Since it's set around the Victorian Era and kinda based (at least from what I read in your post, Pripyat) around the UK mental institutions, perhaps my OC could be a veteran from the Crimean War? I would say Napoleonic, but I'm not too sure if it's Victorian or Georgian.

It won't be Victorian as per se, for ease of RPing, but a war veteran would be an excellent patient. A lot of Crimean veterans ended up in mental institutions cuz of suffering from the things they'd seen.

Yes, a nurse would be most satisfactory. :)

 

@, I'm afraid I can't accept your character to be in this RP. He is far too unrealistic and overpowered. I completely agree with darklord on this and I'm sure Shadow would as well.

Oh yeah! Uhh, whats the dealio with that "Criminal asylum" exactly? 'cause I wasnted to do something completley crazy but I can't cause the mental institute it to teamworky.

The Criminal Asylum... hmm, well, have you seen The Silence Of The Lambs? It's kinda along the lines of the asylum that Hannibal Lecter is imprisoned in. Or, think Arkham Asylum. Basically, it's a place to incarcerate the sociopaths, the psychos and all those who are a danger to society.

Yeah but how does it work? Like I know you'll be kept in a padded cell and daily treatment and whatnot but what if you progress really well? Are you allowed to wapk around? And if you do exxeptionally well can you roam a bit outside asylum perimeters?

The owner of the Criminal Asylum would let patients walk around outside a bit but not leave the perimeters. He's kinda of a hard line and he doesn't see his patients as being equine, more like monsters. He thinks that the owner of the Insane Asylum is soft cuz of what she preaches, ie the whole teamwork thingy. So basically, you'd only be locked in a cell as long as you misbehaved but otherwise, you could roam around the building and also outside a bit.

I think I like this new double asylum idea. I'll still be going with it but will need a new doctor. Addem hasn't been sighted in a while.

 

If TRULY needed, I will scrap Glacier and go using Jolt Silver as a doctor in the Insane Asylum.

I already put you down for Glacier, but if you play as Jolt, you're gonna have to post the link. Yeah... I kinda blocked everyone's signatures that I RP with (except for Pripyat's for some reason) so that I can cut down on loading time

And now we have 5 patients, 1 nurse, and 1 doctor. Unless Pripyat wants to take 4 of the patients (with the other being in the CA), we need some more doctors

He's a nice guy, and very shy. However, he suffers from schizophrenia, after serveral life events that mentally scarred him, making him numb to the world. At times, he says he hears many voices in his head, and in rare occurances, has a emotional outburst or rampage.

I wouldn't want it too gory; as in, not gratituous. As in, Silence Of The Lambs gory but not slasher movie gory. Well, it makes sense to me. :P

Google is your friend. XD I demand that you check it out! Anyway, what I mean is not "throw in some blood for the hell of it/describe a scene in bone crunching detail" type of gore, which is gratitious.
