display case, the assassin steps over to a mirror in the far corner, placing a hoof on it and closing his eyes for a few seconds. When he opens them, the whites of his eyes have turned to a near black shade, causing his blue irises to stand out. Though the mirror appeared blank and dusty to any who would be standing in the room, to Sanguine, it rippled like a pool of water.

A few seconds after opening his eyes, an old stallion steps into the frame of the mirror. He looks down at Sanguine, eyebrow raised. The assassin kneels, speaking in a quiet, breezy tone, "I am ready for my next lesson.. Father."

The assassin's father nods wordlessly, reaching out and pulling 'Sanguine' into the mirror. The stallion's body crumbles limply to the floor, as if asleep.

"One more of those, and i'll slay you where you stand..." Harmonic grumbled as his horn began to glow, before fading quickly as he made his way deeper into the tower. A few turns and corridors later and he found himself back at the armory. Throwing his hookswords onto a chest beside the door, and laying his amulet down beside them, he made his way over to the mannequin from where he collected his hood earlier, and replaced it.

Swordpoint nodded. ”Yes, let's take them. They can be placed in the prison at Appleloosa.” He lifted a crate onto his back. ”Let us depart.”

Applejack frowned. ”Ya can't lie to me, sugarcube. No soldier's gonna get sent back for a stomachache.” She gave Fiera a wary look. ”What happened to Swordpoint?”

Fiera furrowed her brow and looked at Applejack. "I'm no soldier. I'm barely a punching bag. They expected me to do live action training when i can't even fend for myself. I left, alright? I'm not part of the military anymore. They were supposed to train me, not demoralize and insult me." Fiera looked away and kept waiting for Applejack to knock.

"Well we don't know how many messengers she has. She might only have 1 or 2 messengers but as you said she might have several hundred as well.If she indeed does have hundreds of messengers, we are going to have to do some spy business and figure out which messenger to capture. We will need to capture the messenger that is delivering her important messages."

Crimson nodded in agreement, "well, since you put it that way, I guess I'll volenteer to capture the messenger and take his place...but what will you guys do while I'm gone? I hope you can make a plan for other missions instead of just sitting here doing nothing..." said crimson casually before walking over to the same crystal that aecheron had exited from, and zipped through it to the surface.

Acheron was slightly surprised by the sudden transformation of the changeling. He quickly raised the shadowy claw and used it to rip into the changeling's neck, killing it.

"Hm, well it seems quite obvious now Cadenza has plenty more allies on her side than anticipated.... this will be troublesome to deal with," Acheron said as he used his dark magic to turn the body to ash. He had retrieved the letter earlier, and was now preparing to head back to the hideout in the caverns.

"Wait don't go!" screamed Crystal Dusk but it was too late.

How is he going to know which messenger to capture! He will probably end up capturing the wrong one.

Crystal Dusk now had nothing much to do.

"planning ahead is hard when you don't know what's going to happen. We could, however, try to work out a plan of attack on Cadence's army."

Curse thought for a second.

"My area of expertise isn't flat-out war, but picking ponies off one by one. If we do this, Cadence will barely notice for a while."

Asked crimson sarcastically as he leaned against a wall.
