I wasn't much of a fan of Gen 5. Some of the pokemon were just plain stupid...... Trubbish, is an example -_- :P

I agree. But we get that with every generation. G1 was obsessed with threes (Magneton - 3 Magnemites; Dugtrio - 3 Digletts; Dodrio - 3 headed Doduo; Exeggutor - Tree with 3 head...thingies...?)

 

Gen 2 didn't have anything dumb. Because G2 was boss. Steel and Dark type - best addition ever. Sneasel, Scizor and Steelix win the badassery awards. So does Shuckle. It's like Shuckle is that thing they send into a mine field to set everything off because OF THAT PURE MEGA DEFENSE ALL UP IN THAT GRILL YO! SHUCKLE DON'T GIVE A DAMN!

 

I don't know what else to comment on. G3 was awesome because G1 remakes and RSE were excellent games. G4 is where I started to jump off the bandwagon. And after G5 and N being a whiny bitch of a bad guy, I just lost interest. But lately I've had a much higher interest in the series again so here I am. I'm now playing X. And it's pretty glorious to be honest. Many of the new designs I've seen are great.

I'd go jogging but the temperature is currently -2°C / 29°F and it's windier than a bag of farts. 

 

I ain't running in that shit :lol: Not today!

 

But walking/jogging is what I like to do now when I've got nothing to do. But I am making it a goal to get out more often. I love the outside air. If it's not cold enough to freeze your skin the moment you walk outside, maybe you could go out? I've been feeling a lot better lately when I go outside :)

Aha yeah that's true, Gen 1 did have a few strange ones. I mean, wtf are Mr Mime and Jinx? :lol:

 

I really liked Gen 3 for a lot of new badass pokemon, like Absol and Zangoose. Plus, you know, Grovyle :P Emerald was a great game, probably my favourite main line Pokemon games, probably mostly for the base building. Can't wait to get Omega Ruby to do that again xD 

 

I'm jelly though, I really want to play the new ones. I hope I can pick up a cheap 3DS soon, before I'm left too far behind because I never actually finished Black, I just couldn't for some reason. G5 has to be my least favourite for sure

G5 was the big reason I lost interest. But with YouTubers like Pimpnite and events like Twitch Plays Pokemon and Delphox and Greninja being totally badass looking...I just couldn't help it anymore. I had to get back into it :)

 

I'll give G5 this: It did have some really good battle music. Though G1's battle themes remain to be my favorite. Those fast chromatic runs....they haven't really repeated that since then. 

 

I'll be playing OR soon. My brother has AS and he hasn't stopped playing it this weekend except for this morning because he's got an anatomy test he needs to be studying for (which he should have been studying all weekend...but hey...it's his college education...he's an adult now lol)


@Base well that's better than nothing. I'm trying to drop some of the weight I gained in college so that's my motivation for going on 3 mile walks. I may still try to get out today if the wind lets up. I'll wear jeans and boots if that's what it takes to stay warm. I hate being idle though because then I start overthinking things or I start thinking of things that I don't like to think about and then I get depressed. So it's best that I keep my mind busy.

I'm talking here and RP'ing, so I'm not entirely bored. Just can't find a third activity I want to do.

 

 I could go on a walk, but right now I just really don't want to take the chance of getting into some awkward situation.

@ Oh, I loved the G1 battle themes. Although I only really remember the Leaf Green/Fire Red gen 1 music tbh. You're making me go back though all my games I played listening to the music now :P
