Sunny giggled as Candy fluttered her eyes and kissed her back. "I love you too," she murmured. It was wonderful and peaceful moments like these that she wished could last forever. The bright yellow unicorn looked at the clock absentmindedly. it was almost suppertime, and her stomach gave a slight growl to confirm it. They'd skipped lunch. "As much as I'd like to just stay like this forever," she smiled. "I think both of us should get some supper. We completely skipped lunch. Want me to make something, or go to a restataraunt? My treat if we decide on the latter."

Candy giggled a bit when she heard the stomach growl, "Let's just go make something, I'm still a bit tired. Besides...any meal is a treat with you." She nuzzled the other mare once more, and got up. They headed into the kitchen, "I forgot what all we bought earlier..." She laughed to herself in an exhausted manner, she had no idea why she was so tired-feeling. "Maybe I'm getting sick...eh, I dunno." She ignored the thought.

Sunny smiled and  walked with Candy to the kitchen.

"Hmm, mostly just fruits and some lettuce... Oh! That's right, I forgot. We were planning to make fruit salads for supper." she smiled at Candy, before noticing how tired she seemed. Her grin grew into a concerned frown. Yes, most ponies often stayed a bit drowsy after waking up, but she seemed just... worn out.

"Are you alright, sweetie? You seem pretty exhausted..." She went over to her and hugged her. "I'll make supper, you can get some rest if you want until it's ready. If you fall asleep, I can wake you up if you're up for it. I won't force you to get some rest, you just seem so tired and i don't want you to make yourself stay up if you're too sleepy.

"Thanks for looking out for me, love." She smiled weakly, "Would you mind if I just watched you?" Her smile gradually became broader. Even if she didn't feel so hot at the moment, seeing her marefreind do just about...anything, was uplifting to her, for some reason. She didn't quite understand it. Candy immediately sat down and started pondering the concept.

Sunny gave a small smile as Candy's grin grew, but her eyes remained concerned. She sighed and decided to let it be.

"If you're sure you'll be alright," she replied, giving her a kiss on the cheek before getting to work on their dinner.

After a short time, the fruit salads were done and ready to eat, and she levitated the bowls to the table where Candy was sitting.

"Here we are," she announced, setting the salads down carefully and sitting across from her marefriend.

Candy took a bite of salad, then finally finished her thought process. "Thanks, sweetie." She sighed, "Y'know, I was just thinking about why it is I can bring myself to enjoy seeing you do the simplest things..." She smiled, "I think it's that...it reminds me...it reminds me that every second I have you is just making my life better. And I wanna give you the same feeling..." She trailed, some self-doubt coming over her.

Sunny blushed with surprise and her face broke out into a smile, which turned to an attempt at reassurance as Candy seemed to start to doubt herself. She reached out a yellow hoof and placed it on Candy's.

"You do, love. These past three days have been the most wonderful days of my life, starting when I met you. Just looking at you gives me butterflies and makes my heart skip a beat. " she gave her a soft smile. "And every second I spend with you just makes my life that much more beautiful."

Candy blushed once again, sighed in an infatuated manner, smiled broadly, and squeaked excitedly. "You really are just...so perfect! I know I keep saying it..." she giggled nervously "...but it's so true!" She took some more bites of her salad, and enjoyed it even more knowing Sunny had made it.

Pondah wondered at looked into the full body mirror. He stared, awestruck, at the pony that looked back. "It's... it's great,"  Pondah said quietly.   "You've done a good job here. It feels lighter and softer."  Pondah ran a hoof through his main and hummed with approval at it's texture.

"Quit playing around! You're not interested in the fact she made your mane better. Tell her what's really more important.'

This new inner monologue gave Pondah yet more guidance on his next move. "I have to thank you," Pondah said whilst looking into Bubble's eyes. "I feel more comfortable being touched, I spend my time on furniture and not under it and I just feel more confident. I don't know if you plan on having foals but if you do, I will tell them myself that their mother is a miracle worker. You've broken some of my fears. Now it's my turn."

Pondah pulled his hair round so it was all in front of him and began to wrap it round his neck. When the length began to run short, he pulled it through itself and created a sort of hairy scarf. "What do you think?" he asked.

Sunny chuckled at Candy's enthusiasm and ate some of her own salad. Not bad, but she didn't care as much about it tasted to herself; Candy was the one she hoped was enjoying the salad. It looked like she was.

Sunny beamed at her as they ate.

"How did you like your salad?" she asked when they were done eating.

Candy finished her last bite, and finally responded to the question, "It was great." A pleasant grin coming over her. She took their dishes to the kitchen sink, and returned to Sunny. Candy still wore her smile, she was absolutely ecstatic, still. Her first relationship ever, and it was going so well, and her partner was a dream come true for her. "Thanks for the meal, sweetie..." She hugged the other mare from behind, while she was sitting at the table. "...and thank you for everything else you give me." She kissed Sunny on top of the head.

@,

"Uhm..."

Bubble was a little lost for words after Pondah's speech. Very lost for words actually: so much so that "what do you think?" all of a sudden seemed like a question that had no correct answer associated with it.

"You don't have to thank me silly! Everyone deserves to be happy: you just needed a push in the right direction... that's what friends do!"

She thought for a moment.

"Your turn for what? I'm not afraid of scarves... At least I don't think I am: I mean, I don't usual wear them but that's more a practicality than a fear: it's not really cold enough to merit wearing one."

Never quite forgotten.

"My turn to deal with a fear," Pondah replied. "I've always had my mane long partly because I like it long and partly to cover my blank flank. I've beaten my fear of being touched and now it's time to beat my fear of getting judged for my flank." Walking to the door, Pondah motioned to his flank. "I'm ready to get out there and get fed. Are you coming along?" Pondah walked out of the bathroom and held the door open for Bubble to follow.

@,

"Sure!" chirped the mare happily as she hopped to her hooves and trotted past him and out into the hall with a backward glance at the overly extravagant room.

She stopped outside and waited for Pondah to lock the room and walk with her. "Let's go! Come on, I bet the others are wondering where we are."

Pondah walked out of the room with his mane-scarf dangling by his neck. He turned to lock to the door before escorting Bubble back down to the hotel's resteraunt. "What do you feel like having?" Pondah asked. "If they made your favourite food, what would you get?" A sudden wave of genius hit Pondah while he was waiting for Bubble's answer.

'I can store stuff in my mane-scarf!

With a grin on his face, Pondah took the keys and buried them in his mane-scarf like an animal secreting its eggs.

Heading back downstairs, Bubble touched a hoof to her chin thoughtfully.

"Uhm..." She thought. "I don't know... I don't really know what kind of food a fancy place like this will serve. I doubt they have Ice-cream! I'm just going to pick something I cant pronounce!" She said with a smug look. "It's more fun that way!"

She watched Pondah's antics and giggled a little. "You know, you can get actual scarves with pockets for things like that?"

Pondah shrugged before replying. "This is cheaper and more convenient," Pondah replied "And much softer..." Whilst burying his face into his mane-scarf, Pondah stumbled on a loose piece of carpeting and fell to the ground. "I'm completely intended to do that!" Pondah exclaimed with a feeble smile on his face. "But to get back to what you were saying, I doubt they'll have iced cream here. I think an establishment of this grandeur would want to put edible things on the menu."  Pondah's smile turned into a cheeky grin at his latest remark.

(About four times today I've opened up this RP to reply before getting called away for forgetting to write anything >.>)

"Hey! Don't say that about Ice-cream!" Remarked Bubble as she giggled at Pondah tripping. "Anyway, yeah, I'm just going to guess!"

She trotted happily along beside the grinning colt, still admiring the decoration of the hotel.

"You're smiling a lot now. It's nice!" She observed with a smile of her own.

"I guess I've just got something to smile about," Pondah replied with lightning speed. He turned to look Bubble straight in the eyes before continuing. "I'm finally happy for once and it's all down to you."  Pondah's smile changed from one forged from excitement and joy to a smaller, refined one of gratitude and thankfulness.

Hey, , how does it feel for Pondah and Bubble to have existed for 59 pages and not had a single kiss?

Bubble blushed the same color as her mane, suddenly remembering just how interesting the pattern on the carpet seemed and locking her gaze downwards as she beamed to herself. "I didn't really do anything..." She mumbled sheepishly.

As they reached the bottom floor of the hotel. "Uhm, should we find whats his name? Skycoaster?"

As the duo entered the bottom floor resteraunt area, Pondah pointed to the raised area where Skycoaster and Thunder Dash were sitting. "There they are,"  Pondah said. "I hope they're not to angry at the fact we kept them waiting for a while." Pondah began to walk towards where Skycoaster sat as he withdrew the room keys from his mane-scarf-storage.

Bass cocked his head, pondering the stallion's suggestion. "Uh..." He began. "I always have openers play for me, but it's always electronic... What music do you play? I didn't think you did electronic music..." He stated, still confused at the stallion's enthusiastic idea.

"Oh... Nevermind then. I only really play acoustic, forget about the idea, I'll find something else." Kaz said disheartened by Bass' obvious attempt to dismiss the idea.

They had spent the most of the day lazing around the house, chatting and were now both contemplating what activity they should engage in before night set in.

Bass noticed the disheartening of his partner, and in an attempt to cheer him up, flipped his attitude again.

"So whatdya say, stallion?" he queried, "Wanna go cruise around Baltimare, eyes on whatever opportunities arise?" As he finished his question, he had grabbed Kaz with a grin and waved a hoof in front of them to try and create a picture of the endless possibility of the city.

((Sunny's post here gave me Bunny. I am now a Sunny Bunny.))

Sunny looked up and smiled at Candy.

"I'm so glad you came into my life." she thought out loud, and nuzzled one of her forearms, which were still around the yellow mare's neck.

"Is there anything you want to do today?"

Rut-Light was currently still talking to his boss; Steam Iron about well, take a look.  "I understand that sir, I was just taking a chance so the mail would not be late and people wouldn't be all crazed and storming the P.O asking where the heck their mail is, as for the bridge I also understand that it was the only way to that part of the countryside."  The reason Steam Iron wanted to see Rut-Light was originally for the sake of an update on how things are holding up, then Rut-Light had to mention the bridge collapsing and then everything kinda went to tartarus. "That bridge was more than a link to one station to another Mr.Light!  It was the first wooden bridge to be built on the Baltimare Railway and served as a trading hub between Ponyville and Baltimare for over 23 years, and it's now fallen apart due to your actions...you just destroyed a piece of this Railways history!"

To say that Steam Iron was mad would be a small understatement, but now it was Rut-Lights turn to talk; he simply jolted up from his seat and crashed his fore hooves on the desk of his boss, and friend as he said in a raised tone, "SIR!  I have two statements for you right now!  One: I have been down that route more times then I can count, so I am certain that there is NO alternate route to go around the bridge!  Two: I understand what I did sir!  But if you want to get pissed off at somepony else then blow off steam at the ponies who loaded 300+ pounds of mail onto the train, yes i'm the one that drove it but who put all the weight on? HUH!?"  Rut-Light was fuming to the point where small hints of steam were being throttled out his nostrils, then he noticed how his boss was looking at him, something Steam Iron was not really known for; guilt.

Rut-Light was now just shaken by the sight of his boss on the ground with the look as if somepony just accused him of treason, and now it was Mr.Lights turn to feel guilt.  Rut-Light just stared at the sight in front of him and finally muttered, "S-sir, I-I didn't mean...sir?"  There was no response from Steam Iron just a small sniffle and the faint drip of a tear on the cement flooring, Rut-Light proceeded cautiously forward and when he was close enough he was shocked; his boss was crying, just then Steam started to mumble random things, one phrase his boss whispered in particular stuck out in Mr.Lights mind though, "What is wrong with me?" to which he simply replied, "Hey, nothing's wrong with you.  I'm sorry I blew up like that, I shouldn't have and instead remained calm.  I know now that actions have consequences, but if you want to fire and replace me then I would understand why."  He helped his boss from the guilt wrapped wreckage he had become and steadied him on his hooves, then Steam Iron spoke "I...I would never replace you with anyone buddy and you know that just as well as I do, I also understand that I blew up in one of my best workers faces and I apologize.  However, I can never forgive myself for the accusations that I put against you; hence why I feel the way that I do.  Remember friend; there are seven things one can feel and each one can literally destroy you, and that one that should be on the list is guilt.  Now *proceeds to the door*...about that beer I owed ya."  Steam Iron opened the door to his office and turned his head to his friend and worker, "I think it's time to give it to you.  Besides, it's nearing lunch time; at least I think it is."
