"Nothing more than my pride I assure you. Do not fret." Redwave hung his head. "I failed and now..."

 

Now they were trapped because of his own incompetence.

 

"What about yourself? How are you feeling?"

 

He tried to stand and winced: without the adrenalin pumping through him he felt terribly weak where the deep grooves had dug into him: particularly his hind leg. Instead of simply collapsing he sunk to a sitting position: he was fine, causing a panic wouldn't help matters.

Minty looked at Redwave with a scared look. "A-are you sure?" Minty said, biting her hoof out of nervousness. She saw that Redwave was sitting in a rather strange position, so she knew something was up. "We need to get out.." She said, jamming her hoof into the iron bars. "Ow.." She whimpered, then trotted back to the corner of the dungeon and cried silently.

I hope he doesn't do much to us. He's going to kill us anyway.." She sighed. "I hope Redwave is okay."

 

    Gmork over heard Minty's words and snarled at her.

"Kill you? Perhaps, but not in the way you think. I have much more in mind than that."  He seemed quite satisfied at her apparent fear. Almost as if he were feeding off of it with delight.

 

 

 

Minty trotted over to Redwave. "Th-thank goodness you're okay!" Minty said, hugging Redwave tightly. "Are you bruised? Are you hurt?" Minty said, looking at his hoof and all of his body. "Please tell me you're okay!" Minty said frantically. She was now completely oblivious to her own injuries: the lingering scar on her back.

 

 

His satisfaction quickly turned to a wince, almost as if Minty's words were causing him some kind of pain.

 

"Separate these two!" He ordered his  timberwolves.

 

He addressed two timberwolves "Find the last one and bring him to me" He told them. The two wolves obeyed  immediately.

 

"Do you really think that killing you miserable lot would be enough?" Gmork growled at the small group. "Equestria, means nothing to me. I have a much bigger and more powerful kingdom in mind."

 

 Gmork stalked over the stairs and ascended them looming over the group menacingly he said.

 

"I want the Brony fandom!"

 

 "You're crazy!" Silver cried out from where he was chained. "Bronies don't even exist! They are just an old ponytail we tell our foals to make them behave!"

 

   "Oh but you're wrong." Gmork growled. "My dear little ponies did you really think that this place was the ONLY place that existed? There are other realms... other dimensions, alternate universes. Isn't that right Fireblaze?" He said his teeth bared at the little white mare. "She's been there, though she doesn't realize it. Crazy mare you all say? Well maybe all that she has told you... was the truth!"

 

"And what about this one?" He said, descending the stair towards the frightened Derpy Hooves. "The bronies favorite... You will be the first one I will eradicate! Already I've planted thoughts into the minds of brony haters, They will find your name and  the very words you say offensive. All my doing... consider yourself censored, mail mare!"

 

A dark mist began to form beside Gmork, it turned into what appeared to be a giant eraser which began  erasing Derpy's outlines!

 

 

"Oh no!" Derpy said helplessly. "It's not my fault... I just don't know what went wrong...Somepony help me! Please help meeeeeeeeeeee Doctor!!!"

 

As Derpy continued to cry out... Gmork turned to the others.

 

"Once every pony in Equestria is erased, The bronies will all bow down and worship me instead! *I* will be the topic of all their fanfics, music dubs and deviant arts. Once I go viral across the internet I will have the power to control the minds and hearts of every human being... then the world... Will be mine!"

 

Gmork laughed a long and evil laugh which echoed eerily through the ruins.

 

((OK you guys have plenty to think about. I've hurt my right shoulder so been hard to type but will try to keep up.))

Lyona's mind was racing. She had no idea what to do, and most of them were captured and injured. This Gmork had just revealed his plan, and she wasn't sure if they could do anything. And right now, Derpy was seemingly being erased from existence.

 

" You can try to erase her from the world, but you can't erase her from our hearts and minds. Fight against it, Ditzy! Remember everything you've done! All the adventures, your family! Think of Dinky and Sparkler, what will they do if their mother is gone?" Lyona called out. She then looked at Gmork in the eye.

 

" Nothing's powerful enough to erase friendship and love, even you. Those so-called 'bronies' know that. "

'' Well I'd better try to get out of these chains, so I can go find some assistance from the outside world.'' Burning the chain off, with the magic from her horn. Running out of the castle, retreating to the outside wall of the castle. '' I'd better get some help from our fans, known as the bronies. So, time to break the fourth wall.'' Opening a portal, going into the real world of bronies. Trotting into the world, looking for some help. '' You there! Will you help me try to help Derpy?'' The human looks at her. '' Sure, take me to Equestria!'' He puts his hand on her hoof. '' Hold on!..'' Transporting us back to Equestria, taking us to where Lyona is. '' I got us some help.''

"You're the one who brought us together, foal!" Cinder said as she rolled her eyes. "None of us are alone any more! You can't hurt us!"

 

'I hope your right Lyona...' She thought.

 

"The first one to touch her shall not live to regret it." Glared Redwave at Gmork's order regarding him and Minty. "Do not push me, hound. I am in a foul mood at this moment."

'' You will not get away with this, Gmork! Luckily I brought some help, while you were busy with the others. I had a backup plan ready, and besides you chained up a magical copy/clone of myself. So I brought the Batmobile and a brony to assist us.'' Looking at the guards, shooting them into the wall. Locking the chains behind them, locking their wrists to the wall. Jumping in the Batmobile, driving the mobile across the chains. Turning on the chain cutter, cutting the chains off the others. '' Your free!''

 Gmork winced and cried out like a puppy in pain at her words.

 

"YOU LIE!" he screamed as if in agony. He cringed covering his ears with his forepaws. "There is no love!"

 

He was about to attack Lyona when there was  strange flash of light, momentarily blinding the Dire Wolf

 Silver gawked at Fireblaze. "Batmobile? What's she talking about?" Silver Note thought. "All I see is her and some strange creature without fur that walks on it's back hooves... could this be... a brony? Silver watched as Fireblaze trotted in circles as if she was operating an invisible vehicle. She always a bit strange he thought.

 

Silver Note fought against his chains and then turned his attention back towards the brony.  "If you really are a brony...then you need to Save Derpy! Go back to your realm.. .rally the bronies and start a huge campaign! You have to save her!!! Please."

 

 Gmork growled at Silver. "Silence you insolent fool!" He clawed Silver across the face causing a nasty gash to appear. Silver screamed in pain as red droplets appeared on his cheek.

 

While Gmork was distracted with punishing Silver, the brony approached and grabbed what was left of Derpy Hooves in his arms.

 

"I'll take care of this and bring her back to you, I promise" said the Brony. "Don't worry Derpy, we'll save you" He said. "I'll take you to some friends of mine at Alligator Tub Productons they will know what to do."

 

The brony turned to Fireblaze

 

@@Scootalove, "Send me back, ummmm..." He glanced at Fireblaze... not recognizing her "ur random background pony!"

 

 

Not long after he disappeared in a blinding flash of light, a video went viral on the internet.

"You're the one who brought us together, foal!" Cinder said as she rolled her eyes. "None of us are alone any more! You can't hurt us!" 'I hope your right Lyona...' She thought.

 

Gmork turned on Cinderblock angrily

 

"Says YOU who can't even admit that she needs others at all... " His voice rose to a menacing level that would strike fear into the bravest hero. He approached her slowly. "What's the matter Cinderblock... too afraid to be all alone"

 

 

 "Leave her alone Gmork!" Silver cried out. He ignored the pain in his cheek and fought the chain but couldn't get lose. He just couldn't let this foe hurt the mare of his dreams.

 

"Cinder.... " Silver said, his eyes filling with tears. "Please forgive how I acted... the potion effected my encouragement and gift of lo...." could he say it? Yes...I can say it. he decided. "gift of love..." then  a sudden boldness filled him and he cried out. "I love you Cinderblock."

 

 

Gmork spun around with a violent scream he cringed and winced as if the very words stung his heart, then flew across the room at a fast lope towards Silver Note.

 

"I'll finish you!" he threated in a loud roar.

"You... You... What?!"

 

Cinder shuddered: differently to before: warmth spreading through her instead if the icy chill.

 

"You'll have to go through me first." She declared with significantly more confidence than she felt as she dived down next to Silver.

 

"Silver I... I think I love you too." She said, uncertain of exactly what she felt - all that she knew was that there and then, she was going to do whatever she could to protect him - whatever the cost.

  "You're uncertainty betrays you" Gmork growled at Cinder, he turned from Silver and began to advance on her instead.

 

   "No... I won't let you hurt her!" Silver cried out, tears in his eyes. He yanked with all his might at the chain until the bolt holding it broke loose from the wall. Dragging the chain he dived for Gmork and attempted to double barrel kick him but his hooves just went straight through the Dire Wolf. Silver then realized a horrible truth... Gmork could hurt them, but they could not physically hurt him. What defense did they have? "I wish I had my musical instruments" he thought.

 

"Cinder... you've got to run NOW" he shouted at her. "I can't let him erase you"

 

The timber wolves who'd been chained up by Fireblaze all howled and yanked against their chains, unable to do anything to hurt the group.

" Equestria runs on love and friendship. Heck, it was first founded on that! You're just a stranger in a strange land, Gmork. You don't belong here!" Lyona yelled.

 

" If you want to hurt my friends, you have to get through me first." The pegasus then stood up, fire in her eyes. She snapped her wings open.

 

Far in the depths of the Everfree, a set of wing blades tore themselves from the ground. In a matter of seconds, they shot through branches and leaves to then finally arrive on Lyona's wings.

 

" These were made by my father, with great love and care. Let's see how you handle them."

"And I won't let you sacrifice yourself! Not now, not ever! I'm tired of running, from you, from him, from myself!"

 

She breathed heavily, the warmth flooding her body. Heart pounding she rounded on the black wolf.

 

"You think that we can't hurt you? You think that we're helpless, mortals against a creature of magic?"

 

She glared at the spirit beast. As he seemed to struggle to decide who to focus his attention on, Lyona, her or Silver.

 

"You missed one detail... Friendship is Magic! And I will not forsake any one of these ponies. As long as we breath, any one of us is infinitely more powerful than you can ever even hope to be!"

She swung the machete at one of the timberwolves, Landig in its neck in anger.

Redwave had been watching, bleeding and listening to the drivel about live and friendship overcoming evil while he tried to think of an escape that did not involve casualties. At Minty's touch however, all this dissipated. He threw in with the others: for better or for worse.

 

"Typical, the single most important battle of my life and I find myself unarmed..." He spied a number of ancient suits of armour lining the walls and rolled his eyes. Of course, abandoned castle.

 

"Apologies, my good colt, but my need is greater than that of yourself I fear. He said to the empty suit as he wrenched the faded sword from it: still in surprisingly good condition for a thousand years old...

((Alright. That was an interesting turn of events. Brony fandom... giant erasers... WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING, MIKE! ))

 

Impetus stares at the Gmork from inside the castle. He blinks a few times. He rolls his eyes. "Whatever." he says, strapping a lance from an armor suit to himself, pawing at the ground and preparing to charge at the Gmork and his minions.

Minty blushed fiercely. "I--um, thank you," Minty smiled. She quickly snapped out of it, however, and regained her consciousness about the situation. "You're never going to get away with this, Gmork!" She said, still remaining beside Redwave.

Red flourished the antique blade experimentally - It seemed sturdy enough: almost as if it wasn't older than he could trace his family history. He smirked in spite of his wounds, adrenalin sustaining him as it pumped through his veins.

 

He faced down the Timber wolves which stood just out of reach snarling as they awaited orders. Gmork was the real threat but these wolves would tear them apart in a 'fair' fight without being dealt with. "Not one of these wooden monstrosities shall interfere, I swear it!"

  "If you really think so, who am I to destroy your illusions?" Gmork growled as he faded into just a shadow, half in and half out of Equestria. "No weapon can harm me in this state, and no magical attacks. Do your worst ponies."

 

 

 

Minty frowned in tears. "Please don't separate us!" She cried in dismay. She soon got sick of Gmork's act. "You can't push us around..!" Minty shouted. Gmork flinched as the two kissed, his image fading back into full view for just a moment before he faded back out again.

 

"Can't I!" he growled angrily before pushing Minty across the ruin floor roughly, he stalked after her angrily. "I can do what ever I want"

Lyona narrowed her eyes thoughtfully. She had seen Gmork fade for a few seconds when Minty and Redwave had kissed. Any bonds, be it friendship or romantic, affects him! She realized. 

 

" We've already beaten you, Gmork." Lyona smiled. " For the fire of friendship lives in our hearts, and it'll sure as heck be the end of you."

Seething at the response. At the attack on Minty. On the situation in general but most of all, on being brushed off by the reality warper, Red glanced around.

 

Spying the remains of what was most likely a statue he grasped a chunk of stone and hurled it at the flickering wolf in an most unsporting fashion.

 

"Wrong answer." He shouted, not quite sure what he was trying to achieve.

 

 

@@LittleRawr,

 

"I... Uh... What's happening?" Cinder uneasily wondered aloud as the creature seemed to shift in and out of reality.

 

"It's... He's... Somethings weakening him, somehow." She declared, swaying slightly as she kept her hooves planted firmly on the ground despite her starting to feel light headed from the bleeding. "Try hitting him with something! Or... something like that..."

Lyona replied, her mind racing. What was that story again? It mentioned something about being able to use the power of friendship and love... 

 

An idea struck Lyona. "Everypony, think of what the group means to you." She called out, her voice echoing in the ruined palace. I hope that our bonds are strong enough...

'' Don't worry our bonds are strong enough to defeat this foe. So, we have to use the power of friendship to defeat him!'' Fireblaze thinks about the good times she had with the group, the friendship and love started to sink in. My friends.. with friendship we can defeat him...

Slowly, a pink-red aura began to form over Fireblaze. It took the form of a heart, and grew more and more solid the harder she thought.

 

Lyona beamed. It's working! Yes!

Over Impetus' head, the aura was extremely faint and flickered. No! C'mon, he must have some good memories...
