Short description from Pony Gear Rainbow 1(Metal Gear Solid 1):

"During a training mission in February 2005 on Nightmare Moon Island(Shadow Moses Island), a remote island off the coast of Galopska(Alaska) containing a magical(nuclear) weapons facility, PONYHOUND(FOXHOUND) and the Next generation Special Ponies(forces) rebelled against the Equestrian(United States) Government, under the command of Scootaloo(Liquid Snake). Their target was the advanced weapon system PONY GEAR Rex(METAL GEAR Rex), a gigantic robotic weapons platform able to independently launch a magical(nuclear) warhead at any target on the face of the planet. Their demand was the body of the greatest soldier who ever lived, Big Pony(Big Boss), which, through gene therapy, they could use to create an army of ultimate soldiers.

With the safety of the entire world at stake, at the request of the Secretary of Defense, Colonel Granny Smith(Roy Campbell), the former commander of PONYHOUND(FOXHOUND), summoned Rainbow Dash(Solid Snake) out of retirement for one last solo covert operation to stop Scootaloo(Liquid Snake)."

Pony Gear Rainbow 2 Sons of Friendships:

 

Two years after the events of Nightmare Moon Island(Shadow Moses Island), Rainbow Dash(Solid Snake) and Ponycon(Otacon), working as Ponylanthrophy(Philanthrophy), receive intelligence of a new type of Pony Gear(Metal Gear) being transported through the Hugson River(Hudson River). As Rainbow(Snake) boards the tanker, it's seized by a group of ??? Mercenaries(Russian mercenaries) led by ???(Revolver Ocelot), intent on stealing the new Pony Gear(Metal Gear).

 

Another two years later and the Big Shell, the offshore clean up facility constructed in its place is taken over by a terrorist faction calling themselves the Sons of Friendships(Sons of Liberty). New PONYHOUND(FOXHOUND) operative Applejack(Raiden) is sent in to neutralize the threat. However, all is not as it seems.

At the height of the Colt War(Cold War), Equestria's(American's) greatest agent, a woman known only as Celestia(The Boss), defects to the ???(Soviet Union). At the same time, an extremist named ???(Colonel Volgin) fires an Equestrian-made portable magical missile (American-made portable nuclear missile) at the ???(Soviet) design bureau OKB-745, sparking an international incident. In order for Equestria(America) to clear its name and avoid Epic Pony War III(World War III), Celestia's(The Boss) last apprentice, a stallion(man) named Bash(Jack) and codenamed "Rainbow Bash"("Naked Snake"), is dispatched by the special forces unit PONY(FOX) to assassinate the mare(Woman) who taught him everything.
