Tempest smiled, and stood up. He then glanced at Caras. "There is nothing shameful in fighting for what is right." He said, as his aura surrounded him. "I swore to protect those in need, and I will not let you win." The cyan alicorn then roared as his aura enveloped him. Tempest's body changed drastically over the next few seconds. His wings expanded and turned pure black, and his body grew to about twice it's original size. A third eye then opened on Tempest's head, while his original eyes glowed red. Fangs and claws replaced hooves and teeth. Tempest's own fur was replaced by his aura, and eleven tails grew from his body.

 

(Yeah. This is basically Tempest's demon form. Let's just call him Nyx.)

@@Child Of Darkness Crimson was silent for a moment, giving Caras an un-amused look. "I choose...my own path...as you have chosen yours, Caras...I may not be strong enough to defeat you...but with all six of the elements combined, you'll be nothing more than a whining filly, who fancy's himself a god...or in other words..." he makes a madness inducing illusion, to distract him for Sole. "Go fuck yourself." He said in a demonic tone.

Caras launched into the air and hovered above Crimson. Caras grabbed Crimson with his Telekenetics and pulled him to his face.

 

"And that pain starts now."

 

Caras cast a spell which reverted all damage that Caras had onto his victim, in this case, Crimson. Caras wounds began to heal, his burn, horn cracks and broken leg healed and at the same time all this damage was inflicted onto Crimsons body. Once the healing was over, Caras let Crimson go as he remained hovering in the air.

Crimson coughed up blood and fell to the floor, gasping for air as he struggled to stand back up. "That...was a BIG mistake...you evil bastard..." he said darkly, before glaring at Caras with purple, glowing eyes. "Here's a taste of my new powers...Hades Break!" he said, causing a massive fissure to open up in the ground, with thousands of demonic hands reaching up out of it to grab Caras. 

 

((Just an illusion, low on muse, is Crimson dying now?))

Dark was slightly surprised with Tempest's new form, and decided to simply back away from him very slowly. "This can't be good." She thought.

 

Nyx glanced at the others, and then at Caras. He then pointed one of his tails at him, seemingly targeting and challenging said pony at the same time. The demon then roared, shattering most of the glass in the room, and charged at Caras.

Caras was startled by the noise, but even more so by Tempest apperance.

 

"What in Tartarus... This is interesting."

 

Caras turned into smoke in order to avoid Tempests Demon form and also so get a better look at it, so he could study his body, movement patterns and abilities in order to find a way to kill him.

 

For all the shock, Caras still had one advanatge over Tempest in this form. As a lord of Demons, Caras was highly feared and respected and any form of Demon was influanced by this Trait.

 

"If you think you can muster the power of my own kind to fight me, you are very mistakes. Like that, you are no more than a Demon spawn, and the spawn live to serve the Lords. You will stand down at once spawn. A Lord commands you this."

 

Caras was hoping this might work, Tempest was only in Demon form after all, not a full Demon, so control will be hard, but not impossible.

 

(Yes Crimson is dieing, and if you do not get help soon. I will end his life, or he will bleed to death.)

Dark was simply stood and watched in amazement. She then shook her head to clear her senses, and got ready to help Tempest, or whatever this thing was.

 

 

Nyx growled in frustration, and noticed Dark. He shook his head and motioned to where Crimson laid. He then returned his attention to Caras, before breathing a stream of black fire at the demon lord.

 

The dragoness was curious as to why Tempest didn't want help, but she figured that he could handle himself. She then ran over to Crimson and prepared to heal his wounds.

Sole saw the fight had started and flitted behind caras with incredible speed. "That's the last time I'll see you hurt my friends... Caras." He said in his ear, before swinging his sword and slashing at caras' exposed back with all his speed and might. "Eat this!" He roared angrily

Dark noticed Sole attack Caras, and shook her head." That isn't a good idea." She said, as she healed Crimson.

 

Nyx growled in frustration as Caras turned to smoke. "You may be a lord, but you do not command me." He said, through telepathy. The demon then noticed Sole and used one of his tails to knock him away. His eyes then glowed and a ring of black fire surrounded Caras and Nyx.

((How's that fair, though? Crimson only just returned and scared off some lacky, then gets brushed off by Caras, while Sole and Tempest fight him? Are Crimson's powers that useless?))

 

Crimson cursed and coughed up some blood again, panting slightly. "Defeated so easily...I'm nothing more than an insect to him, am I? No matter how much training I get, I guess useless will always be useless..." he said quietly.

Sole growled in surprise and anger as he was knocked away from the battle by the demon. And before he could re-enter the fight, a large ring of fire blocked his path. "Hey you son of a bitch! He killed my father, your not fighting him on your own!" He said angrily, as he prepared a spell to burst through the fire.

 

(Pretty sure that counts as godmodding. C'mon, don't make tempest a glory hog. Give everyone a chance to fight.)

Dark glared at Crimson. "You are not useless." She said. "Caras may be strong, but even he has a weakness." She said. "If anything, you've been a lot more useful than I have. I haven't done anything to help aside from heal you, Sole, and Tempest.

 

Nyx glanced at Sole, and a small patch of flame dispersed. "Don't get in my way." He said. The demon then

 

(Yeah. I didn't exactly know how well that would work.Also, didn't Sole already have a.one on one with Caras?)

(Yeah, but that was a long while ago. He's way stronger now. And besides, I seem to remember several characters fighting him at least once, tempest included.)

 

Sole glared at the demon for a moment, before walking through the gap and standing next to him to face caras. "No, you don't get in my way. He killed my old man, as well as two of my oldest friends. He won't get away with it. So how bout a little deal? Let's work together to beat this bastard, then we can argue later. Deal?" He said, as he prepared to fight

The slash from Sole was deep and painful, but he was going to continue fighting no matter what.

 

"You are in connection to the demon kind, your body is connected to our ways, you are just spawn, and I a lord! Stand down at once, or face the consequences of breaking demon law!"

 

Caras then turned his voice over to Sole.

 

"As for you, whelp. You and discord have been a plague on this land for too long! No longer, you can run, or you can fight. Either way, you will fall!"

 

Caras patience was at its end. He had had enough with these ponies getting in his way for far to long. He wanted them all to die, he wanted to kill them, painfully and slowly, making sure they suffer.

 

(Caras has lost him mind, he will be dangerous and relentless more than ever before.)

Nyx felt a small pain in his head, but he simply shrugged it off. "Times have changed, Caras. For instance, did you really think that Xena was the only aura beast Tempest brought back?" He asked."The only reason I, or any of the others followed you, was because we had no one to lead us." The demon then smirked, waiting for what he had said to sink in. 

 

(Nyx may be one of Tempest's many inner demons, but he also has access to the powers of the aura beasts within Tempest's mind. Just thought I'd put that out there. )

Sole smirked and shrugged "ah, it's not so bad... Dying I mean. Just sit tight, we'll make sure you've got a nice comfy spot in hell where you belong." He said, before tightening his grip on his sword and swinging again, this time at caras' neck in an attempt to behead him. He wouldn't lose this time.

"Your betrayal will be delt with later Nyx, once a demon, always a demon. You cannot erase the past! Your are demon kind nyx. And that will never change."

 

Caras moved away from sole as the sword just cought his neck, but not enough to kill.

 

 

"I have had it with you and your antics. Today is your final day griffin. And your father is not here to help you this time."

 

Caras pounded the floor creating shock waves and cracks of fire in the ground, after which he drew both of his swords and charged at sole.

As the ground shook sole wobbled for a moment, almost losing his balance. But he quickly jumped into the air and began to hover. He looked up just in time to see caras charge at him with his blades drawn. With a curse he raised his own and parried a strike before swinging his own blade at caras's chest from an angle. "You may be a god at magic caras. But you can't beat me in swordskill, I've trained my entire life with a blade." He said as he attacked

Nyx simply rolled his eyes. "Yeah, I doubt that." He said, before going completely invisible. He would wait for the most opportune time to strike, seeing as how Caras was a bit preoccupied with Sole. The demon then simply flew into the rafters of the castle, and watched the fight.

Within the mind of Nyx, a certain cyan alicorn drifted through unconsciousness. When he woke up, he saw that he was within his own mind, and sighed. "Why am I not surprised." He thought. Tempest then noticed Xena, and the other aura beasts. "At least you're all safe." He said.

 

Nephyer glanced at Tempest, and smirked. The aura beast of death, along with the others, were all watching the fight through Nyx's point of view. "Well, it's about time you woke up. You missed most of the main fight, but I guess Nyx is just licking his wounds." He said. "Come on, take a seat."

 

Tempest shrugged, and sat down in between Cella and Nephyer. When he got a better view, he noticed that Nightmare Moon was next to Icarus. "So, I'm guess you guys accepted her?"

 

Cella nodded slightly, "It took a while, but we sort of got used to her." She said.

Caras deflected Soles strike and grabbed him with his telekinesis.

 

"Do not forget the difference in age and skill, you are from the Discordian era and have trained for many years. But if you where trained in the old ways of the blade, you would be unstoppable."

 

Caras threw Sole away from him and looked to Tempest.

 

 

"I grow tired of this, these endless battles and fights. One day these will end. But you have to learn, you need help to get rid of me, and no one else in Equestria has the talent to help you. The only people who can help you are here, and even they cannot stop me. I will give you 2 months to train and find help, after the time I will return. And if you do not have help by then, it will be your end."

 

Caras opened a tear into the time void behind him and started to move into the void.

 

"You have two months."

 

Caras moved into the time void and closed the entrance behind him.

 

(I done this because I am very busy so I do not have much time to post. Also only 4 people seem to be posting and their is a lack of Character interaction out of combat and standard conversation. So I will be away for a while, sorry for any problems this causes.)

Nyx growled slightly, and jumped down from the rafters. He then glanced at the others, before flying into the air and away from the castle. He, along with every other being in his mind, needed to train if they were to have any chance of defeating Caras in a one on one fight.

 

Dark finished healing Crimson, and looked at the others. She didn't know what to say or do, right now.

 

After a few hours of flight, Nyx landed in a clearing, and Tempest's body returned to normal. The demon, along with every other being within Tempest's mind then materialized in front of said alicorn. "I assume all of you know what we're up against here?" He asked.

 

The cyan alicorn nodded, and sighed. "Unfortunately, yes. Why did you bring us here, though." He asked.

 

Xena simply sighed. "I think it's obvious, Tempest. We need to train, and we can't have any other distractions." He said, making sure that the group hadn't been followed.

 

Tempest nodded. "Ok, then. Let's begin." He said, as the sun rose over the horizon. For the next two months, Tempest spent every waking moment training alongside the aura beasts, Nyx, and Nightmare Moon. They grew stronger, and in turn, becoming more likely to defeat Caras. As time passed, the cyan alicorn came to terms with the power that dwelled within him, and accepted it.

(Since no one seems to be posting anymore, I will have to make a choice about a few things.)

 

2 months later

 

The time Caras has granted everyone to train and find aid was over and it was time for him to return from his sleep in the time void. He opened the void exit at his home in the everfree and returned to the real world. Not much had changed over the last two months from first impressions of the wind, but he knew that the damage he caused had subsided and place like ponyville now had ponies living their again.

 

"This to end soon. Last time it took me 700 years to take the throne, but that was a time where I and they had an army. Now it is 2 vs a dragon, aura beasts, a griffon and others. They must die soon."

 

Caras sent a telepathic message to Tempest. "Time, is up. I hope you have gotten stronger over these two months. I have returned from the void and I'm here to finish what I started, gather everyone in Canterlot throne room by tommorow after noon, and we will ned this once and for all."

(Been a while since I used Xecha.)

 

Xecha had been doing what he done best, stalking. For the last two months he had always been one step behind Tempest, taking extra messures in order not to be seen or detected. But after two months, Xecha was growing slightly hungry and he needed to eat. All he had to do was wait for the perfect moment to bite. One bite would be all he needs.

It was finally the day of the battle. Two full months had passed and he'd spent it doing nothing but train and getting stronger. By this time he'd developed dramatically, but he still didn't feel as strong as he needed to be. "Dammit... I need to get stronger. We need to stop him. It's my fault he got away last time... It's my fault he escaped..." He thought, before heading to canterlot with his determination focused.

Tempest heard Caras's voice within his mind, and looked at the aura beasts, Nyx, and Nightmare Moon. "It's time for this to end, once and for all." He said, eliciting growls and roars of approval from the beings who inhabited his mind. The cyan alicorn smiled slightly, as he brought them all into his mind at once. "I'm coming for you, Caras." He said, as he was enveloped in a sphere of his own aura, and disappeared.

 

Dark sighed as she walked through the halls of Canterlot Palace. Over the past two months, she had learned to control and use the power that laid dormant within her.

Tempest appeared in front of the sun above Canterlot, and looked down at the city below. "It's been a long time since we've been here, Xena." He muttered to himself.

 

The aura beast of time nodded, and smiled. "Yes. Hopefully we will be able to save it. Should we make our presence known?"

 

The cyan alicorn nodded and his horn glowed. The moon then appeared over the horizon and began to eclipse the sun.
