I never really liked rarity.

I immediately disliked her at first actually. I adored her by the time season one was over though. And she was my favorite pony for quite a while. Now I just can't decide which of the mane six I like the most.

Rarity fits her element perfectly though. I don't understand how people somehow miss all of the times she's been generous. Sure she's occasionally a bit vain or greedy. But all of the characters have had moments where they didn't 100% fit their element. Rarity is no exception.

I can see how it could be generous. Rarity loves beauty. She loves to be beautiful and to feel beautiful. But at the same time she loves to make others look and feel beautiful too. Part of her job is that she loves making ponies happy with her creations. She wants to make others feel good about themselves through her work and art.

She can be generous all she wants, I still find her fairly annoying.

 

And she couldn't figure out that mobile meant the wheels on the puppet cart had to move.

Honestly, I think Pinkie is pretty annoying. She's probably the biggest reason why I lost interest in the show.

I hated Pinkie at first.  And now I absolutely adore her. Same as Rarity. Same thing with Applejack too. I can't say I really find any of them to be annoying, at least not most of the time.

Meh. I can understand why people don't like some of the mane six. Their personalities are all unique and certain people just can't relate to, or enjoy certain types of personalities. A lot of the mane six actually have traits I usually don't like with other characters, but do like in this show. It's just something about them has made me love them all equally.
