So I had a random idea today for a fanfic. I expanded upon it and wrote a prologue chapter and stuck it on fimfiction.

 

As of yet, the story does not have a title. If you want to check out the teaser, it's right http://www.fimfiction.net/story/113654/untitled-story'>here. I expect to begin work on it in mid July.

 

The story is set over 2000 years after MLP: FiM, and the ponies have advanced technology far enough to actually accomplish space travel. In fact, they have found a way to manage faster than light travel. The story is told from the perspective of the main character, Stellar Flare. He's an average unicorn who is regarded as a hero and a legend among the Equestrian Space Force thanks to the events of a mission three years ago. The details of the journey still haunt Flare to this day, however, and he has decided to finally share the story with the world in the hopes of answering the question, "What makes someone a hero?"

I suggest that you name the fanfic: My Little Pony: Equestrian Space Force.  Though everyone will probably call it "ponies...IN SPACE!"
