I understand the busy feeling. I'm feeling it now. As I type, this will be only one of two one hour breaks I take from MCAT studying per day. And when I have summer jobs, I'll only be able to take one probably. 

 

I just came up with something for that cheesy rock ballad you guys could do!!! When you introduce yourself into the roleplay, start singing loudly about your racing life and relaxing from it! It'll be HILARIOUS!

The theme song was to be used when the islanders get to leave the abandoned island after getting shipwrecked. So it doesn't introduce the musical like it does introducing the characters, but it's the song everyone will associate the roleplay with.

Hmmph. I'll have to try and see how we could slide it in with his intro. Just a racer trying to relax doesn't really fit the cheesy themes of most 80s rock ballads anyway, so I'm having a hard time working with it right now. But then again your idea just came about not even five minutes ago. lol

Make it happen. 80s rock ballad sung by Red Talon to either Coeur or Neon Strobe. Perfect genre for Red's style/personality.

 

I guess it wouldn't fit my established personality. Nevertheless, if such a collaboration is undertaken, I could at least help with the lyrics and I would especially love to sing in it if I can get my recording equipment to work.

Now that I think of it, maybe we could do something down the lines of Boston if he's gonna sing about how he wants to relax and all.

The second one (Something About You) is a personal favorite of mine from Boston. But yeah, I'm starting to think a parody down the lines of Boston's "chill rock" style might fit a lot better than a Whitesnake song about a hopeless romantic. Chill rock. Did I just make that up?

 

And for the song about Coeur, I was thinking down the lines of a combination of these two:

The second one has a waltzy, romantic feel to it, as well as a pretty cool string/sitar/whatever part around the 1:07 mark.

Yeah, perhaps you could have a part in it, too. But if we're gonna take Sterling's idea, we'll probably do some kind of a Boston parody/ripoff, as seen in my post here.

I just found out that MCAT doesn't have any test centers available in Ontario throughout the whole summer. Because of that, I'm taking the MCAT exam on September 11 in Nova Scotia, so I can still be decently active when I take my breaks between my studying!

If by Fluttershy, you mean greater than 10 (in my book, Fluttershy is anyway!), then I'd give their OC's the rank of Fluttershy! You can meet them whenever you like, as they're now approved to join the roleplay!

 

This shall be my last post for a while. Tommorrow, I leave on a great expedition. The road will be long and treacherous, as I journey to Mount Doom... I mean the Lake District, and then on to France. I'll be back by July 14th, and the roleplay will begin soon after that. Until then, chat about you ideas for the roleplay/ musical fanfic, and I'll be writing the rest of the fanfic in sunny France! Yeah, I hate having me name out in public as well... Which is why it took years before I dared touch much upon this Facebook-thing...

Sterling and I were talking about roleplaying, and I mentioned wanting to get back into it. He suggested this one to me, so here I am.
