Don't write in the really deep and personal stuff, just put in what you think will make a great character. Write it more for future potential. I really like characters with potential. I have two OCs. One is based on who I am, and another is based on who I wish I was. I split up parts of my backstory to apply to my two different OCs. Also, you'd probably be interested to know that Wind Chaser went through three different designs and three different names before I made him what he is today.
