I don't know why, but Gran Turismo may be one of my favorite series ever. And that's funny because as a PC gamer, I'm all like

 

But I've been gaming on consoles again for about the last two weeks or so.

Err, now that made me want to repair my PS3 and fire up GT5 once I get home with it fixed...

 

I think I like GT because you get so soaked up in technical stuff. The engines sound whimpy as hell and they really need the sound team from Need for Speed to come show them how they're supposed to make engines sound to get people excited about piloting bigger and more badass cars. But yeah I think I like it so much because it's much more of a simulator than a racing game. If only the AI was better. Like if they had competitors that actually paid attention to where you were rather than just slowing you down and being there. And pole positions. Really. You need to be able to run a time trial lap to qualify for a position rather than just starting out in last. That's a major gripe I have with GT6. 

 

I probably spent thousands of hours playing GT4 on my old PS2

 

I miss the days of the PS2. That console was gold.

Also I talked to the neighbor with the subwoofer that I've been complaining about a while. He seemed more like a reasonable guy rather than an asshole with a subwoofer. I just asked him to turn it down a hair and he was all apologetic and whatnot. Now I can't hear his subwoofer. Why didn't I just go down sooner?

 

Oh yeah. Social anxiety. Talking to people I don't know makes me nervous as hell.
