Trotting out with the group to the camp, starting to squee with joy and a red blush starts to appear on her cheeks.

Minty squee'd when she saw Blaze trot out with blushing cheeks. "So, how was the kiss? Was it heated or regular? How long was it? Did you like it or not? Do you like Impetus? Did you want to kiss him?" Minty asked, exploding with questions.

"Is everypony back to normal now?" He asked. with his hooves cross across his chest. 

 

"I'm worried about Lyona. and where is that useless... I... I mean... where is that red maned new comer. Did anyone catch his name? We need to re group. Everypony fall in lets get back to camp take care of our injured. Fireblaze, wipe that silly grin off your face. Impetus... well done my friend"

 

Silver Note gave Impetus a giant Brohoof! 

 

"We all have to make sacrifices for the team" he said as an aside.

Blaze looks over at Minty squeeing, after she just kissed Impetus in the underground fighting arena. '' This was regular but, it did feel a bit hot since I am called Fireblaze after all. It was about 10 minutes long, I guess I liked it only a little. I don't want to kiss him again.''

Hiding her blushing with a black cloth that she found in the arena. '' Maybe, I could be able to locate the newcomer that was with you guys.'' Aiming her horn at the sky, trying to pinpoint the location of the newcomer from here.

 

'' He must be somewhere in the camp, where you guys were previously while trying to save me and Minty.'' Starting to feel a bit worried.

Minty then noticed that she may have the small, small, smallest liking for Silver.

This was the most he'd ever been hugged in his life! what w s with everypony?

 

"Uhh ummm... " Silver spluttered nervously. His voice shaking in vibrato that he usually reserved for singing. "Minty you take care of that bunny, I'll scout around for more injured wildlife." Silver Note shook his silver mane. Was something in the air? He gazed up at the twinkling stars a moment. It was twilight, and it was sparkling... but no harmony in this night at all.

 

Silver trotted forward, and paused. His keen hearing picked up a slight buzzing noise. What was that? Then he spotted it. a tiny little yellow ball with wings and two large soulful eyes blinking at him innocently. One of the tiny wings was injured. It smiles up at him helplessly but with a very friendly look on it's poor defenseless little face.

 

"Oh it's so adorable and cute and all aloooooooone. It Needs my help!" said Silver, scouping up the little creature and giving it a hug.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

"It's ok little guy.. Silver Note will take good care of you." He hid the winged creature in his mane and trotted off, seeking out more animals to help and hoping he'd find some of the other ponies too.

Bright. It was so, so bright. But... it was peaceful.

 

Lyona slowly opened her eyes, the light forced her to shut them again. She tried again, squinting.

 

She felt something tap her shoulder. Her eyes shot open, and then she backed away in fright.

 

A black, hooded equine figure looked down at her, radiating darkness. It's eyes were empty black holes, if one would come too close they would be sucked in.

 

-Come with me.- The figure said simply, before starting to walk off into the distance.

 

" Where am I? Am I... dead?" Lyona slowly stood up. 

 

The figure looked back. "Yes." It said, in a somber tone.

 

Lyona shook her head. " No! I'm not dead! I will not follow you, I going back!" She ran into the other direction as fast as she could, heart beating wildly. She had not noticed before, but behind her was darkness. Mind-numbing darkness. Still, she pressed on.

 

-I am not going to abandon my friends with something so simple as death. Not now, not ever.-

 

The figure was left behind in the light. " Foolish mortal. You will encounter-"

 

" I don't caaare!!" Lyona yelled. Finally, she had reached a wall. It felt weak, as if it could be broken.

 

Lyona bucked it a couple of times, and it shattered. The pegasus ran through, gritting her teeth. She felt a sudden, sharp pain in her leg, and her wings felt heavy. It was a stark contrast to how painless and light she was before.

 

-Yes! I'm become conscio-- And then, Lyona blacked out. But the pain in her leg was still there, feeling worse and worse.

Redwave came crashing into the clearing, sabre drawn. He stumbled right up to Minty and Silver without stopping to acknowledge anything else in the camp, driving the sword into the ground beside him.

 

"You... You saved her? My thanks, perhaps I may have been mistaken about you."

Cinder stumbled groggily back to her hooves: which supported her almost without shaking now. She still felt tired - as if she had taken a blow to the head.

 

As she staggered towards her companions, she dropped to the ground again. Pushing herself back to her hooves, she looked up, her unfocused eyes grew wide with hope, almost ecstatic joy as she looked towards the group.

 

"Sc... Scribe...? she struggled go say, choking on her words in disbelief, beaming at what looked like her closest friend.

 

Diving past Silver she threw her hooves around Redwaves neck.

 

"Scribe! I've missed you SO much! Its been awful but now that your here... What are you... What are...? she noticed the red mane. The lack of a horn.

 

Flushing a deep crimson in her error, she disengaged herself from the newcomer.

 

"... Sorry... " she blushed. "You look like somepony I know..."

Silver Note blinked at her... Oh is that all He thought relieved that she didn't know bout his new little friend. He thought he might call her flutterby, since it looked like fluttershy and it flutters by.

 

"Oh I see" He said nodding his head. You two really only just met. "Well don't look at me Minty, Not like I'm a matchmaker or anything." he said grinning as he remembered Fireblaze and Impetus."You really should write to Dear Appy on matters of the heart. I herd  heard she's really good at that sort of thing... Not that I read at all, but my mother use to read the column aloud to my sisters by the cloudside back in Cloudsdale. Don't worry Minty, your secret is safe with me!"

 

Silver was completely oblivious to any feelings that may have been stirring in Minty. He was blissfully ignorant about the ways and means of mares and not too savvy on matters of the heart in general. He didn't notice in the slightest the twinkle in her eye when she looked at him.

 

"Minty! By the sisters grace you're ok!

Silver stood awkwardly by, shifting from hoof to hoof as the red maned pony came crashingback on the scene.

 

"I won't tell him" he reassured Minty in a whisper.

 

"Just doing my duty as a member of the Royal Guard". Silver said to Redwave trying to appear noncholant.

Silver gawked as he watched Cinder embrace Redwave. 

 

Sure it was obviously mistake identity, but who was this Scribe Cinder kept going on and on about. She's in love with somepony named Scribe. He thought miserably to himself. He wasn't one for breaking up couples. "I'll just have to try and get my mind off of her." He decided. "Perhaps somepony else is out there is for me... or perhaps I'm destined to remain ... alone..."

The pegasus then looked around, to see everypony chatting happily. She sighed in relief, a smile on her face.

 

- Everybody's safe.- She smiled again, but then a sharp jolt of pain turned her attention to her leg. It was twisted at a rather strange angle. 

 

-It looks dislocated, but I'm no expert...- She looked away.

"Aha, It would appear that your companion awakens!" The jaunty duelist observed, slipping away to Lyonas side.

 

"Redwave, Madame. I was sent here to find you and yours."

 

He made no effort to explain himself any further. He looked down at the leg which seemed to be holding her attention.

 

"I can assist, though it may hurt a little. My apologies.
