Joy is kind and caring. Her cutie mark is the doctor's symbol; as well as owner, she's also a qualified doctor but the day to day running of the asylum is down to Glory, the head doctor. She gets very anxious about things, especially when the owner of the Criminal Asylum is bothering her.

 

Dume

 

 

Dume is kind of a bully; he runs the Criminal Asylum like a drill sergeant, and trains his doctors to be the same way. As far as he's concerned, protecting the public is his main objective, and he doesn't think that the patients in his asylum have any hope of being cured. His cutie mark means danger, cuz of his job.

On another note: I'm trying to think of things that would set Goldie off into episodes. Here are a few so the rest of you guys know 'what makes him tick', as they say XD

 

Cold Winters

Hot summers

Russians (though I don't think there are any Russian-based ponies in this RP X3)

Long trench coats

Explosions, cannons, muskets (though these are kinda obvious and I assume they won't be used in the RP )

Bicornes (two side hats)

Hurricanes/lots of wind and rain

 

Anybody else that knows a bit about the Crimea have any ideas XD?

Goldie's a war veteran from the Crimean War, suffering from a severe case of PTSD. (Pripyat says lots of the veterans were sent to insane asylums, so it does fit). He doesn't have anything against Russians, besides the fact that he fought them for 2-3 years . Naturally, seeing or hearing a Russian may send him into an episode.

If he's anything like he was in the Civil War RP and in the Cadence RP (and by that I mean a mean type of stallion XD), then we should do it! Goldie would remember him as that "Hellish bastard that burned down towns" and would just love to meet you again!   (Yeah, I might refrence a tiny bit from another RP)

THEN they were released from service. Much like the Imperial Guard from WH40K.

 

Also, do we even -have- a Russia in Equestria? Cause that would suck for anypony invading. Like the Germans in WW2.

Ah, so he only did the Total War policy because he felt it was the only way to end the war, no because he enjoyed it?

I don't know if there is a pony-Russia, but I think we can allow it for the sake of this RP (Pripyat gave me the green light for my backstory, so I guess it's a yes). Never invade Russia! Napoleon, Lord Raglan, and Hitler all tried invading Russia, and were stopped by one thing: Winter
