Bronies at NotAlwaysWorking

So there's this website, www.notalwaysright.com which contains those "awful customer" stories, and they have a partner website www.notalwaysworking.com which relates stories from the other side of the fence.

I just read this story on it which features Bronies.  Casts quite the positive image, I'm very happy to say.  Well worth a read.

Gah! If someone wants some tickets to any movie no matter how crazy it seems, as long as they pay for the tickets give them what they want. The theater is still earning money.

How incredibly insulting and rude of that theatre!  No matter who is buying the tickets, they're supposed to sell them. I wouldn't be surprised if that man lost his job.

On a more positive note, huzzah for bronies! :D They're everywhere, you know. I wish I'd been there, it seems like it was quite the experience. ^^

Edit: Gah! Why is my text and color not sticking? :/

That employee was a huge jerk and I hope he lost his job. That kind of behavior was uncalled for and deserves a firing. As for the good hearted brony, props to him for being such a great guy. It's behavior like that which gives us a good name and I wish there was news like this more often.

...That guy truly deserves to get fired. He just wasn't doing his job. If someone wants tickets to a movie, his job is to give those tickets to them. Jerk.  >_>

Anyway, it's things like this that make me smile. I always like to see people help each other out, and this is no exception.  :)

Indeed.

Fantastic pro-brony story! Having worked at a theater myself, I really hope that incredibly rude employee got fired! Can't imagine why anyone would ever NOT sell a ticket to a customer (barring minors restricted to rated R features). Thanks for sharing this lovely story SkyDream! :)

Ooh, I love the stories on those sites. I think my favorite brony story from the NotAlways groups might be this one

That's pretty awful that an employee would say that. It seems so counterintuitive to the purpose of the theater. Good on the person for getting them tickets.

I have to hand it to them they handled that a lot better than I would have, I would done the best I can to keep the profanity to a minimum but I probably would have asked to see the manager and demanded that employees balls on a platter.

Great story! It's heartwarming to hear about people sticking out for each other even when they're complete strangers. And movie tickets aren't exactly cheap either.

This thread appears to be related to the My Little Pony franchise and/or the Bronydom in general. Thus, it has been sentenced to Sugarcube Corner.

This is an automatically generated message, by the way.

Excuse me while I wipe a tear from my eye.

That's real brotherhood right there. We stick up for each other like that guy did. Bronies for the win. ^_^
