Leon was relived when he saw Skarmory, surely Cyndaquil could take down a steel type. "Alright let's show her what we're made of Cyndaquil!" Leon said sending out the fire type which yawed and looked around as if it had been asleep for a while, which it was. "Now lets soften this thing up with a Quick Attack." Cyndaquil then ran at Skarmory reaching blinding speeds.

Skyla grinned, not giving Skarmory any commands. That said, Cyndaquil hit Skarmory head on, though the bird didn't seem to be very effected. "Now! Up into the sky with Aerial Ace!" Skyla called. Skarmory soon flew up at extremely fast speeds, taking Cyndaquil with it.

@, I was gonna go congratulate that Stella on her find, but something didn't seem right. Catching a Pokemon by holding it down? And, a Professor's assistant was doing this? I got out my camera, one foot on Harley (didn't trust him to not go try and make friends again) and snapped a picture.

Neither Stella or Oddish seemed to regard the flash, luckily. Though Zangoose looked a bit more agitated. "Alright... Oddish! Absorb on Zangoose! As for Seviper... Pokeball go!" With that Stella threw a pokeball directly at Seviper's head. Being almost unconscious, it didn't have much of a fight to put up, and was caught. Zangoose seemed rather confused, and both it and Oddish ceased their attacks.

 

Lets see what Dexter has to say about Seviper...

 

Seviper, the Fang Snake Pokemon! Seviper shares a generations-long feud with Zangoose. Its sword-like tail can slash foes and douse them with poison.

 

Gender: Female

 

Ability: Shed Skin

 

Moves: Wrap, Haze, Poison Tail and Bite

 

This pokemon seems timid, and quick to flee. It will have trouble trusting anyone.

As Marceline was headed back to the small house she and Locke encountered, she noticed Stella holding down a pokemon. She heard Totodile hiss at Stella, and quickly shushed it. She walked towards Stella, but not too close as she didn't want to walk in the middle of a battle. "Uh, Stella, was it? What are you doing?"

Locke followed Marceline for lack of anything better to do. He didn't really want to catch another pokemon on this route for variety's sake. He noticed that the girl that Marceline was talking to was the girl that had handed him his essentials for travel.  "Uh hey I rremember you from earlier..." he said awkwardly.

As Marceline was headed back to the small house she and Locke encountered, she noticed Stella holding down a pokemon. She heard Totodile hiss at Stella, and quickly shushed it. Stella was quite focused on the foe's moves, and didn't even acknowledge the two. She got like this quite often when battling. She wasn't one to lose. When Seviper was safely captured, and Zangoose seemed calm due to its enemy having disappeared, she returned Oddish, and picked up Seviper's pokeball and clipped it to her necklace, with a grin. She then acknowledged the question. "Just catching a pokemon that I've been looking for for forever..." She said, before noting Zangoose. It seemed fine. "Well I guess I won't catch you too..." She said, in a much sweeter tone then normal. Not by regards of the other trainers, either. She had forgotten about them. Zangoose seemed more confused then anything, but also somewhat agitated.

Marceline slowly walked away, clearly disturbed. She continued advancing towards the house. "There's something wrong with that Stella girl. She was holding down the Pokemon, I saw it. Even Totodile doesn't like her.." Marceline said concerned, to Locke.

Locke nodded as he followed her. "Yea I'm pretty sure Scape was a little more staticy than usual. Anyways where do you wanna go next? Wanna take on the gym? Or do you wanna catch some pokemon?" Locke was pretty sure he was ready for the gym. He had two pokemon that had an advantage on flying types.

"Uh, I think we should head for the Pokemon Center first. I think Scape and Cubchoo need to heal up before we go there.. Skyla is really competitive." Marceline said, turning the other way, and headed into the Pokemon Center. She put Totodile on the ground as she waited for Locke to finish with it.

((Not sure if you guys are 100% certain on this, but it was Oddish holding Zangoose down to be specific. With Grass Knot. Stella holding him down would not only be a health detriment, but effort is also a thing we at Team Plasma don't like doing. So yea. :3))

Skarmory instinctively cried in pain, and cut it's Aerial Ace, also dropping Cyndaquil from the sudden burning. Though it managed to recover fairly quickly. "Not too bad..." Skyla said. "Sadly... Not good enough. Skarmory! Agility then Fury Attack!" Skarmory flew, with the aid of Agility, under the falling Cyndaquil, and prepared it's beak to hit it with consecutive pecks.
