gaming Favorite Minecraft Mods?

I was playing some Minecraft for the 360 and got a little bored with it. I went to my buddies house and he showed me some of the mods he had for his Minecraft on the PC. I'm getting a gaming laptop on Sunday and the first thing I'm going to get is Minecraft. One my favorite mods he had was the explosions + mod, I was wondering, what other great mods for Minecraft are out there?

Go get either Tekkit or Feed the Beast. These are some really cool modpacks that simply overall expand the game in such an awesome way. The thing that sold me is that in Tekkit and I believe FTB too you can mine copper which you can turn into wire with some rubber which you can create computers and machines with which you can convert mined uranium into some weird powersource which you can then turn into nukes if you have the proper machines built.

 

Also, the computers built in these are fully programmable. I had a friend who recreated the internet in Minecraft and it was the coolest thing.

Go find the FTB launcher. there you can find many different mod packs that can fit may different levels of mod knowledge. Don't use Tekkit, the makers of the launcher never got permission form the modders to use their mods.

I don't have many mods since I have nooo idea how to get them without the  Magic Launcher, but I like the Gulliver and Capes mod.

Some good ones are Pams mods, she has some really good one all food but still a lot of fun! Creeps and weirdos is a really cool one. Minecraft for kids is funny makes everything like kind of well funny lol best way to put it those are the only goods ones I have of but there are a LOT of them out there I know of a MLP mod too.

I honestly haven't used many mods in a while, and most of the time I just looked for them on the Minecraft forums. 

 

But I think one of my favorites is still Mo, creatures. I just like it, makes the game feel more full of life.

I'd have to say DrZhark's Mo' Creatures. Every single creature never fails to blow me away. But for my second favourite I would have to claim the 'Zeppelin' mod. (Even if it is quite buggy)
