Planet Fall

What seemed like a test run of the experimental Colony-Class Starship ‘Unity’ quickly escalated into disaster.
A core malfunction caused the ship to plunge into the atmosphere of Gaia, an unexplored planet capable of sustaining life.
During the confusion, the captain was assassinated and panic spread among the crew.
The confusion caused ponies to neglect their duties, and the ship broke apart upon entry, large parts of it scattered over a single continent.
Separated, the survivors reorganized themselves into group. Leaders quickly emerging, and taking control of the scenario.
The story starts here, the 2nd day after the incident. You must choose which faction you will start off with and go from there.

Factions are:
-The Spartacists (A disciplined, military based society)
-University of Alexandria (A technologically advanced, exploration based society)
-PeaceKeepers (A democratic, social based community)

So basically you just pick which group you want to be a part of, and go from there. Each faction has it's own unique missions and play-style.

Rules of RP

• If you interact with DM characters, expect scenarios to happen

Aha, you found my little secret!   I have drawn inspiration from other sources, but the main concept is Sid's Alpha Centurai, yes. Nice ponyisms by the way! I might throw something else in there, but for the moment, the main three are the only ones about.

You don't need to know anything about the game, that just means more surprises! As for characters, I think Selune would be good for the PeaceKeepers, they're a more social based scenario, meaning your way with words rather than bullets gets you through the story

@@GingerJoy, Hmmm sounds like something she would encourage. After all she is an illusionist unicorn. This means that she prefers "avoiding" fights rather than making them but she can adapt to the situations.

Yeah, that'll work just fine! There might be instances of violence happening within the faction or wildlife being aggressive, but there will be ways around it. I'll put your character on the list now.

@@GingerJoy, I really like changelings... if by being a peacemaker i can help into such a peace (Queen Chrysalis is my favorite pony XD) that would be so awesome! Also involving changelings in a story makes it always interesting if you ask me... just saying imo imo!

Okay, so I managed to get a rough storyline for each faction.

 

Spartacists are lead by the strict yet responsible Colonel Romula Grey, she insists on carrying out her duties as Security Chief to maintain stability until another passing ship can pick them up.

 

University of Alexandria is run by an Oligarchy of five ponies, their goal is to build a new ship from the wreckage and explore the planet... FOR SCIENCE!!!

 

PeaceKeepers have the recently elected Balloon Attlee running the show, his plan is to create a self-sustaining community and keep every pony happy.

 

(Of course, The Rule Of Drama comes into play, so if something can go wrong, it WILL go wrong!)

Sweet! That means I have a character for each faction! As for the actual planning... I have a major storyline planned out, but I am currently trying to put together side missions to help keep people occupied during the story and to develop DM characters.

@@GingerJoy, To be honest it would be good if, once the rp has started, you mention it here quoting all of us. Also messenging us won't be bad either. One last thing you should do is link both sections the RP and the OOC at the start of each topic.
