"Well, you got a Pokedex.. you can use it. But right now, there's a lot of Zebstrika in that grass, so I suggest not to go in there. There's some Deerling up ahead though. We'd be lucky if we got a Zangoose though.. those things are vicious!" she said to Locke, eyeing the tall grass.

Locke grinned. "I think I'd rather surprise myself. And a Zangoose huh? I think those are native to Hoenn." Locke continued looking through the grass. He noticed a small looking pokemon with what seemed like snot coming out of it's nose. He took out his pokedex, which told him it was a Cubchoo. The pokedex also told him that it evolved into a Beartic. He looked up what a Beartic was and was sold. Locke pointed to the Cubchoo. "I think I'm gonna get that one."

Marceline looked at the Cubchoo. "Aw, it's so cute!" she smiled, and stood back. "Uh, good luck, though! You need to get better so you can battle Skyla later.." she said, watching the battle from a distance. She set down her Totodile and didn't notice it hobbling away in curiosity.

Locke nodded and took Scape over to the small pokemon. Mareep, without needing to be told to, used thunder wave to paralyze the pokemon. The cubchoo looked over and began to make snow appear, but suddenly couldn't move. "Scape thundershock it!" The move did a decent amount of damage and the cubchoo looked weak. Locke threw a pokeball at the cubchoo and, with the low health coupled with paralysis, caught the pokemon. He let the pokemon out and gave her a potion so she would get back to full health.

Marceline smiled at the pokemon. "So cute! Totodile, meet--" Marceline looked to her side and was surprised to see Totodile not at her side. "Totodile! Where'd you go?!" she asked in concern, as she ran into the tall grass in search for her lost pokemon. "Totodile!"

"Yea I-" Locke turned to see Marceline running into the tall grass calling for her Totodile.  "Wait Marceline you don't have a pokemon!" He returned his cubchoo (If I can still keep it) to it's pokeball and ran after Marceline with Scape. He eventually caught up with her. "What happened?"

Cubchoo! The Chill Pokemon! Cubchoo's runny nose is the source of its energy and its sniffles power its moves.

 

Gender: Female

 

Ability: Snow Cloak

 

Moves: Powder Snow, Icy Wind, Bide and Fury Swipes

 

This pokemon seems to be quite shy.

"Totodile is gone!" Marceline said sadly as she couldn't find her. "She must've hobbled off when I put her down.. I should've known!" she sighed as she kept walking through the tall grass.

 

(( OOC: Filler, filler, filler, filler, filler, filler, filler, filler, filler. What if Stella were to 'accidentally' find Totodile? ))

"Oh... Do you think she might have gone to that shack we saw?" Locke said as he put his pokedex away. The moves she had would be useful. The shyness would be something they would have to get passed, but Locke was sure he could manage it. "If Totodile left, it was probably because she saw something interesting, and that shack looked kind of interesting."

Marceline nodded. "Yeah, let's check there." She walked slowly out of the grass, hoping not to run into any pokemon as she headed for the small shack. She hoped there was somebody there who saw her Totodile. She knocked on the door anxiously, twiddling her thumbs.

What if Stella were to 'accidentally' find Totodile?

((I like this idea so much I'm going to abandon for it.))

 

"So yea... I'll be going..." Stella said, somewhat sheepishly walking towards route 7 and returning Oddish. By the time she got there, there were no pokemon in sight. Though some rustling in the grass. Walking over to it, she peeled back the grass to find a Totodile.

 

"A Totodile?" She questioned. Since when were these found in Unova? Regardless, it would be useful. So Stella called out a confident Oddish. "Grass knot!" She commanded it, hoping to trip the small Johto pokemon.

Stella obviously didn't pick up on what Totodile wanted. She wasn't really good with telling what pokemon wanted. Oddish began to run towards Totodile. "Now! Absorb!" She asked Oddish, who obliged. Being so close to Totodile, this would be hard to dodge.

"Alright! Now you're mine!" Stella said, throwing a pokeball directly at Totodile's head. Instead of opening and catching the pokemon, though, it simply bounced off. Both Stella and Oddish looked dumbfounded. "Huh? So... That means... You're already caught." The girl said, disappointed. "Well I suppose I should find your trainer then... Not worth leaving such a rare pokemon fainted in the wild and I ain't using a revive on someone else's Pokemon." Stella then picked up the pokemon and returned her Oddish.

Marceline came from the shack. "Well, I don't think we'll be seeing Totodile anytime soon.." Marceline sighed as she went up the trail.

"Oh come on I'm sure we'll find her." Locke followed her, not knowing they were going in the wrong direction from where Totodile was. "There's no way she could've gone very far in the short time that you didn;t see her. She's gotta be around here somewhere." Where she would be is another story.

Totodile was still fainted. It would be a bit hard to present the pokemon to the trainer that owned it in such a terrible looking state. Of course, she could always make up a story or something... Stella was quite good at that.

Marceline had a terrified look. "Wh-what if she went into the Celestial Tower?" she asked, looking at the tower from a distance. "She might be so scared.. Too bad that couple didn't see anything though.. I'm sure they would've saw a Totodile on the loose, since she's pretty loud."

Skyla seemed to be just getting back from a flight. Fortunately, there were no other challengers there. She giggled softly, before saying "Finally! A challenger! ... You are a challenger, right?"

Skyla giggled again. "I like your attitude! So, how does a 3 v 3 battle sound?" She paused. There were likely to be a lot of trainers without many pokemon. Unprepared trainers, to be more specific. "Unless you don't have that many..." She said in a sarcastically sympathetic tone.

And why is she fainted..?" she asked, giving Totodile a revive, making it wake up and look up at Marceline happily. She put her Totodile back in her backpack as it went off to sleep.

"Welllll..." Stella began, quite aware telling the truth would be a bad idea. "Your poor Totodile had been attacked by a Blitzle! It was fainted before I got there, though. But luckily, me and my trusty Oddish was able to chase them off before they could do anymore harm." Seeming to know what was going on, Oddish popped out of her pokeball and looked at the other girl with the most innocent eyes she could muster.

Marceline looked surprised and looked at Totodile. Totodile shook its head frantically, and Marceline eyed Stella suspiciously. "Toto! Totodile!" The Totodile said, hopping out of her backpack. "I'm sorry, Totodile is behaving rather strangely today." Marceline apologized.

Oddish seemed agitated, but tried to hide that by gently petting Totodile's head with one of her leaves. "Ah... It's alright." Stella said in response. "Actually, both of my pokemon have been acting a bit odd at times soon. Like Oddish might be a bit too confident or something..."
