      30
    • Keep counting to infinity (count to the next million(s))
      108
    • Count back down to 1 (then back up)
      52
    • Other (pm or mention if you'd like)
      15

I have a Toyota Corolla. It's old, beat to hell and back, but it runs. Subies are great cars, don't get me wrong. I'm  car guy as much as the next person is, but the way the engine is set up in those, you have to typically tear the whole thing apart to work on it.

And when I meant truck, I was thinking one of these:

A Ford??  :eww:

I thought you meant Lada Niva

Don't judge a book by its cover. You will truly understand it if you're just willing to read it.

You have to understand, my stepdad, of sorts, has a $70,000 Ford F350 Platinum. Plus, I've always digged the way Fords looked. I'd be the guy who buys the Shelby Raptor.

Ford F-350 Platinum? Well then...

Eh. My family is a Chevy family except for my mom's side. On my mom's side, my uncle has 3 Dodges and my grandpa has 4 Fords. My dad's whole family has several Chevys on the farm. Anything from old wheat trucks dating back the the late 1950s to my dad's brand new Silverado 2500 HD. I don't like trucks because everybody around here has them. I'm under the firm belief that unless you live in rough or super hilly country or you drive over icy/muddy roads on a daily basis, you don't need a truck to commute.

I personally like Toyotas and Hondas.

My first car was an 82 Toyota Landcruiser

Looked something like this but only a whole lot more rust

The best part of that old puppy...manual transmission!!!

The only way I could feasibly see getting any sort of truck right now, is to sell both my Corolla, and my other car...

You could get an older F-150. Buddy of mine has a 94 with the L6 in it. Idk if you can find the L6 with 4WD. They may have only put that with the V8 models. But they're a lot more reliable than people give them credit for.

Or I could look for a Jeep with the 4.0 I6.

I thought you'd go for a Ford because of the stepdad thing.
