What secondary character in MLP:FiM would you like to appear more?

I personally would like to see Big Macintosh a little more. I also would like for him to say stuff besides "eeyup" and "nope". But, he did speak a real sentence that one time, when he told the CMC to go away.

I don't know if pets count, but I'd LOVE to see more of Tank in the show.  He's just the cutest tortoise ever! 

 

As for pony characters, I wouldn't mind seeing more of Cheerilee, especially away from the classroom.

Cherilee was out of the classroom a few times, but she did a major role outside in "Hearts and Hooves Day". And yes, pets count. I think the pet that gets the most parts is Angel, and the one that gets the least parts is probably Winona. So, I'm hoping they show Winona a little more.

EDIT: Yes, more Winona. She's cute, helpful, and a loving member of the Apple Family. Definitely the most under-represented of the pets.

I'd really like to see more episodes with Spitfire, Octavia and Vinyl Scratch in them. Especially Octavia. When I first joined the fandom, I saw her everywhere and I expected her to be a major character in the show and she ended up appearing in a few scenes. I'd also like to see a lot more Luna-based episodes, though I don't know if she's considered a secondary character.

I think it would be better if Big Mac talked more because, I don't

think I have ever heard him say one sentence in Mlp.

 

It would be cool if Trixie  had more screen time on the episodes

not showing off her "magic". I also think it would be cool if like

Trixie and Twilight Sparkle got to be friends and stuff.

 

I'm not saying this is a good idea but, I was thinking if

Doctor was one of the mane ponies crushes kind of like Rarity's

crush Prince, Blueblood. Because, I don't know I just feel like he

should at least be included into Mlp in some way.

 

Derpy Hooves is a must, she needs more screen time. What

a waste it was to make such a crazy character and nearly use

her for anything, she just needs to be included.

 

 

I really think Cheerilee needs to have more screen time, 

away from the classroom. The only real time you see her

is when she's teaching the filly's so I think she just needs to

be seen someplace else.

Lightning Dust because she's the best minor antagonist that the show has ever featured, and as many have pointed out, her story doesn't feel finished yet.

 

Spitfire because Spitfire, no explanation required

 

Zecora because she feels like a good way to expand on the mythology of the show, and I wouldn't be surprised if she had an interesting past.

I'd like to see Zecora definitely get more airtime, as I find her to be one of the more unique characters in the show. There could be an episode based solely on her past, considering she most likely is from Africa, or whatever Equestrian landmass is the equivalent.

Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon. I think they're overdue for some more bullying of the CMC and maybe the writers can take the time to expand their characters a bit while they're at it.

 

Oh, and Lightning Dust. What is she doing now, I wonder. Does she hold some kind of grudge against RD for getting her kicked out or maybe she's got a grudge against all the wonderbolts? I want to know.

Yeah, the creators of MLP:FiM really just used Cadence as a "prop" character this whole time. I mean, we never knew anything about her or even knew that she existed before, and she was really just supposed to be used for the purpose of the royal wedding. They could've atleast given her a few appearances before the royal wedding to show who she was a little bit. It just makes a lot more sense.

First I would like to see more of Luna, Luna as the princess of the night is just as important as Celestia yet she dosen't appear anywhere near as much of course Celestia could use some work too as we have seen little of her outside of her roles as ruler and mentor so I would like to see more of that too as well as more of their relationship. Discord goes without saying because well he is just way too awesome of a now former villain to keep on the bench, Zecora is my favorite non pony character aside from Discord because I find her to be a very interesting character and we don't really know that much in the first place.

 

I would also like to see more of Bab's Seed as though Sweetie Belle is my favorite CMC I think that Bab's Seed has a lot of potential as a character. While we are still on the subject of the Apple family a bit more of Big Macintosh and Braeburn would be pretty awesome as well and the Apple family in general has a nice way of complimenting Applejack's character and Apple Family Reunion was a great example of this.

I would love to see more of the Wonderbolts, especially Spitfire and Soarin. Even though we were given insight into their organization in Wonderbolts Academy, it only whet my appetite for future appearances. I like how the episode developed Spitfire's character. It would be great to see more of that. 

 

Fancy pants is a great character, too. He was a nice break from the snobby upper class we're used to seeing in fiction. I'd like to see more of his interactions with Rarity. He's a great character, and I'd love to see him get some development. It would also be nice to learn more about Equestria's society through him.

Yes, he does seem to bring out the best in Rarity that is one thing I have started to notice especially because I did re watch Sweet and Elite earlier today. He hangs out with a lot of upper class ponies many of them very snobby but even though he as his name implies is into the "finer things" he hasn't let it turn him into a snob. Rarity is the mane 6 character that is in the most need of character development and has a great deal of potential and bit more interaction with Fancy Pants seems like one good way to go about it.

 This right here. I feel exactly the same way, especially about Discord. Discord is best dragon-goat-pony-monster.

 

 Another character that I feel deserves more screen time is Twist. I don't quite know why. I'm not even a big fan of Twist. I just think they shouldn't make a pony a relatively important character in one episode and then totally forget about them. Pipsqueak and Feather Weight are in the same vein as Twist here. Then there's Twilight and Shining Armor's parents. They've been shown a few times (such as in the coronation or when Twilight took her test and hatched Spike), but have yet to have a single speaking role despite their relation to a major character and a fairly important secondary character.

 

 The only other two characters I can think of that deserve more screen time that haven't already been mentioned and elaborated on are the orange-bird and Tom. I mean, you can't just turn a bird into an orange and have it disappear into the ether! That bird is probably going to die, and Fluttershy will be all depressed, and that wouldn't be good at all. As for Tom... well, he's a giant rock named Tom. Do I even need a reason?

From a fan standpoint, I would love to see any of the hipster six (Derpy, Doctor Hooves, Bon Bon, Lyra, Octavia, DJ Pon3) get lines and/or back story.

 

From a story-building standpoint, Cheerilee and Big Mac are my top two who need more back story and screen time in general. And Discord definitely needs to make at least one more appearance, because we really need to know why Celestia wanted to reform him.

Because that's how damn good this show is. Though really if you had to make me narrow it down, the list would include Zecora and her baller rhymes, Cranky Doodle Donkey, Trixie, and Gilda.

 

And no don't you even suggest that the Princess of the Night is a background character. Hasbro and all know the fans' sentiments on that myth:

 

 

That goes double for you Cadence. This background alicorn myth thou speakst of is pure insolence. Let it never be uttered again in her presence.

As for secondary characters, I like what I've seen of Cheerilee and would like to see more.
