See, I didn't want to swap my head unit, or do anything to royally screw up any chance of reselling my car, so I bought a $30 adaptor that plays my iPhone through radio frequency.

Eh. I'm pretty sure an updated head unit in a 15 year old car isn't going to screw up the resale value. I'm going to say the resale value of a 2000 Honda Prelude pushing 200k miles has sorta plateaued. It really isn't going very far. Most I'll probably ever hope to get for this car is $3,500 if I sell it or probably $1,500 if I trade it.

Well, that's you. My car still has somewhat of a resale value.

@@Overdrive, Lol yeah. I wouldn't put a new unit in a newer car. But that thing only had a CD player. I put a nice JVC unit in it with Pioneer speakers. If anything, I've improved the sound system. Besides, the car is probably going to be owned  by some ricer (God I hope not...) who will throw some stupid sound system in it anyway.

See, at least you have a vehicle that can be modified with no issue. (Stupid bucking Toyota)

@,  Alright lol Well that does answer a couple questions. For music, though, this is always my most preferred medium

God I love my turntable :)

There is nothing easy about owning and listening to records. And that's what makes it enjoyable. Not to mention the sound quality is pretty awesome. You would think it would crack and pop but it sounds just as good as the CD. At least, when it's new. Because analog wears out over time. Which is why I rarely listen to my vinyls. But I love them anyway :)

@@Overdrive, What do you drive?

I am the (not so) proud owner, of a 2007 Toyota Corolla.

I passed up the opportunity to trade it for a Jeep.

@@Overdrive, At least you're getting good gas mileage, and I'll bet it's easy to insure something like that.

I know, but I passed up trading it in on a 2001 Jeep Cherokee with:

  • 4.0L AMC inline six (one of the best engines ever made)
  • 4WD
  • 60,000 miles
