As for the orthodontist it was fine, I sat there for 1 hour with my mouth open and that was it. I have braces now. It kinda hurts but panadol fixes that. I have to brush my teeth very carefully 3 times a day after every meal which will get annoying but other than that it's fine.

I remember when I got my braces, the first week was hell. It was hard to talk, it was really uncomfortable, and it hurt to eat.

 

I just got mine off a few weeks ago.

I've never had braces myself (though to be honest, I really want to get them) but I know that headgear stuff didn't really like my lip.
