Apparently part of my punishment is because I FORCED the mods to remove all of my welcome posts.

They were there for almost entire month, and everypony liked them. And yet I FORCED the mods to remove them?

I mean, I can deal with the fact that I broke a rule, even though not easily, but FORCED?

Well, it does make a point actually.

But considering I made a thread few weeks ago that was the most popular at the moment(except for the clop survey thread ), it even inspired Rising to write a fanfic , I'm pretty sure they don't have to worry about me not being "pro-content".

Yeah, that's what makes me really sad swirly, being punished for being friendly, way to go.
I posted repetitive welcome posts snapp, even though I did my best to make them diverse, sometimes I just couldn't make up a new welcome post for each member.
And I literally received this: "If you have no time to make unique welcome posts, then don't make them at all."
Not really word by word, but I know he used the word unique.

 

Ok fine, I concede with the moderator here.

Well I pretty much can't bucking believe this
I received a response from the mod. It was all mod-ish stuff, but at the end he wrote this
"Allowing you to continue welcoming new member in private defeats the purpose of restricting your access."
Seriously? Seriously? 

What..the..fuck. What is he trying to prove here? What is being proven by not allowing you in anyway (boy I love bolding stuff) to welcome new members? I thought the point was to keep you from spamming the forum, since that is what you did in the first place!! I realize you probably drove the mods a bit insane (bwaha), but it's not like they were removing your messages for as long as you have been banned: forever?

I got a reply from Thereisnospoon303. This is what he said: 

 

"Hey there, SparklingSwirls.

 

I appreciate the notice, but equerio should contact me directly on this matter. Our general policy is to avoid using a go-between for disputes and/or requests."

 

I honestly don't care. This is actually a violation of the sixth amendment if this were an actual trial; the right to an attorney (in this case, swirly or anyone else). Either I'll start a topic, message him, or spread the word by any means necessary...just as soon as I feel like it. Equerio's punishment is basically a life sentence for being a nice guy...

 

There is a lesson to be learned here, but that should not involve super long-term consequences. I think equerio has learned the hard way about what happens when you ignore a mod's request or you spam excessively (even if it's a greeting), so he shouldn't be banned from ever posting in the Welcome forum (in short).
