legionbrony 107 February 4, 2015 Share February 4, 2015 Coming from somebody who has high-functioning autism, this got a hearty laugh out from me. Seriously, who cares if it's used as an insult? I also find it hilarious about how these guys can't be bothered to use their precious time on something else. I'd say it's best to ignore them. I too love the fandom, but it isn't worth it if you try to take down a ridiculous documentary. I'd rather have a good time instead of paying attention to anti-bronies. What this person said. And this applies to all trolls and bullies. Standing up to them gives them more ammo to make fun of you with. Just pretend they don't exist and they won't have any more enraged bronies to LOL at. “What surprises me most? Man. Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived.” -The Dalai Lama
KatonRyu 1,033 February 4, 2015 Share February 4, 2015 Honestly, this thread gives those guys far too much credit. They're trolls; being deliberately insulting and misinformed is what they thrive on. Getting worked up over them means they win. Yes, they misrepresent autism and I do understand that people can consider that hurtful. But you have to remember: this is the internet. Communities where respect is expected and trolls are banned are rare. Youtube certainly isn't one of those places. They know full well that what they're doing paints the wrong picture of both the fandom and autism, but they do it anyway, for the lulz. The Internet Hate Machine extends far beyond 4chan these days and everyone who gets worked up about it feeds them more reasons to continue. Deprive them of their food and ignore them, and you'll be much happier for it. They won't stop doing it until we collectively stop reacting to them. Don't even report them; getting a new account up and running is easily done. Just ignore whatever they do and remember: Don't feed the trolls. They're not ignorant; they're spiteful. Don't reason with them, don't engage them, don't give them anything. Anything you say to them is a victory for them. You cannot win a battle against them. Starve them of attention, their e-peens will shrivel and fall off and maybe they'll get a life.
Scream Lucid Dream 103 February 4, 2015 Share February 4, 2015 I don't even bother to look at this crap. I have a life. Do the people who make a fuss about a silly fandom have lives?
Astral Blitzen 469 February 4, 2015 Share February 4, 2015 Holy Satan, who resurrected this thread? *Slurping up a pink whale through a big straw while in a swimming pool filled with trash and some kinda gravy*.
Po-Nonimous 583 February 4, 2015 Share February 4, 2015 First, let's all relax and take a breath. Next, that channel's been terminated, Youtube took it down. Good! We don't need anyone with obvious mental disorders making sites that put others down for things they can't help. Also, this's the second time in 24 hours I've seen a thread like this started. It's making me suspicious and it's got me wondering if we haven't been infiltrated by a troll. I think that, from now on, whenever I see a thread like this I won't post in it, I'll just report it and help to get it removed. After all, the only reason trolls start troll threads is for the attention. That's all they really want. Why give it to them? Hmm...that link doesn't seem to lead anywhere but to a 404 page. I wonder if I'm using an outdated version of YouTube or something? No, Youtube already took the site down. baltosaa 86 February 4, 2015 Share February 4, 2015 I'm probably not even going to watch those videos.. e.e It's annoying though how people think that just because some members of a fandom are a bunch of annoying fanboys/girls the whole fandom must be like that. It seem's as if people are forgetting that ALL fandoms have "that" side to it that nobody likes, so they feel the need to treat Bronies as a "Special Case".. :/ (It even exists with RELIGION. Come on people XD ) This is a signature, and that was a post...
