SkyDream 315 August 7, 2013 Share August 7, 2013 So there's this website, www.notalwaysright.com which contains those "awful customer" stories, and they have a partner website www.notalwaysworking.com which relates stories from the other side of the fence. I just read this story on it which features Bronies. Casts quite the positive image, I'm very happy to say. Well worth a read.
MichaelxXxTrixie 433 August 7, 2013 Share August 7, 2013 Gah! If someone wants some tickets to any movie no matter how crazy it seems, as long as they pay for the tickets give them what they want. The theater is still earning money. 2 Thanks to the lovely Pink Mist for the magnificent signature!
. eris . 1,661 August 7, 2013 Share August 7, 2013 (edited) How incredibly insulting and rude of that theatre! No matter who is buying the tickets, they're supposed to sell them. I wouldn't be surprised if that man lost his job. On a more positive note, huzzah for bronies! They're everywhere, you know. I wish I'd been there, it seems like it was quite the experience. ^^ Edit: Gah! Why is my text and color not sticking? :/ Edited August 7, 2013 by Miss Earl Grey Zatiko Cliff Chaser Sprocket Peppery Mint Tell Me What You Think Of Me
Super Derpy 535 August 7, 2013 Share August 7, 2013 Yes that does cast a very positive image. I wouldn't be surprised if that man lost his job for what he did. The bronies handled it really well and I'm glad they didn't argue with the guy. Thanks to LittleRawr for the signature! Orablanco Account 3,707 August 7, 2013 Share August 7, 2013 What a nice little story. The comradery between those bronies, I mean, not the sack of quack who was working the ticket booth. Onwards to my DeviantArt page! Sig by the illustrious Kyoshi!
Smarts 1,623 August 8, 2013 Share August 8, 2013 That employee was a huge jerk and I hope he lost his job. That kind of behavior was uncalled for and deserves a firing. As for the good hearted brony, props to him for being such a great guy. It's behavior like that which gives us a good name and I wish there was news like this more often. IF is best girl. Golurk 468 August 8, 2013 Share August 8, 2013 ...That guy truly deserves to get fired. He just wasn't doing his job. If someone wants tickets to a movie, his job is to give those tickets to them. Jerk. Anyway, it's things like this that make me smile. I always like to see people help each other out, and this is no exception. Indeed.
Batbrony 16,056 August 8, 2013 Share August 8, 2013 (edited) Fantastic pro-brony story! Having worked at a theater myself, I really hope that incredibly rude employee got fired! Can't imagine why anyone would ever NOT sell a ticket to a customer (barring minors restricted to rated R features). Thanks for sharing this lovely story SkyDream! lincolnshirepony 527 August 8, 2013 Share August 8, 2013 Ooh, I love the stories on those sites. I think my favorite brony story from the NotAlways groups might be this one. That's pretty awful that an employee would say that. It seems so counterintuitive to the purpose of the theater. Good on the person for getting them tickets. 1 DFTBA. Shanks 10,816 August 8, 2013 Share August 8, 2013 I have to hand it to them they handled that a lot better than I would have, I would done the best I can to keep the profanity to a minimum but I probably would have asked to see the manager and demanded that employees balls on a platter. Galen 1,354 August 8, 2013 Share August 8, 2013 Great story! It's heartwarming to hear about people sticking out for each other even when they're complete strangers. And movie tickets aren't exactly cheap either.
Yellow Diamond 7,575 August 8, 2013 Share August 8, 2013 This thread appears to be related to the My Little Pony franchise and/or the Bronydom in general. Thus, it has been sentenced to Sugarcube Corner. This is an automatically generated message, by the way. Domine, tu omnia nosti, tu scis quia amo te. AnonyPoni 564 August 9, 2013 Share August 9, 2013 Yay! Bronies stick together! That was a nice story. Those guys handled that very well. I feel all warm and tingly inside... what is this? Happiness? Brony pride? yay
Rockymoo 2,137 August 9, 2013 Share August 9, 2013 Excuse me while I wipe a tear from my eye. That's real brotherhood right there. We stick up for each other like that guy did. Bronies for the win.
