Shall Discord still cause chaos in S4?

I think he will still cause lots of chaos in season 4.  But I don't think he will do anything as serious as his first appearance.  While I do like the idea of him being reformed, we still need him to be a villain.

I think Discord is still going to cause chaos in season 4, but it's going to be chaos that's beneficial for the Mane 6. At first, I was really confused on how they were going to keep Discord's personality the same. Reforming Discord seems like it would hinder his chaotic nature, but after some time I can see some ways in which it could work. I can see Discord's omnipotent abilities to be invaluable in aiding the Mane 6 against villains. For example, if a future villain is chasing the Mane 6, Discord could use his powers to create a chaotic roadblock (like ducks crossing the road in a place where there'd be no ducks like a palace). Discord could also create a chaotic diversion (maybe his infamous pink clouds raining chocolate rain?) for when the Mane 6 are trying to sneak past guards. Discord could do all these sorts of things, but since he's Discord it's got to be in a chaotic manner. It's stated that Discord will be using his powers for good now, and I'm sure that if he keeps his signature chaotic style to his abilities he'll still feel like the same Discord. I do feel that Discord on the Mane 6's side would make the Mane 6 overpowered though, but I'm sure the writers will know not to abuse Discord's powers. I think it'd be better if Discord tagged along only if his powers were absolutely necessary to the mission, and if the villain were incredibly powerful. For the slice of life episodes, maybe Discord could cause a teeny tiny bit of chaos from time to time, as long as it's relatively harmless and all in good fun.

I hope he does cause chaos. I am not sure if I am the only that thought that Discord's practical jokes, pranks and sense of humor to be funny.  I am a Fluttershy fan but I laughed so hard when Discord turned Fluttershy's house upside down.

He might join Dash and Pinkie pulling pranks... I'd like to see that.

 

Does anypony else not think that if Discord helps against a big villain he might not do so directly? Direct action doesn't really seems his style, like when he Discorded the Mane 6, the only one he did directly was Fluttershy. He might also not help at all. He very much needs to be the guy you can't necessarily count on, IMHO.

I don't think he will in S4 because there is a pattern with the seasons.With a different gnder every other season so tis season I hink they will come back with a new girl probably but you never know!!

Yes he will cause chaos. He only agreed to use his magic for good. Discord not causing chaos would mean the writers putting discord SO incredibly out of character he wouldn't even be enjoyable to watch. And they know that.

I still think it's a bad thing he got 'reformed'. He's been my favourite villain ever since I first saw him. And though the chances are slim, I still can't help but see a little evil left in him. And it needs to be dragged out.

I dont see why not I mean, he is Discord after all. I just think that his chaos will be kept to a minimum, though, he'll probably mess the mane 6 here and there from time to time.
