'' Nice to meet you Derpy.'' Shaking her hoof, walking with the group very silently. '' So Minty is discorded again, and now Silver Note is being captured. I missed out on so many things while I was hunting for some animals earlier. I just hope we are okay for now.''

"Good to see you again 'Blaze! I thought we had lost everyone somehow..." 

 

"Inedeed, is this everypony? You have no more allies hiding in the trees?" Redwave smirked. "Because if any of you know where we might find an Ursa or a Dragon willing to assist, now would be the time to inform us."

 

Sarcasm was a good way to deal with situations like this: it kept moral up. Well, it kept Red's morale up anyway.

An Ursa or Dragon she was not... but the little parasprite knew where Silver was... she buzzed around Redwave's head then flew in the direction Gmork had moved. When he didn't follow, she went back and buzzed urgently at him then flew away again. She stopped and looked back at the group, buzzing her wings at them frantically.

 

 "Ummmm I think it wants you to follow it" Derpy said.

"Now? Begone pest..." Redwave muttered as the parasprite hassled him.

 
"Red, thats one of the parasprites that Silver... apparently failed to lose!" Cinder pointed. "Back before the mirror pool""
 
Redwave watched the tiny creature for a moment, struggling to resist the temptation to swat it out of the air.

 

"Follow you?" He said to the tiny creature before rolling his eyes and muttering "Why is this not the most stupid thing I have ever done? Okay, okay, I will follow it,."

Impetus rolls his eyes. "If you're sure this is such a good idea, let's go follow the insect. Maybe it'll lead us to a place for insane ponies, which we are."

 

Nevertheless, despite his grudging complaints, Impetus falls into step behind the Parasprite, hoping for the best.

 "It's almost impossible to lose a parasprite once you befriend it" Derpy told her. "You need magic for that. Maybe it's a good thing that it's found him again. They are pests.. but they don't mean to be at all. They just want to be your friend. You can't ever judge somepony by appearances you know. There is often so much more on the INSIDE than there is on the outside." she started thinking of the TARDIS and missing the Doctor. 

 

She heaved a big sigh.

 

 

 

Impetus rolls his eyes. "If you're sure this is such a good idea, let's go follow the insect. Maybe it'll lead us to a place for insane ponies, which we are."

 

 

"It's not insane at all to go rescue a friend. That's actually the most sensible thing anypony could do. Besides. Most ponies don't SUFFER from insanity... They enjoy every minute of it!" she hoped her little joke would cheer up the golden maned stallion.

 

She trotted off after the others.

Gmork led the group towards the ruins of an ancient castle

 

 "Quickly" he growled. "Put the prisoner inside and chain him back up... I intend to cause a few problems for the rescue party. divide and conquer..."

 

 "You won't get away with this!" Silver said "My friends will stick together no matter what!" but he wondered if they really would... they'd gotten seprated so many times and often went off on their own tangents.

 

"If there was ever a time to stick together.. it's now. We will need everyponies most positive talents to defeat this beast." he thought, hoping his thoughts could somehow mentally project to the group. he knew of course... that this was impossible.

Minty smirked. "You actually think we can band together? Oh, that's such a great idea." She says, sarcastically. "Not if I'm gonna be with Mr. Polite." She said, gesturing to Redwave. "Never in a million years." She said, crossing her hooves. "Can't make me," she says stubbornly, lying down in the air, completely forgetting her manners. "Stay out of my way, and you won't be hurt," she glared, filing her hooves.

"Red, no!" Cinder shouted.

 

At Minties last comment, something inside Redwave snapped. He muttered something under his breath and stormed towards the green pegasus.

 

"I have had enough of you!" He snarled as he approached. On reaching her however, rather than attacking he grappled and roughly kissed the reluctant pegasus before waving the parasprite off towards the woods.

 

"Perhaps you can pass that onto the real Minty if I do not return." He turned and followed the insect into the woods. "With me Cinder, we have a distraction to cause."

Lyona led the group, scanning the growth for any hint of danger. She looked at the parasprite curiously as it lead them. These insects are really strange... I do hope it leads us to the right place, and not into a trap... She winced, and shook her head to get rid of such thoughts.

 

(We really need Minty to be normal again for the final battle...)

"Red, no!" Cinder shouted.

Minty blushed fiercely at Redwave's motion. She quickly regained her coat color, but fell to the floor with a snap of her wings to the ground. "Uh, Redwave...? What happened..?" She asked, fainting. She was completely fine, she just needed to recover from the shock. Redwave wouldn't ever be.. rough like that, but Minty had to admit, she actually liked it.

'More the fool you are Red, if you don't see this for the trick it must be.' Redwave thought on hearing Minty's voice: the sweet voice he knew. He couldn't ignore her though, he was compelled to look back to her as the green flooded into her coat.

 

"Nothing happened, do not trouble yourself." He said reassuringly, not quite sure if she could hear him of not. "It's good to see you again. The real you."

Trotting behind Lyona, like Batman looking around her surroundings for any danger. '' Don't worry guys, I got your back. I just hope that in return that you have my back.''

Minty tried to stand up, to follow the rest of the group away. She failed, however, stumbling and trotting around in circles out of confusion and shock. She struggled to find a familiar face, and saw a blur of colors. She trotted-- stumbled, over to Redwave and put a hoof around his neck to stand up stable. She blushed at realizing who it was.

 

Derpy watched the mare struggle sympathetically. She didn't interfere as Redwave helped her.

 

 

 

Minty smiled softly at Redwave, then kissed him on the cheek. "Th-thank you. You're quite the charmer, too." She trotted up ahead, with a happy grin on her face. "Everything is going to be just fine." She gestured for Redwave to follow.

 

"Welcome back Minty" She said as the green mare passed her by. 

 

The little parasprite buzzed along heading steadily in the same direction. She stopped suddenly and hovered before them.

 

Just in view through the bushes were the ruins of a castle.

 

Derpy peered through the tap.

 

"It's the ancient castle ruins of the royal pony sisters!" She said, recognizing the place. "Is this where Silver is?" She asked the parasprite.

 

It buzzed and fanned it's wings.

 

"He must be in there" She said to the others. She turned expectantly to Lyona waiting to see what plan she may have come up with.

Lyona was tapping her hoof against her chin, looking thoughtful. " We'll scout the outside of the castle quietly, and listen for any noises that might tell us where he is." She decided. " It's not the best plan ever, but it's what I can think of right now with the smallest chance of us getting caught."

((OOC this is the setting where Gmork is holding Silver captive. Proceed with caution but be prepared for him to confront each one of you. You can kill the timber wolves off if you like. Don't really care how they die.))

 

 

 

 

Lyona was tapping her hoof against her chin, looking thoughtful. " We'll scout the outside of the castle quietly, and listen for any noises that might tell us where he is." She decided. " It's not the best plan ever, but it's what I can think of right now with the smallest chance of us getting caught."

"If we can find out where they are holding him, I can lure them away. " Red explained. "I wouldn't want to risk getting their attention any sooner than we must though."

He looked around the others.

"Subtlety really isn't my greatest proficiency. I have a plan for getting the beasts attention, but somepony else is going to have to do the scouting and of course, the whole 'rescuing' thing."

"What would you like me to do Miss?" Derpy asked Lyona. She knew she was no scout and was worried she'd do something clumsy and give away their location.

 

" Stay hidden in one of the clouds, high above. You'll be the one sending messages between us. You are a mail-mare after all." Lyona smiled, and then looked at everypony else. " If you need to send a voice message to somepony else in the group, stand on your hind legs and wave your arms madly." Lyona demonstrated.

" You stay here, and stay hidden. We'll send Ditzy over to you when we find where Silver is being held." She replied.

"I.. I think I might be able to scout. I can be pretty qu-quiet, and I learned stealth when I still lived with my father.. I mean, if that's okay, that is." Minty said, raising a anxious hoof in the air. She didn't actually know if she can do this, but she knew she had to do it for the group.

"Just let us know where they are." Cinder nodded with a determined look. "Red, your sure about this plan? It's crazy.

 

'It's exactly the kind of plan Scribe would think of...' She thought.

 

"Sure? My dear, I am never sure." He smirked before turning back to the group.

 

"Minty, if your confident, that sounds like an excellent plan. Just... don't take any unnecessary risks - come back to us in one piece, okay?"
