(OoC: Well... way to wait for me to respond. I wanted to have Rainbow knock Swordpoint to the ground or something comical. Now I have to settle for this.)

 

Swordpoint glanced around. "What... what is this?" You poor hero... All that fighting to redeem your soul. Swordpoint shifted his gaze around the ship hastily. "Who... who are you?" Only you can hear us... We want to help you. "Help me?"

 

Rainbow leapt into the air. "Hey! What's going on?! And what was that weird singing?"

 

We can wipe away your torment. You will be free from your guilt and sins. Swordpoint shook his head. "But how? How can you erase what I have done?" Our power is great. Only trust us... But to show you the way, we must be able to sing. Swordpoint became mesmerized. "How can I allow you to sing?" Kill the unicorn who cast the barrier... He must die if you are to cleanse yourself. Swordpoint nodded. "Yes. I must cleanse my sins." He used his magic to conjure his lance and faced Cosmo. "Cosmo must die."

 

Rainbow watched Swordpoint curiously. "Hey, what are you doing? Put that away! HEY! Are you even listening?!"

 

As Swordpoint began to approach Cosmo, Rainbow darted toward him. He hit her with the back of the lance, knocking her to the deck, where she hit her head and was knocked unconscious.

 

(OoC: How about that fight we never got, Cosmo? )

(OOC: I'd love to, except Cosmo is in his room with Lyth who just had to walk him there... I'm going to change a few of your details, otherwise it really contradicts my previous posts. Sorry bro)

The exhaustion of Cosmo's body defeated the energy and willpower of his mind, and he fell asleep. The next morning, Cosmo felt refreshed and walked with Altair up to the top deck to relax for a bit and check his shield, which was holding nicely. Looking over, he saw Swordpoint thinking about something with Rainbow beside him and called over to him, "Morning Swordpoint. Those Sirens didn't get you yesterday did they?" he joked, but Swordpoint's expression hardened and he conjured his lance. Rainbow Dash started getting worked up and finally, Swordpoint struck her. "What. The. Buck. Happened!" Altair mumbled how thankful he was that Cosmo brought him up. Cosmo teleported The Black feathers to his side and readied the stance he'd on with Altair the day before."Well, I guess that answers my question about the sirens..." he thought as he waited to counter Swordpoint's first strike. "Altair can help me get in side the lance's reach, and then I'll want to get close and... What the buck am I saying! That would kill him!"

(This fits with my posts better and it explains why the crew isn't restraining you )

She was about to reply to him when he decided to 'wake up.' She sighed, disappointed she would be unable to help him understand her work. She followed him onto the deck and saw Swordpoint pulling a lance out of space and Cosmo going into battle formation, and felt something snap. "I will not have any fighting amongst friends on this ship." Her voice rang with power though her mouth did not open. The night knows much and sees plenty. She knows that your words are not true vixen. Your hold on Swordpoint will not last." She began to magically enter Swordpoint, separating his thoughts from the Sirens. She gently forced him to follow the mental lines connecting them, and coming up against a barrier. She formed a mental lance and speared through their defense, showing him the intentions of the Sirens; how they were planning to 'cleanse' his sins. (Trying to be useful.)

Swordpoint cast a powerful shield spell around himself, breaking Lyth's spell. "Cosmo... must... die..." He teleported above Cosmo and used telekinesis to pick him up and slam him against the deck of the ship. "I... must... cleanse..."

Swordpoint cast a powerful shield spell around himself, breaking Lyth's spell. "Cosmo... must... die..." He teleported above Cosmo and used telekinesis to pick him up and slam him against the deck of the ship. "I... must... cleanse..."

"Both of you should know better..." Cosmo said as he simply floated in the air despite Swordpoint's attempt to slam him back down. "Actually Lyth, you shouldn't, you haven't seen this guy fight. You got to weaken him a lot before his brain can be put back in order. But you Swordpoint," Cosmo said looking at his bewitched friend, "Nopony can beat me with Telekinesis, especially not a bucking Pegasus! I don't care how much training you've had! Telekinesis is my/" "specialty..?" finished a bored Altair, We know Cosmo. Look, could you please, just beat the sense back into him? I don't know about you but I'd like to relax for a while..." Cosmo mumbled a few swears at the interruption but in one motion, unsheathed Altair and swung it at Swordpoint's wings, to disable his flight; the first step in fighting a Pegasus, as the tournament taught him.

(OOC: Btw @, I want to fight too, so please just watch)

She cringed as he broke the link and began to probe his shield. She wished it was still night outside so she'd have a better grip on her magic, but the moonlight soaked into the waves lapping at the bottom of the boat would have to do. She began trying to 'match frequencies' with Swordpoint's shield so she could disable it.

Sole groaned and sat up, rubbing his head "ah crap... I'm sorry ya had to see that stony..." He said slowly, as he stood up and walked over to her "and where were you when I was being controlled by evil fish women, jumping overboard?" He asked in slight annoyance "and I thought you were the only one that had that kind of effect on me!" He joked.

Crimson groaned as he awoke, rubbing his head in pain as he looked around the deck of the ship, "what the buck happened? How did I get out here? Wait..." Mumbled crimson as all his memories from the night before came flooding back to him, causing him to growl in annoyance, "sirens! Of course! How did I not prepare for something as inevitable as THAT!? And..." He paused once again as he noticed Cosmo and swordpoint fighting each other, crimsons eyes widened, "AND WHY THE BUCK ARE MY CREW FIGHTING EACHOTHER!?" Asked crimson before jumping to his hooves and ran next to lyth, "how long have I been out!?" Asked crimson as he straightened his hat.

She straightened and saluted, "Captain, I am unaware how long you've been out. Swordpoint is under the influence of the Sirens, and is trying to kill Cosmo, who is currently protecting you and the other males from said Sirens. Luna help them and me," she sighed.

Swordpoint easily dodged Cosmo's strike by teleporting behind him. "Cleanse..." He began to fly in a circle around Cosmo, gaining speed rapidly. When he was little more than a blur, he charged at Cosmo, his lance extended.

Deranged sat and watched knowing he shouldn't interfere. "Can't interfere...especially if siren is causing this" Deranged said as he summoned his rifle and pointed out at sea. "Just wait till you see the real siren and fire" Deranged said as the bullet in the chamber had electricty

Cosmo quickly ceased trying to watch Swordpoint and had Altair watch his back while he watched his front, "A weapon like that? He'll need a good charge lane to attack." "Cosmo, 7 o clock!" Altair warned, giving Cosmo the chance to bring his sword down on the lance and jump kick Swordpoint in the chest.

Swordpoint was sent reeling backward. He quickly righted himself and glared at Cosmo. He spread his wings and began to glow a bright gold, with golden tendrils of energy swirling around him.

Rainbow groaned and held her head as she began to regain consciousness. "Ugh... what happened?" She stood up to find Swordpoint and Cosmo fighting. "Oh, buck... I forgot." She turned to Crimson. "What's going on? Why is he acting like this?! He'd never just try to kill somepony like that!"

Swordpoint was sent reeling backward. He quickly righted himself and glared at Cosmo. He spread his wings and began to glow a bright gold, with golden tendrils of energy swirling around him.

"Oh no, I'm so intimidated." Cosmo said dryly. With Altair's help, Cosmo took his shadow prince form. Cosmo calmly stared at Swordpoint, the only movement being the smokey aura on his hooves eyes and mane. "Swordpoint we can do this all day but in case you haven't noticed, you're the only one using magic. My guardian spirits getting tired of this already, so how about we end this quickly," Cosmo said he teleported behind Swordpoint and brought down the flat side of Altair on his head, going for a knockout.

Swordpoint channeled the energy he'd gathered into a powerful blast of electricity, which he sent running through Cosmo's arm as he tried to bash Swordpoint. Swordpoint then spun around and caused his lance to disappear, conjuring a small dagger in its place.

 

(OoC: Not so fast, there...)

(I hold the sword with magic, so I'll assume you shot it my body.) Cosmo felt the blast but his previous attack hit Swordpoint hard enough to reduce the electrocution to making his arm really tingly. Watching Swordpoint's change in weapons, Cosmo sighed. "If your weapons too big, I get close and use daggers, if its too small, I use Altair to keep you at a distance... Swordpoint I'm not sure what kind of training you were given but I was bred, raised, and trained to kill. I hope I won't have to prove it to you..." Cosmo said as he loosed a telekinetic wave to shake up Swordpoint and put some distance between them, then backed up to ensure it was made. Altair silently mused the battle, "Those two could've been twins... Good stallions raised by evil they turned against after being cleansed. Both are adaptable warriors, with equally unwavering wills... The only differences are Cosmo's a unicorn of Lunar alignment while Swordpoint is a Pegasus of Solar. That... and Cosmo has achieved the redemption he sought... Swordpoint is still looking."

(I swear, this has to be an old guy in my brain. No seventeen year old can come up with this stuff. XD )

"Cosmo," Lyth shouts, more for audibility than anything else, "Let me take over the shield. You need the energy to subdue Swordpoint." She stomped and a glowing circle appeared around her. She closed her eyes and sat, mumbling and extending her consciousness to Cosmo for the transfer.

(Then why would Swordpoint be fighting me?)

"No can do Lyth. I can react to Seordpooint attacking me but he's too fast for me to rush over and protect you. Unless you're as fast as a trained Pegasus warrior, I'll have to be the center of this. Besides, I've got an alternative energy source," Cosmo shouted back as he watched his opponent's response. "Controlling the shield will be all I can do Cosmo. You'll have to..." Altair warned as Cosmo mentally responded, "Fight him like I fought, Dreams, Goldre, Standoff, and every other opponent I faced in the five years I rejected your help. I can handle this Altair, you don't have to worry. But thank you anyways." Altair gave a satisfied smile and began holding up the shield, leaving Cosmo with only Swordpoint to deal with.

Swordpoint darted forward, weaving back and forth as he did. Instead of attacking Cosmo, however, Swordpoint leapt over him. His eyes began to glow and he conjured a wave of daggers which rained down toward Cosmo.

 

"Oh, no..." Rainbow said worriedly. "I'm pretty sure that Cosmo can handle himself, but if Swordpoint keeps casting magic like this, he's going to wear himself out. He could end up killing himself!"

Cosmo, expecting Swordpoint was trying get behind him, darted forward and turned when he saw his friend leap. He saw the rain of daggers and teleported above Swordpoint, once again swinging Altair down with telekinesis for a knockout blow. Altair was watching from the ground, barely in range of the sword to move freely. As his incorporeal body allowed the daggers to pass through effortlessly, Altair noted how useful this kind of spell would be in a variation of Blood Wind. "We could call it something like... Blood Gust? I could do that, but what would Cosmo think of that name..??"

"Maybe I should control you, a d then make you make me a Cesar salad" she said with a wide smirk. Obviously she was joking, but a salad did sound good at the moment.

Altair struck Swordpoint, but it only sent him reeling backward. He righted himself with help from his wings and shot up into the air, disappearing behind the clouds.

Stone walked up to the end of the boat. She looked at the water. And then a dropplet of sea water hit her face. And she jumped back and ran over to sole hugging him in a death hug. She was shaking and shivering from the fact that she didn't wanna drowned. "NOT THE WATER NOT THE WATER" she said closing her eyes.
