Nocturne walked along the streets of Ponyville. She saw somepony walking, a nervous expression on their face. She stopped the mare and asked, "Hello, where might I find the nearest hotel?"

The pony's expression changed at the sound of Nocturne's voice. Still concerned, but much more relaxed. She pointed the way she had come. Nocturne nodded in thanks and started trotting away. She saw the pony shake her head violently out of the corner of her eye.

 

After a few minutes of walking, she came across a small group of ponies that were talking. Something seemed off about them. She trotted over, somewhat curious.

"Hello. I am Nocturne, I am a nomad, and decided to stop in Ponyville for a few days. I noticed that something was off about your... group and came to find out."

((By the way Nocturne is half siren half unicorn, her horn's broken. her coat is dark purple, her mane and tail are two shades of blue, her eyes are red-orange, and I'll have her page up soon so it's less confusing but basically her voice is very singsong and hypnotic, because of her siren half, but only purebred ponies are affected. But it's still possible for halfies and full monsters to hear the eerie, singsong quality.))

Rain Chaser frowned not really understanding the other ponies' fears. But she nodded anyway. She figured their experiences in ponyville were different from hers. Even though she wasn't very liked and every pony avoided interacting with her, she had never been threatened with the thought of the royal guards. Then again, she was a ghost so there wasn't much they could do to her.

 

She glanced up when a odd looking purple unicorn approached them. At leas she thought, she was a unicorn. Rain Chaser had never seen a pony with a broken horn before. Normally she would greet the newcomer, but she with Repsol and Darkshift's earlier remarks she wondered if this pony was one of the dangers.

"Welcome, Nocturne," Spidey greeted. He looked around the surrounding area. The sun was going down and the ponies of Ponyville all nervously looked outside their windows, with lights still on, staring at the monsters. The colt figured they were waiting for them to leave their town; the monsters would have to leave soon, or the citizens might call the local military.

"I don't think those ponies can sleep with us here.... Isn't there an old castle in the Everfree we could go?" Dr. Grayburn asked Repsol.

"yeah i passed it maybe a day ago, it was in really bad shape though..." repsol awnsered.

 

"i guess we could go there, but i don't know if there will be any manticores or stuff around. they usually stay clear of me because they can't eat me, you pony's on the other hand..." 

he looked around the group of monsters,his brow sporting a concerned frown.

 

"anyway, standing here isn't really an option..."

Epic Rainbow giggled as soon as Repsol said about them probably being eaten by manticores and stuff. Epic smiled and said, "Please, I'll probably drain their blood before they can harm anypony!" She quickly added, "I mainly eat small animals like rats and stuff, but when I'm really hungry I'll fly into the Everfree and eat a manticore or something. I would never eat or bite anypony, though." Epic then noticed to newcomer and warmly welcomed her. "I'm Epic Rainbow," she said. "Come on everypony, we better get going to that castle in the Everfree; it's getting dark out."

Seeing the other ponies greet the newcomer, she smiled and waved awkwardly. "I'm Rain Chaser, I'm a ghost if you hadn't noticed." she smiled a bit and nodded in agreement at going to the castle. "I mainly hang around Ponyville or sit on my rain cloud, so I've never really entered the Everfree forest." she stated, a bit hesitant on entering said area now. She quickly shook any fearful thoughts away, because what was the worst that could happen to her? She was already dead!

"A ghost? How interesting. I'm half siren myself. Surely you've noticed the song like quality in my voice? It usually has a bit of hypnotic quality, given the fact that I'm part siren, but it doesn't seem to be affecting the lot of you."

Spidey raced off towards the Everfree before the siren even said a thing. It was his first time in the mysterious forest, and being a werepony, he'd fit right in. The young colt nearly forgot about the group, and glanced back. He figured they could talk and such on their way there. Dr. Grayburn scraped the earth with a hoof, before taking off once more and disappearing into the bushes. He didn't really seem to care, just kept going until he was at the edge of the forest and nearby a pretty little cottage. 

 

Inside the cottage, a pretty little filly slept dreamily. She had a long, tough day of goose chases, yardwork, and other chores to do. 

 

(wanna introduce Fluttershy into the his scene while all the other monsters catch up :3 ? Er, I'd like to play her for a little. Hey, maybe one of ya'll ponies could have a romance w/her. Sorry, just randomly thought up this plot, since she does live by the Everfree and she's so good with animals.)

as the group tried to catch up with the remarkably fast wherepony, repsol fell behind.

"hey! can we just.. you know, maybe go a little slower? having 3 legs doesn't make running all that easy you know." repsol said, looking down at the stump that once was his leg.

as much as this pained him, he kept it from showing. speed used to be his life, he did everything with great speed. but now.. now he couldn't even handle a simple gallop anymore.

Not far from where the group was, a zombie sat on a rock, making a deep moaning noise that sounded like crying. The zombie, whose name was Renegade, had lived in the Everfree ever since he'd caught the virus that made him like this. He rarely came out of the forest, but when he did, everyone ran away. “ WHY CAN'T THEY JUST ACCEPT ME FOR WHAT I AM?“ he yelled at the top of his lungs.

Epic Rainbow turned around, startled at the sound of a stallion screaming at the top of his lungs. A bunch of birds flew out of the Everfree Forest, obviously scared by the screaming. Epic flew over to where the screaming had come from to see a handsome unicorn zompony sitting on a rock, apparently sad. She went up to him and said, "Hi, there. I'm Epic Rainbow. What's your name?" She smiled at him.

"“Renegade,” the zombie replied. “But you can call me Hideous Brain-Eating Zombie Monster, because that's all I'll ever be to you ponies: a hideous abomination who deserves to die.” Renegade didn't even turn to look at Epic Rainbow. “You probably want me dead, too, huh?” he asked her.

Dr. Grayburn's pupils shrunk significantly. Becoming tiny, round spheres shifting up-and-down, left-and-right. He squeaked, hiding within a bush, his long legs shaking in freight. Gently placing a hoof on a branch to see who made the dreadful scream, the green colt spotted the lone zompony resting in despair on top of a rock. The colt's ears perked as he saw Epic Rainbow arrive, soothing and merciful towards the new-comer. 

 

With his tail between his legs, the young werepony stepped out from the nightshade bush. Spidey crept close to the ground, straightening when he realized the zompony was just a friend in need. 

 

"I-If anyone's hideous, it's me," he murmured. "All f-full of fur and creepy eyes and fangs when I turn to meh true form. At leas-st you're just a regular dead pony, I'm just a timber wolf waiting to pre-ey on ponies," Dr. Grayburn sighed. "And that didn't stop me from esc-escapin' 'fore th-they c-could....," the colt trailed off before shaking his head vigorously to forget, "I'm s-sorry you feel that way, but we have a group of monsters with us, too. One is even a zompony. I'm Dr. Grayburn, but most call me Spidey..." The young colt gave a small, reassuring smile.

Nocturne trotted up to the aggravated stallion. 

"Hello, sir. I see you're quite aggravated. We won't run. You seem to have overlooked the fact that we aren't normal ponies either, as this young colt- I apologize, I didn't get your name- stated. Perhaps you'd like to join us? Though I'm in no position to offer, this group has already accepted another zompony, so I doubt they'd refuse to let you join."

"My name is Renegade," the unicorn said. " And I will join your group, but only so I can find a cure for this virus. Once I do that, I can finally be accepted into normal society again." The zompony got up and moved closer towards the group. Oddly enough, he actually smiled. Most of his teeth had rotted, though, and all that was left were two vampony-like fangs.

Epic Rainbow's eyes widened and she giggled. "Dead," she replied to Renegade. "Why in the name of Celestia would I want you dead? If you'd look at me you'd realize we're outcasts as well. In fact, those of us who aren't already dead- or undead- are wanted dead! I'm a vampony, myself; I'm undead! I'm also pretty much immortal. Do you want to join us on our journey to find where we belong?"

"wow another zompony! i'm zompony too if you hadn't noticed already, how did you catch the virus?" repsol tried.

"oh i'm sorry, you must not have been zompony for as long as i've been, when did it happen to you?"

"It's been so long...I can't even remember." Renegade replied. He then turned to Epic Rainbow and hugged her. For the first time in a long while, the zombie felt a warm...feeling inside? What was it? Was it temporary or permanent? Where did it come from? Renegade had so many questions.

Darkshift noticed all the magical pony creatures heading towards,then chatting to a zompony "Great,more of us"Darkshift sarcastically whispered to himself.Darkshift scoped his surroundings before approaching the zompony and the rest of the 'crew'.

Renegade's hug caught Epic Rainbow by complete surprise. Her first instinct was to bite, but she only hissed and then hugged him back. Epic Rainbow was...in love! She had had a boyfriend before, but that was before she was a vampony. When Ultimate found out Epic was a vampony, he got super scared and broke up with her, kicking her out of his apartment. Epic was truly in love with Renegade! She hugged him so tight, that her vampony super strength almost strangled him. When she realized what she was doing to him, she quickly let go. "Sorry, Renegade," Epic said, embarrassed. "My vampony super strength got the best of me."

"That's OK." Renegade said as he kised her. Renegade had something on his mind. " I have a question. when I hugged you, I got this warm feeling inside me. What is that and where does it come from?" Renegade asked, curious. And why did he kiss her? He'd just met her! Renegade waited for the mare's answer to his question. He was patient, so he waited.

Spidey's ears flickered nervously, noticing the new-found love Epic Rainbow and Renegade suddenly possessed. Jeez, they sure get along well...

 

His attention were quickly captured by Darkshift's standoffish regard towards the two lovebirds. With a steady trot, the colt swiftly made his way to the fellow werepony, glancing up with wide-eyed wonder. He was quite the child, yet could only feel slight fear and awe towards the mysterious werepony. 

 

"Hai, Darkshift," Dr. Grayburn grinned, eager to impress, "Whatcha think of us monsters bein' in one place? We could call ourselves, uh, the... the Les Miserables, or the Disharmonic, or...," the pony tapped his hoof to his chin, then quickly thought of a long-awaited question he'd always wondered about his species, "Hey, do you transform on the full moon, or is that just some old mare's tale?"

Epic Rainbow answered, "That warm feeling inside of you was probably love. It comes from not your heart, as some ponies think, but your emotional gland in your brain. I'm...I'm a bit of a scientist..." Epic Rainbow looked at the ground and shuffled her hooves. He's really...sweet..and a great stallion," she thought.

Renegade looked at Epic Rainbow. "You're really beautiful, you know that?" he said. She was nice and sweet, but Renegade still didn't understand what love was. Had he become THAT detached from his former self? As the zombie pondered this, he kissed Epic Rainbow. Again.

ic: Epic blushed. Then she was caught by surprise as Renegade once again kissed her. Epic hugged Renegade and snuggled him briefly. She then got up and said, "Alright, everypony, we better get a move on."
