And actually celebrity crushes aren't that different from crushes on fictional characters.

 

They say "Never meet your heroes," because they will never be who we imagine them to be.  Take a celebrity like Selena Gomez, who has the image of a good girl.  I would define her by everything I know about her, but I still wouldn't actually know the real her, never having spent any time with her.  So I fill in the blanks with character traits I look for in a girl.  This leads me to get a crush on her.

 

If I were to meet her, she would not be the same person I imagined her to be.  In other words, I fell in love with a fictional character, because the real Selena Gomez will never be the girl I fell in love with.  The only difference is that I fell in love with a character based on a real person, rather than a fictional one.

 

This is all just hypothetical, I don't really have a crush on her.

Fair point. BUT, you would have to be open-minded towards it, because it won't happen otherwise. You know, don't struggle, 'cause then you'll NEVER get to experience it. Just, let go and maybe it'll happen. It didn't happen intentionally to me, so you don't have to purposelly do that.

Every fanfic you read will have an Octavia with a different personality, each created by every individual.  Equerio's version of Octy probably has characteristics he looks for in his ideal girl.
