Do you think there will be another spin-off movie?

After Hasbro making Equestria Girls, which I thought was a brilliant success, I'm wondering if there will be another MLP:FiM movie in the future. After all, the fanbase is so massive and the show is so popular; I think it would be worth making another spin-off movie for the fun of it. Not right now obviously, but maybe in about two or three years time. If there is another movie though, I want them all to stay ponies this time. But they did look great as humans, I've gotta say.

Also, guys, I'm not only asking if there WILL be a movie, but I'd also like to ask: do you guys WANT another movie? Or should we just stick with Equestria Girls at the only spin-off movie?

I'd be ok with a spinoff movie within a few years, and i think chances are it will happen, I just can't see them not trying one.

 

May not be humans, but its possible one with come around. Idk what.

 

At the very least I want an MLP movie within the next few years, and i'd be surprised if they didn't make another frankly.

Personally, Equestria Girls was more like a TV-direct to movie. That being said, it was a decent movie. I'd expect another spin-off in the future, but I'd be hoping for a full length the next time around. Something darker and yet comical. It'll certainly remove the stereotyping the show's received if critics rave at it.

A Doctor Who crossover is the next logical step I'd be fine with a movie or miniseries about Celestia and Luna's backstory, or maybe an Equestria Prevails type deal. In fact, I'm hoping for it.

I would be completely ok with another spin-off movie. But I think I would want to see some of the background ponies with more roles, having just the mane six can get a bit boring in my opinion. But no matter what they decide to do I'll be fine with it

^^ This most definitely. I would absolutely love a Celestia/Luna backstory or a Cadence backstory. Oooo another thought... What about a futuristic movie with the cutie mark crusaders that may or may not be their real future??? The possibilities are endless.

I wouldn't mind another one. Maybe it should be something that's not Equestria Girls. Don't get me wrong, I loved it but I would prefer something else.

 

Maybe something going into the past of some of the characters, like the Royal Sisters maybe?

 

Or Scootaloo perhaps?

Yeah, sure. If it has ponies. It would probably be a direct-to-video/TV/streaming release though, which would push the budget down a bit.

 

The only reason to make a story into a feature length movie instead of a series episode, is if the story is epic enough. And then it would need a big animation budget.

 

So, I don't know.

I'm pretty sure Hasbro isn't done making movies for MLP. I'm pretty sure in the next year or two we will see another MLP movie pop up. Now the only way I would want it is unless it remains truthful to the series itself and it has ponies instead of human/pony hybrids.

I haven't seen Equestria Girls, but after all the bad expectations for it and all the good post-view reviews, it seems that their movies will be awesome! I support another movie!
