Sole sighed as he thought he heard her mumble something, and prepaired to get yelled at. When the yelling didn't come, he cracked one eye open and looked over to see her sleeping peacfully "damn... still looks cute as hell when she's sleeping." He mumbled, before realizing what he just said and quickly shook his head "this is gonna be a loooong voyage..." he said quietly, as he laid down again, and quickly fell asleep.

"Your capacity for forgetting my presence is astounding for one who is ussually among the most perceptive," Lyth tells Cosmo as he approaches. "I am almost disappointed your guardian didn't tell you you were leaving again. Not that it's either of your jobs," she sighs. "It's beautiful, isn't it?" she ask, looking at the moon. (I've been told it's more or less night time)

As he walked up, Cosmo told her, "He noticed, but he thought it was best to let me check out the screaming I heard on the deck. Like I said, this place makes me antsy. But either way, I'm sorry." An embarrassed blush was faintly viable on his dark blue cheeks. Following her gave to the moon, Cosmo nodded. "Do you know why I serve Princess Luna? Why I'm willing to sacrifice my life at her request?"

Sidon, having just finished preparing his quarters for the voyage, appeared on deck, his hood donned once more. After glancing around for a moment, he made his way over to Captain Grinn.

"Captain." He said, stopping beside the pirate. "I've done an inventory of the ship's medical supplies. I'm pleased to tell you that we are stocked for a good three months voyage. I also took the liberty of adding some materials to the cargo as well; nothing much, just a few things which I believe will come in useful, should we happen into any...violent situations."

The stallion chuckled and shook his head. "As we undoubtedly will..."

Stone awoke. She got up and yawned "hmmm. Must've taken a nap...." She yawned. And stood up with a bored face because she realized that she was on board with sole. Should she talk to him and just get it over with, or wait till he does. She really didn't care anyway.

sole woke to the sound of someone moving next to him, he was about to attack out of old habits, almost mistaking her for an enemy. As he realized it was just stone, he quickly stopped and sighed "hey stone..." he said slowly "is there something i can help ya with?" He asked, as she seemed absorbed in her thoughts.

Crimson smirked at dark, "excellent, looks like everyone is finally here, and that means we can finally set sail! Everyone get to your stations, swordpoint, get to the wheel and set our course, stone, stay up in the crows nest and make sure were clear of debree, everyone else, make sure your ready for anything!" Said crimson with a serious tone.

Swordpoint glanced at Crimson. "I am sorry, Raze. Perhaps this may wait until a later time." He nodded respectfully and walked to the wheel of the ship. "Hm... I have never steered a ship... So I simply turn this in the direction that I wish to turn the ship..." He turned it idly to get a feel for its weight. Satisfied, he called out. "I am ready. Let us unfurl the sails and depart! That is, if you are prepared, Crimson."

Rainbow stepped through the door to the deck and flew up to where Swordpoint stood. "So we're finally ready to leave, huh?"

Swordpoint nodded. "Yes. It should be any moment, now. Are you prepared for the journey ahead?"

Rainbow smirked. "I'm prepared for anything! Let's get going, already!"

Cosmo nodded, "That clan was called the Blood Winds. They were hit men, and I was one of them for fourteen years. My final contract was to move into the town of Buckbarrel, and collect a list of everyone who lived there and how to kill them all. My father was an elder in the clan and this was to be my initiation, to purge the last of my innocence. My father made me watch as after everyone else had been killed, he personally took Altair," Cosmo nodded to his sword, "and killed each of the ponies that had been my friends. We then went back to our base and began my oath to the clan as a full member, to confirm my allegiance. It was then that as I remember it, I blacked out and woke up to find my clan was slaughtered. As of recently, I discovered that was Altiar escaping my father's service by using me to kill everyone of my clan."

Cosmo finally looked away from the Moon and turned to Lyth. "Sorry, I can't tell that part with looking at the moon or crying. With nowhere else to go, I went to Canterlot and confessed all my crimes to Celestia. She would've had me killed but Luna intervened, seeing the guilt I felt and relating it to her feelings as Nightmare Moon. She took me as an assistant and eventually a student. Princess Luna gave me the life I have today, if not for her... I'd be dead. She's my savior and I will serve her however I can. That's why I joined Crimson's crew, to rid the world of Umbra and ensure Equestria never is threatened by him."

Cosmo was silent for a moment before saying, "Thank you for listening Lyth, I know it can be a lot to hear..."

Stone sighed "I dunno you tell me" she said not really carring what he does. Well, she did, but she didn't want to show it. She didn't like showing her weak side, well, at least not now it is.

(I can't wait to see how RD is in this rp, it's going to really mess with everything lol)

sole sighed and shrugged "I dunno, you just looked like ya wanted ta say something." He said honestly, as he stood and stretched "actually... I do need to talk to ya... so don't go running off again." He admitted, as he walked up to her calmly "are you gonna stay?" He asked.

She smiled, "Is it not mine job for me to listen? For she who follows the path alight by the moon must make sure the candles burn bright enough for those to follow, and help keep those who may walk astray. My beginnings are less deadly, and less sad. I was teased and beaten for being small, and our Princess lifted me, quite literally, into her religion. Hers are the blessings that give my life meaning." She pats Cosmo's shoulder, "It is unfortunate that you're beginnings are so tragic, though perhaps not the worst. And believe me when I tell you that when I once went abroad, I saw worse. You shall always find an ear with me, this I promise you." She mumbles something under her breath and making odd motions with her hoof. She lightly taps him on the shoulder and he feels small amount of energy flow into him, and recede. A faint purple glyph appears briefly where she taps him and fades until it looks normal.

Stone nodded her head, what else could she say. NO. And leave, where could she go, she's on a ship with him. "Sure, what's up" she said putting her hoof through her head trying to find something to do instead of figiding. She didn't want to look nervous talking.

"I disagree. These problems of mine are my past. They are painful but they dont need to be dealt with to alter the actions of my present. I think anyone who would listen would be doing so out of kindness, not responsibility," Cosmo responded with smiling, his eyes showing signs of tears. "Sadly, I too have seen worse. Mine was not a pleasant childhood but it gave me a belonging. So many have suffered far worse than I have. Many of them have been freed by my actions but many more suffer still... I must thank you again Lyth. I really appreciate knowing I can share my burdens with someone who cares." Feeling her magic, Cosmo grinned and looked at his shoulder. "I cannot seem to read the magic you use. What is the power of this glyph?"

"It's my glyph; a promise glyph. Consider it insurance; this makes it harder for me to break promises. Nearly impossible, in fact. I'd recomend it for when you get married, but then I'd have to teach it to you. That would be a problem, as I find it slightly difficult to teach."

Cosmo chuckled when she mentioned marriage. "I've never really thought about marriage. I had a marefriend named Cinder recently but she was more aligned with Solar magic, which contradicts my Lunar affinity. I won't ask about your glyphs, they're your magic. If I had any chance of learning them, I'd be able read their effects." Cosmo looked in Lyth's eyes and blushed again, "This is a first. I've never had a moonlit discussion like this with anyone, let alone a mare before. Well, other than Luna." Without thinking Cosmo leaned forward and kissed Lyth on the cheek. Realizing what he had done, he looked away embarrassed and told her, "Sorry. I didn't... I'm never really sure how to act around ponies who've been so nice to me," he said gesturing to the glyph on his should and the amulet on his sword. "If it was too weird feel free to forget I just did that." Edited by TheBreech

Her normally purplish cheeks turned scarlet and she squeaked. She then cleared her throat, "Ehem, normally you ask for a date before your start kissing Cosmo." She absently rubbed her cheek where he kissed her. "I, umm, need to process this and I will see you later." She then proceeded to turn and trip, landing with a heavy umph.

(OOC: I think this is going to be fun laugh.png  )

Cosmo used a quick telekinetic spell to lift her back up and quickly made his way back to his cabin without saying anything. As soon as he was in his room he closed the and cast a spell to prevetn any noise from leaving the room. He then took Altair out of it's sheath and stuck in the middle of the room, "Why didn't you stop me?!" Altiar's image formed with him siting against the blade with a grin on his face, "How could I/?You didn't know you were about to do that so how could I know? Even if I did, taking control of you isn't something I'll do over a little thing like this." Cosmo was pacing, clearly shaken up by what had just happened. "She didn't seem angry. If you act more carefully you could proba/" "How would you know?! You've spent the past thousand years with assassins!" Altair looked shocked for a moment then burst out laughing, "Well those assassins didn't just appear from thin air! You're ancestors had to find partners who could produce children of such caliber. Take your mother for instance, the unicorn who you get your magical skill from. She wasn't an easy mare to approach. Your father made a fool of himself countless times before she'd even consider dating him." Cosmo was stunned by Altair's example, "You know about my mother?" "Yes, she was a clever mare and extremely gifted with magic, particularly your Specialty, as you enjoyed shouting at Rail" Cosmo nodded and asked, "What happened to her?" A deep frown crossed Altair's face, "She was your father's Buckbarrel..." Before Cosmo could reply, Altair quickly changed the subject, "Look I'm not interested in the past right now! I'm interested in helping you think about how you're going to approach Lyth in the near future." Cosmo blushed, remembering what had happened just minutes before, "After that... I was thinking invisiblity spells and teleporting my food to my room... You know me well enough to know I don't know how to act around mares..." Altair grinned and shook his head, "I guess we'll have to work on that later then," he then vanished back into the sword, leaving Cosmo to fall back onto his bed and pass out for a few hours.

Now he thinks I'm a clutz. She hadn't moved from where he'd left her. He's a quick, balanced assassin. I'm a clutzy, weak priestess. And worst of all, I have no idea where my room is. Now I have to try to talk to him... Luna, are you trying me right now? Because this... This is certainly my weak point. She blushed embarressedly and walked through the ship until she found a door that had Cosmo's aura on it. She knocked lightly, looking at her hooves.

Cosmo heard the knock and opened his eyes to a crescent moon. Laying sideways, it looked like a smirk from Luna watching her subjects. Having a good idea who it was, Cosmo told himself, "Just try not make a fool of yourself again..." "My thoughts exactly," teased Altair. Cosmo swore at him in his head and opened the door to find Lyth appearing just as nervous as he was. "Hey Lyth... what's up?" Cosmo asked, barely keeping himself from stuttering. Edited by TheBreech

Her cheeks were scarlet with embarrassment. Let's try not to trip standing, Lyth, she thought to herself.

Swordpoint grinned toward the open sea. "Crimson! I am ready. Shall we unfurl the sails and set out? I have plotted our course according to the information that I have obtained."

Rainbow smiled, unable to contain her excitement. "This is gonna be so awesome! I've never been on a ship before, and now we're going sailing over the ocean! Plus, we'll get to see some action, too!"

Swordpoint glanced at her nervously, but he kept quiet.

"Your help would be greatly appreciated," she replies. She steps back to let him out. "So, umm, you work under Luna, yes?" Of course he does, idiot. He even told you! "How much d-do you know of our religion?" She blushes, continuing to look down as she waited for him to lead her through the ship.
