open Stuck in the Foals of Time

The twelve foals were gathered in a small room which had four doors, one on each wall. Celestia and Twilight were in the room with them, preparing to do role-call.

 

Celestia stepped in front of Twilight, ready to talk. "Good evening, royal subjects. May I first say, you are extremely honored to be a part of this process. However, you will not be traveling immediately, first you must go through rigorous training over two days." Twilight mumbled something about not all the foals being there yet. The high princess was only slightly concerned though, knowing that the others could catch up easily enough. "This door, Door 3, will be your living quarters. There are twelve beds in two rooms, one for boys and one for girls. There is also a dining room, where you will be served every day. Door 2 will be the training quarters, where you will spend most of your time." 

 

The princesses looked over their subjects, studying them.

 

"The element of strength, right now Stephen, will train in weights in block 1."

"The elements of genius, Poison Puppet and Sunset, will be taught how to get their way out of many situations you may find yourselves in in block 2."

"The elements of kindness, Pip and Minty, will be taught medical and sociological procedures in block 3."

"The elements of leadership, Racer and Minath Watcher, will be tested on how well they can listen to others, and if they can take control if necessary in block 4."

"The current elements of perseverance and conclusiveness, Angel Feather and Junebug, will join in with block 2 until your partners arrive."

 

Celestia exited and Twilight stepped up. "We wish the best of luck to you all."

Racer-

The gray pegasus entered room 3, picking out the bed under the room's only window. The room was quite boring, a chest of drawers and the beds seemed to be all that was in it. He unpacked what little he had, the teddy bear he'd had since he was only a little foal, and the spare parts he planned to use to make something. "Hey, anypony here even exited?" He asked a question, hoping somepony would brighten his mood.

Junebug-

The young filly looked around at the others, snagging a bed near the wall. she noticed the room had only beds, a window, and a chest of drawers. She shrugged and mumbled to herself, "I just want to go home."

Pip walked into the boys room behind Door 3 and want straight into the furthest corner of the room.

He put a small knapsack full of herbs and a journal  under the bed and then examined the room around him

Seeing Racer he smiled "hello course im exited i can not wait for the medical training or to meet the other ponies. what about you?"

Sunset:

Sunset nodded as the princess addressed her and another foal.  She saluted the princess of the sun and then took off down the hall and to Door 3.  She opened the door and bounced inside.  She glanced around.  She saw only one filly had entered so far.  She raced over and jumped onto the bed beside the other filly's chosen bed.

Angel Feather:

Angel Feather jumped slightly when the princess spoke her name.  She lowered her head down and went to Door 3 where two other foals had already disappeared through.  She poked her head through the door and looked around at all the beds, silently choosing a bed at the very end. 

She went over to it and sat down onto it quietly.  She placed her bag down in front of her.

Poison Puppet listened closely as the radiant Royal Sister spoke. With that big, goofy smile pasted on his face, he couldn't hide it: he was excited in partaking in this experiment. Time travelling? Compared to the young unicorn's boring routine in his small village of zebras, that would be worth every single tour he was planning on. Even though he didn't know exactly what their task was, he assumed it wouldn't be anything too dangerous - the princesses wouldn't expose those foals to something deathly, he hoped.

 

After Celestia and Twilight finished explaining their training and preparations, Poison took a quick look at his partner - Sunset - and turned his attention to the "Door 3" afterwards, where his accommodations would be. He watched as some of the subjects entered the room and followed them inside, towards the boy's quarters.

 

The ambient of the room wasn't the most pleasant in the world: a single window barely illuminated the dull colors of the walls and floor. It almost looked like a prison. But Poison decided to disregard that thought, as the expression of the other foals around him also looked rather sad and dull. He wanted to try his best and brighten things up a bit with positive thoughts.

 

He soon found an empty bed and threw himself on it, dropping his saddlebag beside it. "Isn't this fun?" Said the unicorn foal out loud, the smile on his face everlasting. "We're going in an adventure! A very important one, since we got summoned by the princesses themselves! I can't wait to get started."

Stephan walked into block one and began his training. He always specialized in speed, but he recently discovered that he is a decent fighter once he puts his mind to it. He struggles to pick up the weight. He can only lift about 35 pounds. "This could be a problem..."

Junebug smiled at the pony who chose the bed next to her. "Hi, I'm Junebug. What's your name?" She stepped off the bed she was on, holding the locket with the pictures of her parents and sister. 

 

 

Racer looked around, only a few other colts were in the room then, he assumed that the others had all gone straight to training. One stood in the middle, trying to cheer the others up. He recognized him as Poison... Muppet? He wasn't sure, but the thought he must've been the element of kindness. 

He got up and stood by him, trying to live up to his expectations as the element of leadership. "Yeah, just think, perhaps we'll be saving the world from the changelings!"

Sunset:

Sunset beamed at Junebug.  She paused for a moment.  She touched her throat with her hoof, to say that she couldn't or wouldn't speak.  She pulled open her pale orange bag and pulled out a little white board with a marker attached to it.  She swiftly wrote on it and held it up so that Junebug could read it.

'I'm Sunset' it read.

Junebug tilted her head as the mare touched her neck and then pulled out a card. "Oh, hi Sunset. I love your name." She struggled with what she could say next. "Are.... Are you a mute, or do you just have a sore throat?" The little filly was nervous that she had set her off or embarrassed her.

Sunset:

Sunset smiled and waved a hoof at her, as if to dismiss her nervousness.  She wiped away her name from her little whiteboard and wrote once more.  She held it up after she had finished writing.

'Mute'

Even though she could talk, it was always much simpler to call herself a mute.

pip sat himself on his bed and began to write in his journal quetly but kept an ear out on the conversations that were happening

"i wonder if we are really going to do anything important for equestria" he asked himself in his head and kept scribbling in his book

"Yeah, just think, perhaps we'll be saving the world from the changelings!"

 

"Yeah..." Poison thought about the hypothesis presented by his fellow. He'd heard those changelings he mentioned were bad guys, and that they fed on the love of defenseless couples. He couldn't picture himself fighting off a menace like that: fighting wasn't exactly what he did the best. But whatever their mission would be, he once again assumed the Princesses knew what they were doing when they selected all of those foals.

 

"...Who knows!" He exclaimed once more, turning his head to meet the pegasus he was talking to. "I'm honored enough of participating in this. The element of genius... Doesn't it sound amazing?" Poison blinked. "By the way, I don't think I quite got your name!"

Racer smiled back at the pony, but wasn't sure what to make of how proud he seemed, sounded like he could have a bit of a big head.

 

"Oh, it's Racer, I should'a told you earlier, sorry. I'm the element of leadership, by the way."

Junebug nodded at the poor pony who sat in front of her. She wondered why celestia would be motivated to bring a pony who could not peak on this strange journey.

 

"Well, I'm always here if you need anything, I don't know if you'd need any help... With your 'condition'..." She spoke with awkward concern in her voice.

"Oh, it's Racer, I should'a told you earlier, sorry. I'm the element of leadership, by the way."

 

"Racer, huh?... So I'm assuming you're really fast!" Poison chuckled. That was just a bit of his own personality: lifting the spirits of the others when he sees that it is needed. He may appear to be silly at first, but if that at least made the others around him laugh and feel more comfortable, his job would be done. "I'm Poison Puppet! But you can just call me Poison, for short. Very nice to meet you!" He concluded.

 

Poison then turned to the other pony in the room, who seemed to be writing something down on a journal. "What about you?" He asked. "What's your name?"

Minath walked through door 3, and chose a bed in a corner. She listened to the conversations around her, trying to learn about these foals the best she could before having to actually interact with them.

 

Hmm, I wonder about Racer, the other element of leadership. I hope we get along.

Minty trotted into the room carefully, looking about the room surrounding her filled with foals she didn't even know. She was assigned another element; but who? Minty wanted to join in on the conversation, but she didn't want to interfere. She saw a quiet colt in the corner, and trotted over. "Uh, hello, are you Pip, the other element of Kindness?"

Sunset:

Sunset lifted her shoulders and smiled, shaking her head to say that she didn't need any help.  She wondered what element Junebug was, so she wrote the question onto her white board.

'What's your element?"

 

Angel Feather:

Angel Feather turned her head to glance over her shoulder at the other fillies before turning back to the wall and lowering her head so that her mane fell over her eyes.  She didn't want to cry. 

And she wouldn't!  No!  She would be fine!

But why did Celestia pick me? she wondered.

Pip looked up at minty and smiled his usual wide smile "i am Pip and since you said other element of kindness ill have a guess and say that you are Minty" Pip extended a hoof as if to shake hoofs

Voodoo, yes." He still found difficulties when trying to pronounce that name. "My parents taught me a little bit of magic regarding the voodoo art, as well as a few first-aid basics. I like making dolls, too!" He once again beamed. It wasn't very often that he was asked about his origins.

 

"Uh, hello, are you Pip, the other element of Kindness?"

 

Poison turned his attention to the mare that suddenly entered the room and searched for the other half of the element of kindess. "Why, hello there, missy! Welcome to the boy's quarters..." He chuckled, emphasizing the boy's.

"They should really label these quarters." Minty threw on her friend's token before Minty had left: a disappearing cloak. Minty managed to smuggle it into the quarters. She flew away. "Nice to meet you anyway," Minty said.

(( OOC: She's so sneaky in this. :3 Usually not her. I'll try a different Minty this time around. Since I noticed Junebug has a lime color text already, I'll do light blue. ))

" you like first aid ohhg what kind i am good at that oh wait it sounds like i am bragging i dont mean to im sorry" Josh smiled  nervously "what types of first aid? herb or pills or medicines or bandages or do you not know you just have first aid experience?"  

Josh walked out of the dorms and sat in the room that they had all just met in "anypony here" he called curious if anypony was around to hear him. When he heard no reply he sat down and looked around the room curiously as if searching for something around the room

I want to find a book on healing herbs i like healing things and taking care of people so i want to see if i can get any new information on it. What about you what are you doing out here?
