As Krazie turned around, she saw a faint glow near the campsite. Wow, those guys are good. "Good thing they know how to light fires, I certainly don't know how," She replied to June Bug.

Krazie dragged her pile of sticks on a large forest leaf to the campsite, where she found the ponies working together on the fire.

"Wow, you guys got the campfire to spark. Nice job, Light and Midfire! Me and Junebug should have enough wood to keep the fire burning through the night."

Krazie tossed a few sticks into the fire and became entranced as it began to light up. The flames are beautiful. As she leaned forward towards the fire, a small, shiny object fell from her bag. It took her a moment to remember what it was for.

"Oh, I almost forgot! I brought you this whistle for the trip, Light. I thought it might make you feel a bit safer if you have a way to warn us of danger. Only use it in an emergency, and we'll come running to you." She smiled at the young colt. No way the Forest Spirits are getting MY friends!

"Hey, Krazie! You said you wanted to get a cutie mark on spirit catching? Maybe we can see if we can get a spirit while we're exploring," she hyped. "And yes, my parents died. I can take care of myself, though. It's okay."

(( OOC: How come I feel like we're all kissing up to the colts? They're just foals. ))

Junebug tried to make out what the colt was saying. "Umm, so you want to use the code through your whistle? That's a great idea! I can translate for you, I know it as well." Her grandfather had taught her the code when she was just a little filly, saying how he and the rest of the army often utilized it during the war.

Krazie stopped staring at the fire for a moment to respond to her friend. There was a spot in her vision from staring at the fire for so long. "There's an imprint of the fire on your fire, Midfire" *twitch*

She thought for a second, and then realized her statement had made no sense.

"It's been a long day, and I'm starting to get really sleepy. I think I'm going to hit the hay. Maybe we can go ghost-hunting tomorrow night, Midfire."

 

((OOC: Lol, i'm not kissing up to them. But our characters are all supposed to be friends, so i thought my character should act friendly. Also, I have to go to bed in a bit. See you all tomorrow ))

She thought for a second, and then realized her statement had made no sense.

"It's been a long day, and I'm starting to get really sleep. I think I'm going to head off to bed now. Maybe we can go ghost-hunting tomorrow night"

(( OOC: I know that, but the mares seem to all be paying attention to Light. I find it kind of odd; I've never seen this in a RP. They're not paying attention to the others. ))

Midfire nodded, trotting outside of the cave and sitting her plot down. "I'll be guarding this place then. I guess I need a bit of the thrill."

Masquerade flopped down but then got up quickly and followed Midfire outside of the cave. His dad was always telling him to be brave and offer to do stuff. "Um, I'll be second watch pony!" He suggested, smiling wide and settling down next to her. "So just give me a nudge when you get tired and I'll stand guard just like my dad!" He said. Maybe I'll get a cutie mark in guarding! He thought, his eyes brightening. Then me and dad can guard together! What would that even look like though? Would it be a picture of a guard...But having the picture of another pony on my flank would be weird...

Masquerade flopped down but then got up quickly and followed Midfire outside of the cave. His dad was always telling him to be brave and offer to do stuff. "Um, I'll be second watch pony!" He suggested, smiling wide and settling down next to her. "So just give me a nudge when you get tired and I'll stand guard just like my dad!" He said. Maybe I'll get a cutie mark in guarding! He thought, his eyes brightening. Then me and dad can guard together! What would that even look like though? Would it be a picture of a guard...But having the picture of another pony on my flank would be weird...

Midfire laughed. "Are you sure you're up to it?" She laughed, sitting at the entrance of the cave. "There will be monsters that will gobble you up!" Midfire laughed. "Well, good luck, okay? I hope I get a cutie mark from guarding. I just hope," she said. "Hope YOU don't fall asleep." She smiled.

Masquerade scoffed, and pointed at himself. "Me? Fall asleep? Never!" He proclaimed. "Just wake me up when your wittle eyes get all tired and dwoopy." He jokingly said in foal talk.

He then settled down resting his head on his forelegs and closing his eyes. He was looking forward to guarding the group when Midfire finished. But now he didn't quite want a guarding cutie mark, as he didn't know what that would look like.

Moonshower smirked at Masquerade. "Want to bet on it?" She asked, picking up a rock with her magic just in case a timber wolf came, so she can prove herself.

Light was barely able to keep his eyes open resisting the thought of sleeping,Then he flopped over and started sleeping soundlessly,he looked like a hibernating bear in the way he slept, and he was smiling in his slumber
