But in all honesty, I think they need to tie the movies more into the show. I'd like to see some sort of story connection now, because the movie(s) leaves a lot of unanswered questions.

I'm still not entirely sure about that Smash. I like the EQG movies, and I personally take them as canon, but I'm not sure how much I'd like it if they started to tie in with the original show.

 

 I kinda like them being a bit seperate.

It's possible. I wouldn't mind seeing something like that in another Equestria Girls movie, and I wouldn't be upset if it happened in the show itself. For now though they seem to want to keep them separate.

Yeah, but seeing Sunset's letters to Twilight makes me think not only is there going to be a bridge at some point, but also a chance Sunset could ultimately join the Mane 6

I'm sorry, I really just don't want to see that. It doesn't make sense to me that she would leave Canterlot high. The Mane five there are her friends.

 

 I could see her coming back to Equestria, but ultimately I think her place is in the human world now.

 

Also, might want to put Spoilers on anything to do with the story.

I could see in future season that Sunny could probably join the Mane 6. (Maybe as Twi's student or something...) I am kinda neutral on that idea, but it will be probably interesting to see that happen...

It's possible Smash. But I don't see Sunset coming to Equestria permanently. I think she's essentially the "Twilight" of the human world now.
