The main RP thread.

Each for their own reasons, a group of total strangers have found themselves staying at the same inn. The Sojourn Inn,a stop, a reprieve from long days of travel. Located in a small Hamlet, on a major road. The largest building for miles, affordable accommodations aplenty, but there's a catch: You are only permitted to stay for up to three days and three nights. After that, you must continue your journey, where ever that may lead you to or away from.

 

A character-driven RP, with a definite time-frame.

Rules of RP

• No Godmodding
• Only the DM(hey, that's me!) may dictate the time of day.
• No Mary Sues/Gary Stus
• Romantic relationships are allowed, encouraged even, but don't detail anything above PG-13
• All narration must be in third-person and past-tense. I realize there are some who prefer first person, but I am a stickler for consistency.
• Proper grammar please. Occasional mishaps are fine, but do try your best.
• Ponies and Zebras(and theoretically, mules/donkeys, but really, who ever RPs as one of those) only. Sorry, no changelings/gryphons/etc.
• No Alicorns, but Winged Unicorns are OK(what's the difference, you may ask? Winged Unicorns aren't any more powerful than a regular unicorn.)
• Only one character per person, for simplicity's sake.

i have quite a bit of RP experience i think. i have a RP myself going right now, its called never again... if you want to see how i RP you could hit that.

i'm pretty active. i will be on this forum at least 2-3 times a day for a few hours if not longer.

Hmm, well... seems fine, for the most part. It just seems to me that you have the habit of not properly capitalizing things. I refer to my 6th rule, so, if you could, please make it an effort to use your shift key(unless, that is, if that is broken.) more often, eh?

Well, I've for Scribe and Cinder on the go, so I guess I'd like to submit Symphony, third character in my sig.

 

You've actually seen every mlp rp I've been in, so that's my experience.

 

And I'm pretty active usually, but might not be able to post much tomorrow night, and my 'night' is when everyone seems to be on.

 

Oh, and I don't mind using any of my characters really, whatever keeps status quo.

As described in the first post, this is a character-driven RP. Participants will be expected to form conflict amongst each other and explore and develop their character. There will be NPCs, but they will not be a driving force.

 

The characters won't necessarily walk in the door at the same time, but they are all arriving the same day. For instance, if the RP starts before Cinderscribe gets back on, his character would probably be arriving last.

The condition being that there be no references to the human world in this RP(or at the very least, character knowledge of it). Sorry, other than that she is fine, but the timeline I had in mind for this RP would be prior to the events of EG.

Well, Heather is fine, but Variety would call for a unicorn. I am not going to enforce Variety's whim, so you may use either Heather or (a slightly aged)Milly if you wish.

 

Also, abstract personification is fun.

Use either, it's for you to decide. Both would fit perfectly fine... but given that the other two mares are more introverted, perhaps Milly would fit better given her more extroverted nature. But, the final decision between the two is your own.

If we are starting, we should probably say who will be coming in what order so that everyone doesn't come in at the same exact time XD Thats jsut me wanting to be organized though...
