Tempest entered the car with the other ponies and simply smiled. "My name is Tempest Sol." He said, looking at Grand. "I'm not here to steal." The cyan pegesus noticed several other ponies in the car. Tempest shrugged and sat down. "So, who are you and how many other survivors are there?"

Grand frowned a bit " well as you can see, we have the four of us headed to appleoosa where we think other survivors might be, and another three we..... we got seperated from." she said, knowing full well she abandoned them. "I'm Grand Finale, and you are?" she said, looking the pegasus up and down. She wasnt quite ready to trust this Tempest character

Ghost swallowed his pride. He knew he didn't have many options. He could either let Zycrin go and get the antidote, but risk betrayal, or keep him tied up and no one wins. Ghost thought about it for a minute, and decided. "...Fine. We'll untie you, but you have to give us the antidote. And if you try anything funny, you'll regret it.

Ghost swallowed his pride. He knew he didn't have many options. He could either let Zycrin go and get the antidote, but risk betrayal, or keep him tied up and no one wins. "Well then, now we have that sorted out, I shall remind you of my conditions, before we get moving I want my sword, bow and arrows back, we shall not move until I have them back". Zycrin was looking pleased with himself and even after all that has happened he has still got a smile on his face.

Lady blushed even harder as she rose to her hooves as told and began to follow Zeta. "Why are we going behind the building?" She asked curiously. "Why aren't we staying to help?" Lady pressed up against Zeta to help support him as he walked.

 

((Hoho~ I'm curious.))

"Because, I can trust Ghost and Josh with their work to interrogate the other pony." He spoke while limping.

When they got to the side of the building, Zeta leaned back onto the wall and exhaled. Inhaling again, he looked directly into Lady's eyes.

"My name is Hyperion, and to think my life ended 11 years ago from that one tragic accident.."

He took another pause before speaking, but this time his tone of voice became higher up from his normal deep voice. "I feel like I haven't told you enough about me, yet I never have been able to. But, I had a wife who loved me, and I loved her. When she died in the hospital and was never found, I grew angry, yet sad. From then on, I never found a good reason to live, yet I never found a good reason to die. But.. Why is that? Why couldn't I pull the trigger when it was right there?"

They were out of Ponyville, a relief for Fire Horn, still not knowing what they were doing going to Appleloosa, he decided to ask Grand.

"Why are we going to Appleloosa? Seems like a strange place to be." Fire Horn asked, a confused look on his face.

(sorry, i shall explain)"I do apologize for grabbing you so suddenly, but those trotters were bound to get us if we didnt leave. I found a note that some survivors left, saying they were headed to the nearest town. we thought appleoosa was a good a place as any to check. My family is from ponyville so I am hoping to find them, or at least the ones that are still alive" she said with a sigh. the book was still in her saddlebag.

"My family lived in Canterlot, that's where i'm from. But i didn't like all the commotion, it was too crowded for me." Fire Horn explained. "So i moved to Ponyville, that's where i met my..." Fire Horn went silent. It was a touchy subject for him, one he didn't like thinking about.

Grand saw the sadness in his eyes. " I found this book in Mayor mares room, its a list of all the residents of ponyville. it seems she was keeping track of the ones who didnt make it" she said, showing a random page, where a young colt had the word "BITTEN" written crudely across his picture. "if you want to look at it you can. Its a terrible way to find out, but it confirms the fate of at least some of the ponies you knew" she said, the page flipping to the one of her mother for a moment before she closed it tightly

Ghost had a terrible look under his mask. "Here! Take back all of your shit!" Ghost reluctantly gave Zycrin his weapons back. His sword, his bow, his arrows, all of it. When I was old enough, I moved to Canterlot so that I could become a member of Luna's royal guard. My sister stayed in Ponyville." Tempest then glanced at Grand. "Do you mind if I see that book?"

Fire Horn levitated the book from Grand, deep down, he expected that she would have been bitten, along with...

He looked through the book, he found her, Missy Starlight, she wasn't listed as bitten or deceased, maybe she's OK, maybe she got out alive. "She's not in here as bitten, she might still be alive." Tempest asked to see the book. "Sure, have at it." Fire Horn levitated the book over to him.

. " If you need any.. support, i can try my best" she said. discovering that book has proven to be a blessing and a curse. her mind returned to the ponies she left behind, and her guilt came back. "I suppose I could tell you something about myself as well, unless you would rather not. I dont have much to tell anyways" she said, trying to take her mind off of it

Lady frowned and gazed at the ground in sorrow, "Your wife died...? In the hospital? That's so sad..." lady then nudged Zeta reassuringly. "May I call you Hyperion? You can call me Paint. Only the ponies I was close to called me that." She explained. She then awaited his reply.

 

"She didn't die in childbirth though.." Zeta quietly responded. "A suicide bomber, one who I wish I could wrap my hooves around and choke him do death blew it all up."

He covered his eyes to prevent any tears from coming out, until it stopped and he could answer the next question. Though he was hesitant about it, Zeta came up with a conclusion.

"I'm not used to being called that, but you may call me Hyperion only if we're together. Nopony knows my real name except you, Celestia and Luna and I want to keep it that way."

There was another pause in his conversation, but then he spoke the reason why he was here.

"Also, I hate to ask this but, can you reteach me what it means to be happy again? Considering you are the only pony I can turn to right now..."

Ghost nodded and went to find Zeta and Lady. When he found them, he told them what was happening next. "We freed Zycrin. Don't be alarmed. He's harmless for now. He's going to help us find the cure to heal Josh. Once we do, I'm going to transport us to Appaloosa so we can meet Grand an the others once they get there."

Tempest grabbed the book and opened it. After a few minutes of looking he closed the book and pushed it away from him. "My entire family is bitten." He said, going into a state of depression. "I'm the last Sol alive."  The cyan pegesus then sighed and looked out the window.

Grand put the book away "im so sorry. My mother is dead too. But, there must be someone out there you know thats still alive, perhaps a friend or even an acquaintance?" she said, hoping to comfort the new pony. some way to welcome another survivor. Today was not Grands day at all

The entire ride Thunder had been feeling guilty. They had left behind half of their group.

 

I know its the right thing to go back but I might not make it out of Ponyville alive if I go back.

 

She decided to do the right thing.

 

"I have decided to go back to Ponyville. I have to try and go get the rest of the group. If anyone would like to help me speak now."

Zeta stood up like he was fine, but without warning put both arms around her, even if it hurt his shoulder to move it that way.

Basically speaking, he hugged her.

And he continued to hug until he was interrupted by Ghost again.

When Zeta let go of Lady, he slowly spun around and gave a nod at Ghost which meant he understood his word. Though he was kind of frustrated that they were interrupted, they had to get a move on soon so no random trotters would spot them.
