No, I don't like games with senseless and Pointless violence. In the game your main targets are usually malicious. The games also have intriguing plots and stealth aspects play a major role. Plus, there's a no blood option  In fact, you get penalized if you take the life of an innocent.

MGS has no pointless killing too, since MGS2, you can technically finish the game without even killing one person. It is also stealth game.

Alright, some people dying, because Story, but you can avoid killing since MGS2, even boss fights(Most die anyway, lol)

Interesting. The setting is also not in the modern day (Save a few modern scenes) So no guns modern weapons. I prefer swords and those types of weapons. And the free-running is the funnest thing ever!

I think bleak games can be really cool. I absolutely love it a game like say...Fallout. The bleak desolate wasteland has a certain sort of beauty to it for me.
