When the going gets tough, and you need him to be there for you, he'll vanish, just as I would. He's spoiled, he's had things go his way all his life. He's never felt hardship, and he can never relate to you, never... understand you." As Todd was saying this, he edged closer, so that he was next to Minty by this point. He looked down and smirked. His keen eye had noticed the barely perceptible scars on Minty's front hooves. "Windy doesn't know what its like to feel like there's no way out; that you need to please everypony and be perfect... it comes naturally to him. But I do know a very nice colt who you could actually resonate well with... you know him too, now that I think of it."

"No, I don't want to be with you, Todd." Minty waited anxiously for Windy to return so nothing bad would happen. She fiddled with her hooves frightened that something might happen, because it's Todd, after all. "I'm with Windy, and he understands me just fine," she argued to Todd. "He's the best coltfriend I can ask for."

Todd raised his eyebrows. "No, this colt I was talking about, it wasn't me. I wouldn't be caught dead with you. As to Windy being the best coltfriend you could ask for, is he now? I mean, how meaningful and deep are your interactions with him? He can't emphasize with you. I mean, he's seen you up close and... personal, as it were, and yet he never noticed those peculiar little scars on your hooves? How can a stallion who has had everything, always been liked and popular and talented, understand a mare who has to cut in secret to ease the pain? He simply can't relate to that! Denim glances back over her shoulder at him, "You really are. You can expect that to happen in the future."

 

She opens the door and steps out. She turns back to close it, and waves to him, "Good bye. I'll see you in a couple hours."

Denim smiles once before closing the door.

Royal yawned and stretched again, waving and nodding too denim as she left.

He sighed when she closed the door, looking around the room for something to do.

He shuffled through his cards, played solitaire with himself, but he couldn't get distracted. His normally focused mind was jumping everywhere, and he couldn't figure out why.

Then a letter came.

Minty looked down. "I.." She looked at her small cuts sadly. "Blaze...?" She glanced at the direction Windy went in and at Todd. "Blaze is a jerk.." She said. "He.. he called me a w-whore.." She said, her voice breaking. "He's changed, okay? He's not the same colt. Windy is great.." She smiled.

Todd's eyes narrowed, and he gritted his teeth in frustration. His horn surged with energy, and he blasted her with a spell before she could react. As she stood woozily on the spot while the love spell set in, Todd growled angrily, "now that's better. Now, listen up and listen good you stupid whore. You're gonna like Blaze, and once he has you, he'll side with me against Windy. Now go on, find Blaze!" He said, trotting off. Muttering to himself, he changed direction and headed for the Alpha Pi Sigma Sorority. "Can't have Windy meddling and trying to get Minty back, or Blaze won't help me. But if he's distracted by a super hot sorority mare, he won't think twice about Minty again!"

Minty walked in circles dizzily, and then finally shook it off. All of her feelings towards Windy has disappeared. She looked around, having a random urge to find Blaze. She had no idea why she had a suitcase. She trotted off in search of the changeling. She desperately needed to find him.. She trotted as fast as she could to his dorm. Todd smiled maliciously as he watched Minty trot away. Blaze would certainly be surprised. "Getting him back his mare will surely make him loyal to me to a tee, and if he's in my corner, Saro will be too. They can help me stifle these horrid rumors of what happened last night, help me pummel that soccer doof, and return things to the way they should be!" he thought, as he trotted into the Alpha's sorority house. Seeing a beautiful, shapely dark red mare sitting on the couch, he sauntered up. 

 

"Cinder, just the mare I needed to find! I need a favor of you?" "No Todd, I won't go at it with you. I don't care how badly you want to." Cinder exclaimed in a bored, irritated manner. "Oh no, my dear, I'm not here to try and woo you, I'm here to tell you to knock the socks off a stupid freshman colt who has been a rather large annoyance to me." "Runner?" "How'd you know?!" "Whole sororities been talking 'bout Runner. He's made quite a splash. And made you lose a lot of face too, way I heard it." "Shut up! Point is, I'm in the middle of erasing him from the equation that equals me resuming being the king of this campus. But I need you to distract him for a period, you know, string him on, keep his head in the clouds and keep him oblivious." "Why should I Todd? What's in it for me?" "You know how rich I am. I can make your life a lot easier. You don't even have to have sex with him, just lead him on until I tell you otherwise." 

 

After a moment's pause, Cinder stood up off the couch. "I'm in. Runner's kinda cute, and I have been looking for a new boytoy for a while now. I guess he'll do for bit. Getting your father's cash is just gravy for me. I'll see you later lunkhead." she purred, leaving the room and brushing her tail against Todd's face in a teasing manner. Exiting the Sorority house, she began searching for Windy.

Chase trotted around campus. Since his beat down at that party, he was practically reformed. He found the sins of his actions, and regretted them greatly. He no longer was Todd's friends, and had his own group of friends that weren't manipulative, or fake. He spotted Minty talking to Blaze at his door, and had a strange look. 'Isnt she with Windy..?' He decided to head to a library and study, but soon found Windy at a park bench. "Hey, Windy!" He said in a friendly tone.

Saronyx hovered in the air above the Alpha sorority house. He saw Cinder leave, but didn't follow her. He instead set himself down at te nearest tree, leaning against it with his legs crossed. He decided to wait for Todd, his creative mind working up some good scenarios and ideas. Lead him on, believe that Saronyx was on his side. Sure, it was a little cruel, but Saronyx had always been a pony to keep secrets. He would probably have to let Windy in on his schemes, but he would cross that bridge when he got there.

Gardenia was starting to feel stuffed up in her room. The aroma of the flowers she had filled it with  weren't doing much to help her mood, and was starting to feel almost oppressive. She opened her door and walked through the hallways rather aimlessly. She had a glazed over look in her eyes. "perhaps I should just drop out. My presence here has done no good for anypony."

 

Her ears perked up on hearing a familiar voice, Minty's. She didn't quite make out what she had said, but she seemed to be in a pleasant mood. Gardenia saw a door in the hallway ajar, clearly opened in a rush for whatever reason. Despite herself, Gardenia looked in and saw a most odd sight: Blaze, who should've still been fueled up on rage, pinned to the floor by Minty. Gardenia's eyes opened up wide in shock, and then fear. "Minty! Back off him, he's not in the best of moods right now, he could hurt you!"

Minty heard Blaze's voice, and instantly turned around into the room. She tackled him. "Hey, Blaze!" She says happily. "How's my special somepony?" She smiled warmly. "You're sooo adorable." Minty said, her mane strands in her face. She was smiling big, something nopony was ever able to do, since she was always so shy and she was never that happy. Blaze, at the moment, was the only thing that made her smile.

Exiting the Alpha sorority house, Todd looked around. In the distance he heard a squee from what sounded like Minty. Smirking and letting his horn glow momentarily, Todd continued on his way away from the Alpha house, back towards his dorm to bide his time while his plan went into motion. Pausing, a thought hit him. "Huh. If Blaze and Minty are a thing now thanks to my love spell, where does that leave Gardenia? I may score yet with her!" smiling even wider, he trotted away and out of Saro's sight.

A familiar voice made Windy look up from the bench he had been sitting on, thinking. ​"I can't believe I couldn't remember the route to my OWN ROOM! that's just embarrassing.... Wait, that voice, I know him. That's.... Trails!" 

 

Jumping up from the bench and getting into a fighting stance, Windy growled, "What do you want Trails? I mean, you already broke Minty's heart, and your boy Todd tried to rape her and kill me last night, so I'm really NOT in the mood for any bull. How about you just keep walking buddy?!" he said, trying to restrain himself from full on tackling Chase and beating him to a pulp.

Saronyx watches Todd as he trots out of his sight. He would wait a little bit before approaching the stallion, and make him believe be was on his side. It would be pretty unbelievable if he did it now, after what he'd said. If he waited, it would seem like he had time to think on it.

Saronyx lifted himself into the air, satisfied with his plan.

Blaze still had no idea what was going on and had pretty much given up getting her off. "What are you on about! I didn't agree to this!" He took a sniff of the air. "It smells genuine." He tapoed her head and took a sip of love. "And tastes genuine. So why the buck are you so over me all of a sudden?"

Redstorm thought he'd be bored to death, but suddenly the nurse came in.

"How are you, dear? I'm here to tell you that yo can go home now. I gotthe wheelchair ready."

Redstorm was glad to hear the first news, but not so happy for the second ones.

"A... wheelchair? I can walk, you know." He got up and walked to the nurse.

The nurse gasped.

"Stay here, I'm going to bring the wheelchair!" She ran off.

When the nurse came back, Redstorm had already given up.

"Alright, I'll sit then."

"Get well soon!" The nurse said as Redstorm got out of the hospital.

Redstorm smiled fakely and as soon the nurse turned her back, he got up from the wheelchair and walked back to campus.
